ordered a hot shot pizza buy one get one free the pizzas i got was not hot shot pizza will not be going back there again not happy

Both fish and fish cake was very nice arrived hot but there not chippy chips they were frozen chips, not nice and went in the bin.. Wont be getting chips from there again

Big sign on window that said fish and chips £4.50. My partner Ordered 2 fish & chips n battered sausage in the shop n they charged him £19 odd. Surely if fish and chips is 4.50 each it don't cost £10 for a battered sausage.

Smallest pizza for £10 I have seen thus far. Pretty short on toppings.

Unfortunately this order was the worst I’ve had from here. Usually it’s delicious and piping hot. Today it was lovely and hot but the chips were dry, old and full of little crunchy bits that just couldn’t be chewed they were so hard and the pizza crust I nearly broke a tooth on. It was really hard. I don’t like to complain but I was quite disappointed this time

Delivery and order was on time and correct - quality of food was appalling, I’d show pictures of processed chicken slices, green cold scabby chips and cold kebab white slices. Binned majority - pizza cheap but cheerful and garlic sauce went nice.

Absolutely disgusting. Frozen chicken. Frozen salad. Nan bread snapped like a poppadom, completely waste of money!! If I could rate 0 star I would but unfortunately just a one

Bought a kabab from here and was poorly for 3 days would never order from here again I was very unimpressed !!!

Best takeaway I have had in a while. Food was delivered early, was piping hot and delicious. There was also an abundance of food which was unexpected. Will be reordering again!

Garlic & chilli pots could be bigger.

I always have Fish for Good Friday ever since I was little so i had to shop around this year due to the virus and shops being shut, full up of delivery orders so we tried AK’s for the first time. The fish, chips and batter along with a chicken tikka wrap, small chips and garlic mayo were dropped on the doorstep, as are the rules now, 15 minutes before the expected time. Hot and ready to serve. My fussy son stated the wrap was ‘delicious’ which for him is high praise. Hubby and I shared the fish, chips and batter and it was great. Bright white fish, not overly battered. Even the dog gave a paws up for his little bit of fish. I didn’t look at the rest of the menu but may well give it a look next time we have a takeaway treat.

The food we ordered was not cooked.

Fish was beautiful, white and tasty, not overpowered by too much batter. Chips lovely and sons chicken tikka wrap was declared delicious by our son

Incorrect order, waited a further 50 mins after first delivery.

Hour and 40 we waited for it to be wrong said they would send the rest of the order, still waiting .....

Food was ordered at 8.45 to be delivered at 9.50, wasnt here at 10.30 to be told it was out with the driver. At 11.15 phones were off and no food.

Food came 2 hours 10 minutes late, was okay when it got here but only because we were that hungry we would have eaten it back when it was a 0 star health rated takeaway

Was cold by the time I got my food, although it said delivered at the time it should of arrived it wasn’t delivered until 30 minutes later. Maybe my good walked from the shop to my home, it was a cold night, the layer of grease didn’t seem to insulate it from the elements 🤨

Absolutely gorgeous food Delivery was late but a great response from the restraunt in timely manner telling me why it was late Absolutely gorgeous though and still hot

Delivery was very quick and the driver was polite. Pizza was a bit well done, chips were nice and garlic sauce was more of a dipping sauce. Chicken on pizza was chicken breast which was a great, base wasnt the best. Certainly not bad, but not the best takeaway I've had.

Nearly 2 hours late and wrong order

Unfortunately our food was over an hour later than was stated. Appreciate they are busy at a very tricky time but I'd rather be told its going to be a later time than have to ring to find out where it is.

Did not receive my large tub or garlic or my 2 pompadoms

I was very disappointed with my order this evening. I have ordered a nanbab from AK’s many times, it’s actually always my go to place to get one, tonight however what I received was very dry and not at all what a nanbab from there usually is. I had to call back, luckily they delivered some sauce that the nanbab is meant to be cooked in and my mam managed to salvage our takeaway. But I was very disappointed and won’t order from there again.

Had to phone to chase. Arrived 20 minutes late and was freezing cold. Will not be using again.

Food cold and late, half pounder chicken burger is one of them from Iceland in a cheap bun. Pizza although cold was fairly nice

Forgot to give me my pop. And they said the will get a driver to bring me it but they never come. I had to get a refund 2 ours later.

The service was great but I'm afraid to say most of our food went in the bin. The prawn on puree starter and the chicken tikka balti curry was loaded with salt. It tasted awful and wasn't edible. The pizza we ordered was just ok so we managed to get through that. But for us that's £25 down the drain. Sorry.

Cheap nasty meat in the curry, well overcooked and dry never had to put so much effort in chewing it just spoilt the food. Also they must prep all food on the same counter or have poor hygiene as pizza had spicy hot spots when it shouldn't have any spice at all so food went to waste. Wouldn't use again

My lass thought the chicken tikka masala was a bit spicy, pizza was great. Unfortunately didn't receive the poppadoms which I've gotten refunded by Just Eat but a little aggrieved to have paid for sauces that were wasted because there was nothing to dip in them.

Got a mixed kebab, had a several bits of chicken but the kebab portion was like 2 strands of kebab meat

Ordered NYE food was extremely cold, waited a while for delivery.. kebab the pita tasted stale, Kebab meat cold and tasted awful pizza was disgusting everything went in the bin will not be ordering from here again

When i got my food at first it look like it had been sat on so i sent it back then they brough a new one and the chicken felt frozen when i was cutting it and the curry sauce on the pizza was really grainy and tasted pretty much cold worst pizza i have had in a long time was an absalout joke not to mention the second time they came they gave me the wrong chips.

Asked for a time and got the food way early.. ALSO asked for salad on burger and all you get is lettuce.. Maybe change the wording as that's not salad..

Ordered from here many times before and not been disappointed but tonight was different. Food was late with no contact from the shop to let us know. Food was cold. Would have asked for a new order but didnt want to wait any longer so had to reheat it ourselves..

I ordered for a certain time as some family were out and dont like reheating my food. It was delivered an hour and 20 min early

1 hour 50 minutes for delivery for a wrap and some chips ordered 2 cans of pop which never turned up and food was cold. Couldn’t even be bothered to ring up and get me pop

Waited 2 hours for my order for it to be freezing cold no sauces or salad and no kabab meat on my garlic bread special 😡 seems to be every time I don’t go in to the shop and I order by just eat or phone order they are incapable of getting a order correct

Worst curry ive ever had delivered.

I ordered from here tonight using the Just Eat App. I went for the Family Meal Deal which was a great price. After ordering i got a phone call within minutes from a female worker, i got told i couldn't have the Chicken Korma Pizza with my order, confused with what she was saying i got past to the manager who repeated what the female worker said, I said "Any curry pizza was an option and i would like what i ordered", the manager said "you can't" and it was my fault for ordering followed with "tell you what i will just cancel your whole order" I am utterly shocked and appauled with his reaction to wanting a chicken korma pizza with my order (which is an option)and how a business would rather just lose out on an entire order over this!

Food was absolutely delicious. Even though one of the curries ordered was originally wrong, they went above and beyond to replace it, free of charge and have it delivered quickly. Would definitely order again.

Ive bought many,many kebabs from here for years,(usually twice a week)but lately its gone terribly downhill.The kebabs are only half the size they used to be and the one I got the other night was just dry and curled and crispy donner,very few bits of tikka chicken,almost as though they were the scraps after cleaning up and the amount of times the orders been wrong lately is horrendous(twice no salad,3 times no chilli,and so...I thought I shall order the large £14 one,well,it was just the same size in the little pizza box thats only half the size it used to be...with a couple of bits of extra meat,same salad and same dips...(Dont do it those who are thinking about it)...So changed from kebabs to try the curries,though they were tasty,curries arent my thing unfortunately.So that ruined about 10 years of praising thier kebabs to the hilt...Ive bin trying the one at jarrow,they could never beat aks when it used to be good,but they are superior now,kebab and pizza wise.The kebab days are over lol back to chinkys.

Wasn't the best curry I've had

food came cold, one of my currys all over the bag, the other curry in a crushed tray. Rang up to get another curry sent on the way and still waited over half an hour to the point where the rest of the food had to be reheated in the oven. Also forgot the onion salads, best part of the curry deal, so cheers, sons crying now.

Top class food & service from the folks at AK’s once again. The only place I go for pizza in Shields. Get some extra chillies on yer meaty feast pizza, you won’t regret it!

Very nice. The bolognese pizza could do with a bit more mince in but other than that the food was great. Kebab meat wasn’t too greasy and the portion sizes are generous. Will definitely order again from here in the future.

Curry was lovely but did not order the plain nan bread 🍞 this time as time prior the 2 I got were utterly disgusting and couldn't be eaten but the curry and rice are lovely

When u order a 990 chicken kebab u expect chips and for it to be warm

If you are starving, don't get a wrap. Very small, but also.... Very nice. Food is always fresh and can't complain about quality.

Food was over an hour late rang the restaurant and was told that it was with the driver 45 minutes went by still no food rang back to be told they’ll ring the driver. 10 minutes later food arrived barely hot. Checked order food was missing rang back to explain to receive attitude from the staff . Don’t think we’ll be returning

Ordered food and said it would be here at 19:15, food did not arrive until 19:25, was only warm not hot after I rang the take away and specifically asked if the food would still be hot as I rang at 19:45 and was told they were waiting for the driver to come back, the kebab was ok but again warm but the bairn didn’t moan, the curry and the prawn on purée was the worst I have ever tasted and ended up in the bin, never again will I order from here £30 order in the bin mostly, stay clear

Got order wrong, masala was very spicy not sweet, chicken was unchewable, naan bread was like cardboard... defo not ordering again worst take away in years...

Ordered a spicy Kebab not the cheapest at £11 but really fancied trying a new takeaway and this appealed to me. Tandori chicken was lovely however they bulked it out with giant tomatoes and peppers which were also red so at first glance it was lovely but there was hardly any chicken in it and for the price I really wasn't happy. I paid for the large one too and it was more like a small or less than average really. Shame as the taste was quite nice, salad and garlic were good too. I also got a large chicken kebab and this was nice however I probably won't use again as I was expecting more from the £11 spicy chicken kebab.

Food was ready when i collected... i asked for naan bread well done and it was very soggy and pale The chips and onion bargis werent nice at all but the curry and rice couldnt fault it. However i did have to heat it up as wasnt hot. Wouldnt order again from here x

Was 35 minutes late from delivery time given, But the driver was lovely. Not to mention we Paid 21 for not a lot of food, was warm at best when it arrived. Kebab meat was disgusting, gritty and slimy with fat and korma pizza was slightly warm and greasy. so unfortunate as last time I got a chicken kebab and it was lovely. Will definitely be going back to biddick in the future. Such a shame as it’s local.
