Worst takeaway ever, ordered three different curries. They all turned out exactly the same, a poor curry type sauce with chicken pieces in, and loads of oil floating on the top. Absolute rubbish, we threw most of it away.

hiya food was great but unfortunately the driver was parked at other end of my street and after 10 messages to explain I could see him he finally pulled which would explain the food being cold ......I tried ringing the driver but he was deaf.....so after finally getting it like I said it was cold but heated it up and it tasted lovely .......shame about delivery

Waited 1:30hours for our order .When it arrived it was cold , then one of the sauces I ordered was missing (which cost £3 ) I called them they said they would knock it off next order . My husband ordered the lamb chops he couldn't eat them to salty . I need not say we won't be ordering here again ,money down the drain .

Where to start. 1st order from here an won’t be going back. Portion size: I thought I’d ordered a main course it came and was like something off the kids menu. Chips came in a paper bag you get quarter of wine gums in from the local corner shop. Again tiny which was disappointing for the price. On eating it the chicken madras was tasteless, more like a tomato soup with a bit of white pepper in. The chicken tikka pieces where tiny and rock hard, Really bad. Chips where greasy and I left most of them. In the end it was probably a good thing the portion size was small as anything larger and my 7 trips to the toilet in the night could have easily been double. Been rough as toast all night and even still today Stomach is like a washing machine. A leaky one at that. All in all a shocking experience and won’t be going back. This place needs closing down taking good money for horrendous food is just not on.

Used to be good but it’s poor now the owner n manager must have changed or chief it’s gone so bad I put it it bin oak ave.never again

Not been here for over a year, the food used to be the best bit think its been taken over. I ordered a take away tonight and it was cold watery and tasteless won't be ordering again there are better ones around.

Birthday in the family from the phone booking to leaving excellent service food was delicious! Highly recommend !

All Family had the Sunday Banquet, Perfect portion size, all meals were served hot and as menu stated. All plates, tables, nakins and cutlery were perfectly clean (Considering it's a curryhouse). Staff are great, not overbearing and pushy, they just want you to enjoy your meal and have a nice time. Atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxing and enticing.

Decided to come here for a meal to celebrate birthday, nice atmosphere and service was good. Food was very tasty only small criticism I have would be there is only a small amount of meat in some of the dishes. I would however return as food is good and staff welcoming.

Welcoming courteous and caring staff. Lovely atmosphere. Food really enjoyable, couldn't fault a thing. We will be back.

We ate here as a group of six. We all had poppadoms, starters, mains, drinks and sundries. The total bill was £180 which was fantastic value for the quality and amount of food we ate. Fully recommend the mixed kebab starter which was outstanding! All main courses were tasty and hot and the portion size was good. We came here on a recommendation and we will certainly be returning. The service was fabulous.

The food was really tasty and the portions were not over facing. Staff are friendly and helpful and the meal was good value. I definitely recommend a visit to Sheiks.

Big group visited. Meals were all much hotter than usual. Have rated highly before but food was very dissapointing.

Went on Saturday night. Seated quickly. The staff were polite and friendly. Service was good and the food was lovely.

Absolutely disgraceful-awful service, not enough plates, cold food, more cold food, no food...no apology! They blamed new staff, but you pay the same price!! Everyone around us had the same negative experience. DON’T GO HERE.

Go usually once a month with friends never ever been Disappointed can`t fault service is best of anywhere in the area the variety and quality of the dishes is excellent.

Arrived and seated straight away. Waiting 15 minute for them to come over to take food orders!.. Starters tuck 45 minutes!! Couple an the next table waited 1 hour but we complained.. staff have no urgency in them they stroll about. Actually rude when we asked for the main. Another 50 minutes before main came out!

We visited here for first time to give it a try on a Thursday evening. Decor modern and looks good.. despite being quiet we started to notice the mediocre slow service, empty glasses left on table, waited ages after starters for mains to arrive (an hour+). Our food was actually quite good, not the best around but nonetheless quite good.

Just appalling. Started badly when we waited for our drinks. Seemed to sort this out then brought us some poppadoms and the chutney tray. That was fine. We then waited an hour and twenty minutes for our main course. The unlucky table of 8 next to us were celebrating a birthday but they walked out after waiting so long. When the main course arrived, my husband was given a steak knife for his steak massala. The problem was he could only find 3 tiny strips of steak. They were hard on the outside, as was my chicken. Chapatis were like rubber. This place used to be brilliant but it has definitely taken a downward spiral. Avoid at all costs.

Forgot to review this place but me my boyfriend and my mum went for a meal at new year it was a set menu with excellent choice and reasonably priced, unlike a lot of other places on new year.

Came here on the 24th March 18. Brilliant service and food was amazing. Very clean and so is the bathrooms. Kids meals are great and English opition as my daughter doesn’t eat curry. Staff friendly and kind all very well dressed. It’s a beautiful place too a hidden gem would highly recommend this restaurant to any one.

We went as a family of 4- the food was tasty, but the meat was very sparing. We have been a good few times and this has not been the case. Hopefully with a few reviews regarding this, it will return to how it was a few months ago. We like eating here as it is walking distance for us.

Very good tasting food, very little meat, great Deco, poor staff, overall not a good experience, I had a mixed birriani, two very small pieces of beaf, one tinny piece of chicken three extremely small prawns,

Quality Indian food and good prices. The staff and restaurant are well presented and service is quick, accurate and happy! We'll definitely go here again-popular place.

Been here twice in the last few weeks with my wife, seating ranges from table for two upto larger tables, menu is a wide range of dishes, some children's and English dishes too for those who may not want this type of food. Drinks menu good too, and overall not to expensive. Staff friendly and quick service and food has been excellant on both occasions. A nice night out for a quite meal would recommend this for couples, family and larger groups.

I visited Sheiks (formally Spice Cottage) with my husband for an evening meal. We decided to eat out as I didn't feel like cooking and is nearby.

Really nice restaurant, relaxing ambience with attentive and friendly staff. Menu choice brilliant, not just your average curry. Really tasty, good use of spices, meats cooked to perfection. Worth a look at the specials menu. Would recommend to anyone who loves the authentic flavour of spices.

Welcome was warm to chilly. Shown to very small table for two and felt "Wedged in" being able to hear the entire conversation of our neighbours throughout their meal. Poppadoms and pickles etc. were quite nice and the food was tasty if a little short on quantity and lacked any sort of flourish. The dishes did not really match their menu descriptions. Totally ignored after main meal plates were cleared away and so, having watched the staff skillfully avoid our eyes, eventually went to the bar to pay the bill. Checked amount as our neighbours had been overcharged. No one person seemed to be in charge and all appeared to be operated randomly. Had to try but will only call again in an emergency, or it changes hands once more.

Out with my friend for dinner, has poppadoms which were very nice crispy and no fat on them. Starter lamb chops were gorgeous, had a very different curry to which I normally choose didn't like it . That was my choice. My friend said hers was really nice.

Waited for an hour for somebody to serve us and when we decided to leave the service was terrible. Have been before and the food was great and service good but this has not been a good experience at all could do with better staff

Nice little restaurant hidden of the main road and most of the food was really very good however one of our party said that her curry sauce was a little watery and thin other than than that it was really good!!

I've been to this restaurant a few times but this visit resulted in leaving a review. The food was cooked at the best quality, the decoration of the curries has the hint of the modern era. Secondly, the waiters were very welcoming as soon as we stepped into the premises and also very attentive.

My son decided to choose here as his reward for achieving gold in swimming. What can I say brilliant choice for exceptional quality. Plenty of choice on the menu everything we ordered was served lovely and hot and really tasted fantastic. Service again was perfect really brilliant staff and owner the best Indian restaurant in radcliffe by far. We will be back

I live local and been before when it was the Spice Cottage and it has always been good. They have now made it even better. The place has been given a facelift and it is welcoming and immaculately clean. Menu has been improved and new chef employed. Our food was lovely and the service / staff are friendly and attentive.
