Disgusting food! Need to be shut down

Worst food I have had in my life! The donner was rock hard and the naan bread was stale it wasn’t even fresh it was a pack one, the kebab was microwaved too. I will be reporting them to health and safety as well as trading standards

Went here instead of our usual as it was closed and now I have a dilemma of which one to go to every time we want a curry. Don’t usually leave reviews but this was wonderful

Order was late, the Nan was cold and not cooked as were the chips, curry was not great I wouldn’t order from here again there are much better places about disappointing

Delivery was on time and was all hot however, Chicken pakora and onion Bhajis were dry and burnt (seemed warmed up) ordered poppadoms but none delivered, jalfrezi was disappointing, overall not a good meal

Absolutely beautiful food, got king prawn chilli tikka masala and was very tasty. Food was still piping hot when I got home after collecting it. Defo worth giving this family run takeaway a go

Great kebabs from here. Combination kebab is delicious. Fish pakora is always cooked fresh and can take a bit of time but definitely worth it, very tasty and melts in your mouth! Staff always friendly and helpful. Great take away! I've been asked update my review but all of this still stands!

Nan bread looked and tasted like one purchased from the supermarket. The sauce on our Tikka masala didn’t taste right and ended up throwing it away.

Very fast delivery, an hour early. The rice portion is too small. Tikka masala curry was ok ish but I’ve had much better. Not enough spice or seasoning in the curry and the chicken wasn’t great quality. The chips were absolutely awful and soggy and not edible. This place has gone down hill from what it used to be

Rajah was always the best in bury Been going since a child but since Imran hasn’t been in it’s gone so down hill! Tonight was awful- hard donner meat, sauces were off & tasted vile, naan bread tasted stale, best bit was the salad. Wont be going again!

The food came in boxes crushed, like they had been sat on and also almost cold.. Really not good at all and wont ve ordering again !!

food was cold , had to reheat my curry when it arrived , chips were not cooked propely and delivery drive was absoutly disgraceful , very rude and inconsiderate. i would like a refund for my order after an awful experience

Both meals were rubbish, both curry's + nan were bland and tastless, had to throw them away, never again -- the last place we tried were very bad too, no one seems to bother whats being served and these things are not cheap. will not be ordering again better to make your own !! Very very disappointed and disgusted.

Ordered food and was given a thumbs up with 40 to 60 minute delivery time, after 45 minutes told it’s on the way , 90 minutes later still no food . Requested an eta and told 2.5 hours from ordering , had to cancel all plans as we was going out , so night completely ruined due to being fobbed off . Put in a request for a partial refund and was told no as they do sometimes get busy and this happens . Food finally arrived and was very far from the usual standard and it was obvious that it had been

Had to phone the place 3 times to ask where my order was. It arrived over 2 hours late! The rice was cold, chicken tikka was rubbery and lukewarm, the curry was also lukewarm. The naan bread wasn't even cooked properly and was still doughy in the middle. The only decent thing was the poppadoms. Ordered from here quite a lot, however after last night's experience I won't be ordering again.

First order and was highly recommended by friends. Can honestly say, wasn't dissapointed. won't be going anywhere else. Absolutely gorgeous. Meat was tender and the portions were massive.. Thank you.

I tryed a takeaway tonight for my tea I went for the chicken/garlic sizzler I was thinking it was normal chicken cooked in garlic and onions no mention of a nan bread on the menu are chicken tikka I ordered 2 chapptie to make my own wrappes when I received this wow loads and loads of onions chicken tikka in a medium sauce but was not mentioned on the menu abit miss leading if your not into medium/ hot sauce I separated the chicken from the onion family and just had that would be better if you explained on your menu what you get... the chicken was nice with some mayo no need to buy 2 chapptie this came on a nan not mentioned... the delivery guy was really nice and happy 😁👍

I often drive this way & have called in for a takeaway about 3 or 4 times a year for at least 15 years. The staff have always been friendly, polite & helpful & I can watch as my meal is being cooked. All freshly prepared. They are happy to go beyond the printed menu & the results are always special. Generous portions & reasonable prices. I'd go in more often if my waistline could take it! I've never used the delivery service so I can't comment on that.

Honestly, the best curry in Bury...so tasty 😋 and has great portions also. Never fails to deliver 🙌

Always been great food but not tonight

Lovely food, I had the chicken tikka masala with pilau rice and my son had a half pounder cheeseburger and we both really enjoyed our food. Delivery was on time.

Make sure you check every bite! Plastic piece the size of a pound coin found in my salad and nearly broke my tooth. The actual taste of the food was also nothing special. Definitely my first and last time ordering from here.

Been using Rajah's for years as my dad has been going since he was about 18 as well haha good people, delicious food. One bit of feedback, sometimes if 2 of you order the same curry - the portions seem to be small as I'm convinced 1 portion is sometimes split between 2. Other than that, tasty food and staff are friendly 👍

2* on customer service because they didn’t bring the cab of coke I ordered and paid for. I didn’t ring back for them to bring it but shouldn’t forget it in the first place!

Excellent food and service, an item was missed but delivered 10 minutes later before I even noticed, really impressed

Poor food quality, delivered very early, and by a driver that didn't know how a door buzzer works. When he finally worked out how to press a button he told me he'd been outside 15 mins. If true then that would mean food was cooked and delivered within 10 minutes, so that would be precooked and kept in a warmer, which would explain the poor quality

Nearly 4 hours late. I never mentioned it before as, after over 2 hours wait, I rang the restaurant to cancel yet they still sent the food eventually. The delivery driver was very apologetic when he arrived and, after me explaining I no longer wanted it, told me to keep it anyway and that it would be complimentary as it was entirely their fault. I've only just logged into my Pay Pal account and found to my dismay that I've been charged the full amount, even after being told that there would be no charge. I'm obviously not happy with this, I've used this particular take-away for over 30 years now and feel very disappointed especially as, up until this episode, I still used them on a regular basis, considering the owner to be a friend. I'm afraid that I won't be using them again after this.

Ordered food at 9pm and didn’t arrive until 10.30pm. Phoned takeaway 20 minutes before it arrived to be told it was 5 minutes away. Won’t be using this place again

Best donner kebab in Bury loved the samosas and the salad was a lot larger than I thought it would be and friendly delivery driver would highly recommend 10 out 10 for food and service.

Ordered from this takeaway for over 20years the last few month the food has gone down hill turning up cold and soggy ordered last night on just eat to pay cash paid the day after had a knock at door saying we haven’t paid they want there £20 back when he was paid cash why would he walk off without food being paid for and as for the threatening calls from staff that carnt listen and swearing at my child absolutely disgusting
