Worst curry I have ever had. Will never order from here again.

husband enjoyed his mixed kebab but my special curry was just ok wasn't bad but wasn't that good won't order from here again.

Pre-ordered, but still 30 minutes late. Food arrived cold. And the Lamb Tikka Massala was clearly a pre-prepared sauce, reheated. With tiny pieces of Lamb. Normally such a good from here. But not this time

I have been a loyal customer of Rajah for many years and have always thought it the best Indian takeaway in the area, but my meal today was very disappointing. My lamb was burnt and there was way too much ghee, which made it swimming in grease.

Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!! Made me and my partner ill within 30 minutes of eating our food. Would never in a million years recommend this place/ order again

Avoid at all costs... Made me and my partner both Ill. When I rung in to raise concerns was offered a discount on a future purchase and pretty much fobbed off. Do yourself a favor and order elsewhere.

Food was an hour late. I had to chase it twice. My partner ended up missing food because he had to leave for work. We deliberately ordered early in the day so it wouldn’t be late very very disappointed and then when it came it wasn’t tasty.

Arrived in 15 mins but pieces of chicken and shish were still cold in the centre so think they needed longer in the microwave ?

Food came from Bury to Radcliffe and it was still warm most places I’d have to warm up but I didn’t have to with this take away. Best curry house in Bury in our opinion.

The shish was hard & dry, edge of samosa hard, must have chosen the wrong curry’s, very bland!

Food hasn’t turned up so I can’t review. All I know is the delivery time is shocking. Definitely it ordering from here again

Fantastic food as always. Been using Rajah for over 25 years and the food is always fresh and tasty. My go to curry is Chicken Tikka Chilli Masalla...lovely and creamy but nice and spicy 🌶

Always get a cheeky kebab from here when we have had a few but the last kebab that we have had was like opening a tin of dog food i really don't know what as happened to rajah use to be banging back in the the day in my books gone from a five star to a two whats happened

The kebab arrived served on the bread , not separate as requested resulting in a soggy naan . It was also nearly cold as it was over 20 minutes late . The kebab itself was exceptional except for the fact the naan was soggy and the meat was cold

It’s been awhile but wow they have really improved their food and delivery time will be recommended to my friends

2hrs late and stone cold, food was very poor even when warmed up

Over an hour and a half delay from estimated order time. Rang twice for updates told it would be 15 mins each time. Food arrived eventually … stone cold ! Would not recommend.

Delivery time estimated for 7.40 - 8, arrived at 8.15 but it is snowing so completely understandable. Food was lovely as always, error with the order, got chips instead of 1 of the pilau rice ordered, but still had plenty & 2 complimentary poppadom

the mint sauce and salad were missing from the starter. the parathyroid was terrible not light and flaky^ very doughy and unpleasant and order was very late.

First time ordering from here on a promotional offer from Just Eat . Starter were tasty and hot as expected . Main was chicken chilli masala which was average in a like for like comparison with other local take aways. The chicken was slightly rubbery with an overly creamy watery sauce . This didn’t taste bad just more korma than massala which needed thickening up a little .

The food was disguising. Nearly everything was old. The hygiene and food quality was extremely poor.

40 minutes later than a very long initial delivery time. The food is appalling and the driver that eventually delivered drove like an idiot. I remember when Rajah used to be so good. Never again.

After waiting 90 minutes for food, getting a notification from just eat saying it was on its way to have to ring the restaurant 20 minutes later to find out what was happening food has arrived cold and ended up been binned. waste of money. tried ringing restaurant again and they're not answering. Won't be returning

I didn't get the poppadoms I ordered ,please re-enburse my bank account

This is my first order and I was really happy with the food it was toasty and spicy- even though the delivery was late it wasn’t an issue because we live quite remote so we’re not easy to find

I’m not sure what’s happened to this place but the quality has changed a lot since it came back up on JE. I found rubbery hard pieces in my chicken kebab which completely put me off eating here again. So disappointed

Food and delivery was really good only negative was the app said my food was being prepared but it was at my door so I wasn’t ready for the knock at the door.

Worst food I have had in my life! The donner was rock hard and the naan bread was stale it wasn’t even fresh it was a pack one, the kebab was microwaved too. I will be reporting them to health and safety as well as trading standards

Order was late, the Nan was cold and not cooked as were the chips, curry was not great I wouldn’t order from here again there are much better places about disappointing

Delivery was on time and was all hot however, Chicken pakora and onion Bhajis were dry and burnt (seemed warmed up) ordered poppadoms but none delivered, jalfrezi was disappointing, overall not a good meal

Absolutely beautiful food, got king prawn chilli tikka masala and was very tasty. Food was still piping hot when I got home after collecting it. Defo worth giving this family run takeaway a go

Great kebabs from here. Combination kebab is delicious. Fish pakora is always cooked fresh and can take a bit of time but definitely worth it, very tasty and melts in your mouth! Staff always friendly and helpful. Great take away! I've been asked update my review but all of this still stands!

Nan bread looked and tasted like one purchased from the supermarket. The sauce on our Tikka masala didn’t taste right and ended up throwing it away.

Very fast delivery, an hour early. The rice portion is too small. Tikka masala curry was ok ish but I’ve had much better. Not enough spice or seasoning in the curry and the chicken wasn’t great quality. The chips were absolutely awful and soggy and not edible. This place has gone down hill from what it used to be

Rajah was always the best in bury Been going since a child but since Imran hasn’t been in it’s gone so down hill! Tonight was awful- hard donner meat, sauces were off & tasted vile, naan bread tasted stale, best bit was the salad. Wont be going again!

Both meals were rubbish, both curry's + nan were bland and tastless, had to throw them away, never again -- the last place we tried were very bad too, no one seems to bother whats being served and these things are not cheap. will not be ordering again better to make your own !! Very very disappointed and disgusted.

Ordered food and was given a thumbs up with 40 to 60 minute delivery time, after 45 minutes told it’s on the way , 90 minutes later still no food . Requested an eta and told 2.5 hours from ordering , had to cancel all plans as we was going out , so night completely ruined due to being fobbed off . Put in a request for a partial refund and was told no as they do sometimes get busy and this happens . Had to phone the place 3 times to ask where my order was. It arrived over 2 hours late! The rice was cold, chicken tikka was rubbery and lukewarm, the curry was also lukewarm. The naan bread wasn't even cooked properly and was still doughy in the middle. The only decent thing was the poppadoms. Ordered from here quite a lot, however after last night's experience I won't be ordering again.

First order and was highly recommended by friends. Can honestly say, wasn't dissapointed. won't be going anywhere else. Absolutely gorgeous. Meat was tender and the portions were massive.. Thank you.
