Mogul & Yo Thai in Bury

DONT GO. VERY RUDE MANAGER with disgusting attitude. Ordered my food here when first opened on a Saturday. Said it would be 30-40 minute wait which I was okay with. Waited that time and once it had been 50 minutes I went and checked it was still coming. They looked confused and almost like they had forgotten my order… then went on to say it will be an extra 10-15 minutes. I waited that time again and it got to 20 minutes and I went and checked again, in which I was no longer hungry I had waited so long, and all my family I was with had had their mains and desserts already, so I simply asked for a refund instead. The manager was very rude with an attitude and then continued to shoo me away and said “WAIT five more minutes” in which I complained further saying no, I have waited an hour and forty already, the least you could do was take five minutes to give me a refund after leaving me waiting nearly two hours for food. The manager was not only rude to myself, but his other young staff members who worked for him, which I saw and watched while I stood my ground and waited for a refund. Appalling attitude and shocking customer service, whether the food would have been good or not i’ll never know, but the service and attitude from staff alone was disgraceful!

Absolutely disgusting business and behaviour from who I can only guess is the owner. We ordered a mixed kebab and we’re waiting for 1.5 hours , for us to then ask for our money to be told after waiting again for 15 minutes for this. Wait another 5 mins …Do not order from this disgusting place !!!! His attitude is appalling and the way he treats his staff and as well as customers is poor and disrespectful……

I understand that at places like Radcliffe market,food can arrive at different times but when an order for 3 people has been made in one transaction, for one main dish to be delayed by almost an hour isn't ok.Spoilt our evening and I wouldn't choose this outlet again. The rest of the food arrived patchily too.

Best Massamam curry ever. If the food all came out at the same time it would be 5 stars.

My partners food took nearly an hour to turn up... I ordered a pizza after him.. it was cooked given to me I ate mine my plate was cleared.. his still hadn't arrived. Very poor service.. don't bother trying to eat here. Excuse was cooking the chicken fresh.. for an hour?

Food took nearly an hour to arrive. 10 mins before we had been asked to leave the table. No warning given that it would take that long.. chef didn't seem that bothered. Don't bother here if you need to eat in a timely fashion.

Food is delicious. The wait time could be quite long (more than 30 mins) but it’s worth the wait!

Really slow service, rest of family had eaten and wanted to leave before mine had arrived and when it did only half the order came, cancelled and got a refund, maybe they need try taking on less orders than they can handle

Visited mogul this evening and had a chicken balti, nan bread and masala fries and oh my word it was the best meal I have eaten in a long long time. It was a long wait for food however when the food came it was truly worth the wait. I even took my time to go and thank the chef for the meal and to tell him how much I enjoyed it. We will be visiting again. Thank you for a lovely meal

I love Radcliffe Food Hall, great family atmosphere and a selection of different food stalls to keep the whole family happy. The Thai food is very good, never had a bad meal. The problem is the wait time. It states on the menu during peak times there could be a 40 minute wait. It reality it’s 1 hour 20 mins. By that time everyone else has eaten and you’re fed up. If you’re hungry pick on of the other stalls.

Ordered Thai green from here around 5 times now. Great heat and flavours! Should really try something else now but it's that good!

Definitely 10/10 We had a beautifully presented and very tasty meal. The starters, which were 😋 delicious. The main meals were superb, and the meat was exactly right, so succulent and tender. I would definitely recommend. Xx

Radcliffe market Hall is a great venue. Great choice of food, occasional live music, well stocked bar with friendly staff. Unfortunately Yo Thai service let's things down. Great food if you're willing to wait .... and I mean wait ... an hour last time I used them. Meant my friends had finished their food from other vendors way before mine came. I hope they can improve efficiency as the food is very good. I'm unlikely to order again as there is plenty of other choices and you get food quickly or are informed of wait times.

The market is a great place Great atmosphere but comming across this place at radcliffe market I was quite disappointed with mogul indian Street food as this and age you would have a menu with vegetarian food get ur act together it's not hard is it comments please

Waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food, which is just unacceptable considering how simple the order was. I was asked if we wanted rice or noodles when I ordered. Somebody approached it table twice during the 75 minutes, firstly to check the order (that they had obviously written down) and then came back later to ask if we wanted rice or noodles with the dishes! We ordered a side of spring rolls which turned up as a starter with no cutlery even though the rolls were scalding. Food, when it finally arrived, was tasty enough but did not justify the wait. Four of the meals were the same (sweet and sour chicken) and the other was salt and pepper chicken, which I can cook from scratch at home in around 20 minutes (making the sauce myself). We won't be returning.

Ordered our food at at 7.45. It was 10pm and I complained that we had not yet been served. Bar staff at Radcliffe Market were lovely and escalated our complaint. We were then told food would be served in 5 mins (market shuts at 10pm). I explained that I wasn't willing to pay. Ideally Mogul should have served and waivered cost due to the 2 hour wait but they were rude and didn't listen to the customer and neither did they apologise... they just said "we were busy" I advised that maybe next time they shouldn't take more orders than they could manage... I dont think they took this on board and therefore wouldn't trust that they wouldn't make the Same mistake again. I love radcliffe market and would visit again but I would never order from Mogul again. If customer service was better... perhaps I would. My advice to Mogul is to serve the food and don't charge the customer.. give them a voucher... or take out...then perhaps my review would be different. Customer service is terrible. Thank god Gordon Ramsey wasn't there! Ps... I'd give zero stars but I can't.

Food took nearly two hours to come then when it did the rice was cold. Poor communication from the cooks when asked how long it was going to be, when it did come, it wasn’t together and overall ruined the night, wouldn’t recommend when it’s busy as they can’t handle it.

The Thai Green Curry and rice was delicious, we also tried the Chilli and Basil Chicken along with salt and pepper chicken, all highly recommended. We will be back 😁

really bad service waiting well over 1hr. food turning up at diff times, no cutelry, ordering by phone seems stupid to me, and the place is dirty, the menus stick to your hands, will not be returning , a spoiled sat night family of 6. we all felt the same. shame really because when the food eventually turned up it was fine. out of 10 it gets a 2 from us all

Really well grilled kebabs with good spicing. Recommended.

Cant fault the Moghul they consistently produce excellent food, last night the lamb curry and mixed kebab were 5 star. See you soon

Came to Radcliffe market which in its own right is brilliant. Ate from Mogul and had the mixed kebab I have to say it was fantastic, tasty and delicious would recommend you try it.

We've long been fans of the food at Yo Thai and Mogal and we've missed them during lockdown. So we were delighted to hear that it was reopening this weekend and so just had to have some great food from them again, we were not disappointed. We decided not to eat in on this occasion but instead I went along to order and pick up some takeaway. I must say I was happy to see that the market was talking distancing seriously and if we had wanted to eat in I'm sure it would have been safe. The food was of the usual high standard I'm pleased to say and I would not hesitate in ordering takeaway again, though to be fair we might well eat in next time.

Food was nice when it finally arrived. Well when the starter finally arrived after an hour of waiting for some fried veg and spring rolls. Continued waiting for a further 20 mins before confronting them and it becoming apparent that they had completely forgotten about our main courses. Organisation needs work on this place. Would advise caution before ordering anything that actually needs cooking.

Bit late leaving this reviewing however attending a few weeks ago for lunch with a friend and have been dying to try the salt and pepper chicken added to the menu and it did not disappoint I cannot wait to come back and have this again. I have visited twice now and won't go to any other stall when I visit Radcliffe Market I am yet to try the curry which looks amazing photo attached Thank you for a lovely meal genorous portion for your money too lovely fresh cooking

Myself and my husband visited the radcliffe markets & thought we would try the Thai as we often travel to Manchester to our favourite thai. We can honestly say the food was outstanding, full of flavour & freshly made, Portion size was spot on, we will definitely be returning here. Thank you
