This place was one of our favourite holiday ‘finds’ after meandering along the long, beautiful road from Glenelg, not knowing what was at the end (our favourite past time). That was 8 years ago and we discovered the best home-made salmon quiche I’ve ever tasted set in tiny area of eclectic seating with the local fauna sitting at your feet, all set with a stunning backdrop. Everything about it felt home-made in its genuine sense- like a reward for travellers rather than a cafe. We felt we’d found the world’s best kept secret.. So we returned. All just as beautiful and the food just as delicious, just with a place to sit inside if the clouds let go. So glad Sheena’s is going strong.

A return visit after more than 15 years. After driving over the mountain to Glenelg you keep on driving and eventually reach Corran. We did just that many years ago and found a shed after following numerous 'nearly there' signs. A cuppa and a bowl of clootie dumpling and custard. It was delicious then but this time there has been an upgrade. There is now a small but perfectly formed tea room serving teas, coffees and light lunches with an eclectic array of paraphernalia (including the original recipe for Clootie Dumpling on the wall). We had tea and toasties but soup and cakes were also on offer. We wil be back but hopefully not after a 15 year wait.

Sheena’s tea hut is much more than a tea hut. Super food especially for the vegetarian but not just veggies. We had toasties and what toasties they are - properly cooked on the outside too. An amazing location so remote yet with such friendly staff and superb food and coffee. It’s worth the drive !

We enjoyed a lovely late lunch here on a grey and blustery day. We had the soup and half toastie - both were delicious - followed by some very generous slices of cake. The best coffee we’ve had in two weeks up in the highlands too, so good we had to have a second cup. Very friendly and relaxed service. Definitely recommend a trip out this way, the drive is pretty spectacular too.

The drive from Glenelg to little Corran is simply stunning - and the road stops there! Nowhere else to go. And at the end of Corran some friendly and enterprising women operate a lovely little cafe in what is basically a garden shed! Great fish and chips. Sheena's Tea Hut is located in tiny Corran, at the end of the road past Glenelg. It's well worth a detour - a beautiful drive to get there, a truly breath-taking setting, and delicious food. The menu is simple but absolutely top notch, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. There are several different places to eat, both inside and out. It's closed on Saturdays but open every other day of the week. A real gem!

Staff were excellent & food plentiful and tasty. Yummy Toasties served with homemade Chutney, Fish & Chips, Soups and lots of homemade cakes to choose from…Plenty of walks to be enjoyed around the area & dogs are made welcome with plenty of room out the back for them as well as a wee kiddies area. Tricky to find but follow ur nose and just do not turn back thinking you’ve missed it. Lol…defo be paying another visit when back this way again…5 Stars Ladies 🥰

Sheena’s tea hut is a special place. My family including five young adults ranging from 16 to 20, and a dog had the most special long lunch there. Recommendations for finding it would be to enter Corran into google maps and just keep going. It takes about 30 mins off the beaten track but you will find some insanely beautiful scenery and then Sheena’s hut. Totally idyllically located with an old fashioned charm, you will not be disappointed. Her food is to die for. We all had either toasties or soup. If carrot and coriander is on the menu- have it! My son had a taste of mine, and immediately had to have a bowl to dip his toastie in! Every mouthful was delicious. We sat on the outside veranda at the front of the hut and idled away a couple of hours drinking tea and eating cake. Will be a favourite memory for us all.

Things have changed but only for the better. There is more room now and a wider menu (but no red deer stag anymore). Service was great, the food was spot-on and the drinks. Its a wee bit tight inside but an enjoyable place to visit when exploring the area. Tea and coffee served in vintage, china cups. The decking under the tree gave shade from a hot sun and the breeze and comfy chair made it perfect. The menu has been revised and now includes chips as well as toasted sandwiches (the cheese and onion is particularly good!). The "hut" has been extended and redecorated and is a very pleasant place to sit or there are now tables outside if the weather is kind. This is a particularly beautiful place to visit and a good cuppa (or coffee) is a way to soak up the tranquility and beauty of Corran. You may, if you venture out on a walk, be accompanied by a bouncy Boxer called Willow who loves stones thrown for her to collect and which she returns for more of a game.

Having visited the tea hut for many years, we were quite amazed this week by the steep hike in prices. For 2 teas, a scone which was none too fresh, and a piece of dumpling, we were charged £9.50. Agree with the other reviews. This is an unlikely place to find at the end of the world. We felt welcomed and in the main enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the cost for the 2 of us. £200 for a snack, breakfast, plate of curry and a bunkhouse bed with no shower and a outside toilet seemed breathtaking expensive. To put this into perspective, we go to a nice hotel each year for a winter break, that's more than we pay per day at the hotel with vastly more civilized amenities. I do understand there are logistics involved at Cape wrath. However for an 'ordinary' local Scottish person I'd be looking to stay at sandwood bay and make a lunch trip to the cafe as I simply can't justify the cost/value. However, it is altogether improbably situated and a must experience if you are doing a long walk. Just be prepae your expectations.

We stayed at Taigh Ailean for our trip to Skye. We also had the opportunity to eat dinner there (Breakfast was included with our stay.) The dinner was so delicious! The view is lovely as you can see the loch from the windows of the bar. All the staff is fantastic and so friendly! I had a great dinner and I would describe it, but the menu changes to suit what is in season and available from the sea. Whatever you get, I guarantee it will be the best! Make sure you call ahead and get a reservation as it fills up quickly. I know that they also have live music, which would be great, but we didn't have any while we were there.
