My experience. The batter was crispy but was wringing with oil it’s not a good batter just because it’s crispy just means overcooking. The actual fish was grey no thick white flakes more like it had been run over by a steam roller. This is not traditional Fish & Chips this a fast food Alternative. Take out then the bin.

Absolutely love this fish and chip shop! The staff are always so friendly, the food exactly what you want from a fish bar!! I love their cod bites dipped in the mushy peas :) I have taken away and eaten in, and enjoyed both every time! Also taking away one cod bite for the road is such a fun snack! As a small person, the kids meal deal was a perfect light but cheeky dinner (pictured)!!!

Ordered scampi and chips, was robbed in broad daylight with some inferior cod nuggets. At least I hope they were cod. The chips were raw. Should have gone to McDonald's; at least they don't charge you for ketchup and provide service with a smile. It is evident from the photo that you are selling an inferior product and trying to pass it off as scampi, and charging the scampi rate. This is fraudulent misrepresentation - an untrue statement of fact causing a loss to the customer. Fear not, in light of the foregoing I shall not be returning.

Spent over £20 and dude wanted to charge for sauce. No forks provided. The fish was 80% batter, 20% fish. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend it.

Fish and chips. Massive portion. Do not get chips per person. One large portion would feed a family of 3. You don't go for the decor

Enormous portions of decent chips, well cooked cod in batter. Will go again. Still my favourite in East Sheen.

Ordered my take away for the first time. Kind and polite staff and food was very good but the Fish was too oily otherwise good.

Consistently the best chips in London. Hot, crispy, fluffy insides. Why all chippys are not like this i don’t know. Also there chicken wings are too good. Much better than KFC or greasy Sams.

Been twice now to give benefit of the doubt.....Chips as dry as hell (re fried in front of me so they then became overdone !) and fried chicken so bland, that it had no flavour what so ever....i really cant understand all these 5 stars flying around...2 stars at the very very most..sorry but i am being totally honest...

What a treat to eat fresh fish in Sheen! Together with the tasty chips, this made my post-lockdown autumn!

Went today for first time, never again. Ordered chips and cheese and carton of beans. Served up chips and cheese and then put it in microwave to melt cheese. All good yes, till i got to eat them chips were like leather like they had been cooked and cooked and cooked the whole lot went in bin very disappointed complete waste of a fiver

Excellent food very generous with there portions really to many chips for me but a lot better than not enough.

The worst fish experience that I had. The fish was oily , expensive they don't say you the fish coming without chips. Plus the driver was so rude. I never gonna order it again.

What can I say. A pleasant greeting. Fish a good size and cooked to perfection. More than adequate large chips which tastied scummy. Mushy peas served in a generous sized tub ( unlike many where your lucky if you get a spoonful), and all at a reasonable price. It's not the closest chippy to me, but if these standards keep up I'm more than happy to jump in the car and use them regularly. Thank you.

Hands down the best fish and chips around here. Note that they only take cash but you can order through deliveroo (at higher prices).

Ordered from Sheen Fish Bar on Deliveroo - Deliveroo driver accidentally gave us half of our order. Gave Sheen Fish Bar a call and they sent out a person with our order (and more!) in his own car and delivered it to us with no extra cost. Have ordered from Sheen Fish Bar and have never let us down at all. Food was top-quality as always and the restaurant is quite possibly the best takeaway place in the area. Brilliant as always!

Visited recently for the first time. Fish was cooked to order, therefore was very fish and hot. There's nothing worse than having fried fish which has sat on a hot counter foe a period. Was pleasantly surprised at the flavour and the cost. woll be visiting again.

We ordered fish and chips. They sent us ketchup which expired over six weeks ago. How can one trust the food from this place?

A real fish & chip shop that cooks fresh fish in a lovely batter and chips to match.The large cod is large & they have lovely spicy chicken wings well cooked and taste fantastic. Usual extras mushy peas, curry sauce, burgers, drinks etc. They do have limited seating in and outside. This is a one stop eating shop and one you will go back to again and again. Well done Sheen Fish Bar.

Friendly staff, quick service and absolutely tasty menu. In the area so far one of the best but maybe not just. Also, the prices are low and affordable. Can recommend it.

Basically if you want the best menu option you get the chicken wings and chips with a drink. The staff are very friendly and the wings are only about £3.50 if you buy in the shop. Great food. :)

I visited Sheen Fish Bar for the first time a few days ago. The fish and chips were delicious, and the service was very quick. The gentlemen behind the counter were kind and friendly. I had some leftovers, and the food was just as good the next day. I’m looking forward to returning soon.

Very clean and the staff are very friendly you can eat there or take away. The lovely thing about this fish bar is that they cook the fish infront of you and you only have to wait a few minutes and it tastes lovely worth waiting for.

Great fish and chips best in Sheen but busy Fri night

Delicious food and friendly staff, I just wish they could count to 5. Meal 2 that includes: 5 chicken wings, chips and 1 drink, it has been packed up more than once with only 3 chicken wings in it. Not a big deal, but it's not a nice surprise either when you unpack it.

Very friendly service, and exceptional fish and chips, and some of the best fried chicken I've ever eaten! Best thing about the food, is its all cooked in rapeseed oil, which as we know, is very low in saturated fats and is far healthier to cook with, as opposed to the regular oils/fats used in fish and chip restaurants. So, you don't feel so guilty eating fish and chips and fried chicken regularly ;) I highly recommend the place!
