I would like to raise a complaint regarding my recent experience with Deliveroo and the associated restaurant. I placed an order for delivery, but shortly after, I noticed that it had been changed to a pickup option. Within 10 seconds of noticing this, I contacted Deliveroo, only to be told that the order had already been prepared. The restaurant also claimed that they prepared the order within one minute. No food no service but I lost 39.97£ What is happening with customer service in the UK? Why is such a customer-unfriendly app allowed to operate, and why do restaurants feel they can take customers' money so unfairly?

What a find! We had the had the meal for 4 delivered to the house and it was amazing. Good portion sizes, super tasty, great flavours and all in boxes that didn’t leak and kept the food nice and hot. The family all had there favourite it the general consensus was the lamb kofta and the fattoush came out top, but to be honest it was was all top draw. Next time we will be asking for no chips as they are not needed. Well done and we will be ordering again. Update Jul 24 Decide to change it up a bit and go wild …. Well choose something else off the menu. For the past 48 hours I have been having flash backs to the most amazing Lamb Mandi dish. Full of flavour, delicate to the taste, the rice and sulatans and land combo … just amazing. They play a dirty trick on you! More than 1 person can eat in 1 sitting not quite for 2. BUT in hindsight I really didn’t want to share anyway. Top tip - Order sides of Tabbouleh and Taziki … raises it to another level and whatever you do not eat have for lunch the next day.

Absolutely terrible service. I went in and after waiting 10mins just to order, I asked for chips with mixed shawarma on top and the lady just took a big sigh and said they don’t do it, even though it’s on the menu. She then tried to charge me £13 for something completely different. Needless to say I won’t be returning to this place. It was very dirty and cramped inside. Such a shame because I had heard great things about this place.

I went there few weeks ago, Mixed BBQ and grilled chicken were tender and mouthwatering. Shawarma sandwiches (arabic) were tastey , juicy and delicious. Overall , worth the price , nice food .Seating area was not that big. I will definitely return again.

Saffron rice with lamb and gravy is just so perfect so much flavour and the lamb just falls straight off the bone.

Honestly one of the best food spots in Newcastle. The mixed grill is sensational! Tender, flavoursome and served on a bed of lavash and rice with fresh pickled vegetables and the best white sauce I’ve ever had. What more could you want? This is one of the few places that actually care about the food they’re making. If you haven’t tried yet then you’re missing out!!

Food is always quite good. Houmous is highly rated. The lentil soup is always one of my favourites but there was none 😱. I must say that their schwarma wraps are the best items on the menu and the best value for money !

Decided to pop in as I was walking past and I'm so glad that I did. I ordered Lamb Kafta with their amazing Vermicelli rice also the Batata Harra which is diced potatoes fried with garlic, coriander and chilli peppers. I was given a free small bowl of their Lentil soup and it was lovely. The whole meal was fantastic, going back tomorrow for a lunchtime wrap which I see is a lot of customers favourite. You have to eat here!

Great chicken shawarma wrap, toasted perfectly. I also had the falafel, and it was similarly great - crispy on the outside, but lovely and creamy inside, and served with a delicious tahini and some salad. The staff were really friendly too. I'll definitely be back.

The Lebanese Tabbouleh Salad is the one to go for as well as the hummus.

Excellent value, mixed grill always great, roasted veg that comes with the mixgrill is always excellent compliment and not an afterthought. Meat is always well cooked and tender.

10/10 large mixed grill have ordered this at least 10 times or so - shawarma is my favourite part of it, also includes lamb cubes, chicken cubes, lamb shish - if you know me you know I love my sauces - the 2 pots included (garlic & peri?) are exceptionally good

Well all I can say is 5 stars isnt enough! The food is AMAZING, so tasty, flavourful and great value for money.. And the customer service is the best ive ever recieved. Me and my boyfriend sat in to eat and they made us feel so welcome and were all so friendly.

Got a just Eat delivery from here... arrived on time, well packaged, and piping hot by friendly driver! I ordered the Large Mixed Grill, the chicken pieces were slightly dry, the kofta was beautiful and both shawarmas were delicious but the lamb pieces were evenmore fantastic, cooked perfectly and definetly tasting of the grill.. highly recomend! I also tried the Baklawa for the first time, kinda like sweet nutty pastry pieces, they were actually quite nice.. i couldnt eat many tho due to how sweet they were! All in all a nice meal, would defo order a lamb dish at some point in the future! I couldnt finnish it all as i was stuffed, quite easily dinner for 2 people 😁👍👌

I ordered the LARGE mixed grill. The portion size for the price tag of £23.99 is extremely pathetic. Its awfully shocking that they think that ITS a large. Complete cheapskates and a waste of money, total rip off!!! You get better value in every single restaurant in Newcastle or in the UK for that matter. The meat was swimming in a pool of oil too which was disgusting. I would 100% avoid at all costs. Disgraceful and will never be wasting my money here. I called to complain only to be told this is the size. Pathetic, just shameful!!

Finally we found a great place where we can get tasty, quality shawarma. Our food was so yummy and the portions was big. Service was friendly. Definitely will visit again.👍
