Another visit to this lovely cafe, always a friendly welcome. Enjoyed homemade quiche and hand cut chips with salad - scrummy. Also on offer a great range of homemade cakes at very reasonable prices.

Popped there couple months ago waiting for the car in the garage next to it. We ordered breakfast and coffee and all the food were lovely and very tasty can tell cooked with heart. Looked round the cafe and website we realised the cafe was opened for a memorable reason. Lovely food with vegan menu. Owners were nice and friendly with brillinat food and served with heart. High recommend with a heartfelt. Absolutely will go there again!

Pips Chips is a little gem. If you want really good quality traditional fish n chips, pies etc, or anything else off Pips great menu, you won’t be disappointed. We’re occasional visitors to Grimsby and always try to visit Pips, it’s just great. Lovely food including homemade gravy and sauces etc, we can’t praise them enough.

We have been here a few times before and everything was great, Since it has changed hands not so great. I ordered a large fish which was rather bland and the batter was soggy, My partner ordered a gluten free fish and chips which was also bland but the chips were nice. She asked if they had gluten free vinegar they said yes it's £1, She thought that was the price for the bottle when in fact the man said it was £1 for a squirt of vinegar because it's very expensive... So she said no thanks. £1 for a squirt of vinegar is absolutely disgusting. I looked online and can get a 315ml bottle of gluten free vinegar for £4.89 free delivery. Probably get more than 100 squirts from the bottle easily... All in all very bland fish with soft not crunchy batter, lots of skin on the fish, bland peas and extortionate gluten free vinegar price.. We will not be returning....

Christmas lunch at the Kingsway with three generations of the family . Quite a challenge to satisfy all tastes but this was achieved with no complaints . Warmly greeted on arrival with a most imaginative menu to suit all tastes including those who want more than traditional fare . The food and service were excellent . It was particularly noticeable that most of the staff were regulars which helped the service go like a well oiled machine . Clearly considerable thought went into the planning of the day , with the objective of ensuring all guests enjoyed the occasion . A most successful , memorable day , and for that ALL the Kingsway staff involved should be congratulated . Well done and thank you !
