Shakeaway in Southampton

What can I stay amazing time at shakeaway, the girl were happy and bubbly, rubie great at making my choice easier, as there is so much to tried, best after 8, norah and kit kat oreo ever, tayla absolute legend and welcoming, happy smile on her face, I can only stay there manager has done a great job in training them, will absolutely be coming back

Every time the staff messes up with orders and quality of drink changes each time. Ordered for mango shake and ended up with plain vanilla scoop taste. Last visit ordered Paula drink and was offered simple pineapple shake

The only good thing was the woman who served us, she was very friendly and professional and she was also apologetic about the very long wait we had to be served. The Green and Black's dark chocolate shake was awful, just tasted like vanilla with bits in. No chocolate flavour at all, unless I chewed the tiny bits in it (personally I don't like chewing a milkshake?!). I was hoping for a shake that actually tasted of chocolate, and despite this shake being considered a 'luxury' flavour, it was far from. We paid over £9 for 2 regular size shakes and it felt totally unjustified - for what we got, they were worth half of what we paid. Very disappointed. We did also have to wait a total of half an hour to be served and receive the drinks, which is OK as I could see they were busy, but if you are short on time then do not visit!

Un lugar que sirve los mejores batidos de la ciudad, no el mejor para el servicio sentado, pero definitivamente es bueno para llevar. Me encanta y no podría recomendarlo más.

Visitamos el 2 de julio con amigos. El servicio fue muy lento y siguieron hablando con una chica pelirroja que supongo que trabaja con ellos o simplemente los conoce personalmente por la forma en que hablaban mientras la dejaban usar sus baños. Estuvimos esperando en la cola durante 15 minutos mientras ella ni siquiera ordenaba nada y solo estábamos nosotros en la fila.

Milkshake was watery and not even blended properly, lumps at the bottom. The staff were so rude and more interested in talking amongst themselves than serving customers.

There is no fresh ingredient just sugar junk with more sugar and milk. there is nothing to it really.

The range of milkshakes is extensive but they are very poorly blended. My daughter ordered a Cadburys caramel milkshake but the drink was so poorly blended that it was a fairly flavourless milkshake with lumps of caramel chocolate left in the bottom of the cup at the end. The milkshakes are also quite expensive and poor value for money. The only good thing I can say about it is that the staff were friendly - just a shame they don't know how to make good milkshakes

They dont know how to make milk shakes. Really these people have never tried actual proper milk shake they just put any old junk and blend it to call it a milk shake.

I have been visiting Shakeaway on and off for years - remember it fondly from when it first opened in the Bargate centre. I now work in an office close to the Marlands Centre and find that Shakeaway is now conveniently located for a lunchtime treat. There is a very wide menu and it can be hard to choose which option to go with. My Winter favourite is the hot Ferraro Roche though. Summer favourite - Mint Aero. Crunchie is also a winner. Oooh, just thinking about these - I may need to pop in again next week!!

I've walked past this store many times and I've always been tempted! The only thing that was pulling me back was the price. It's not that bad, come to think of it, and tasting the milkshake I knew it was well worth the price! They have so many options to choose from...it was unbelievable! There was even a Harribo Starmix flavour, which sounded interesting to say the least! I went for the large cup and ordered Tolberone and Nutella, which was superb!! You can also have toppings on it, which I didn't go for, but there's a large variety of those to choose as well! All in all, it's a delicious treat to have when you're walking through the city! I recommend it to anyone, especially those with a sweet tooth!

I've been a fan of Shakeaway for years. In fact, I even remember when it first moved into Southampton and was located in The Bargate shopping centre! Coming here for a milkshake was a regular occurrence growing up as a Southampton teenager, and since moving back here 2 years ago I've since rediscovered my Shakeaway love! Since rediscovering where Shakeaway is now located in its new home in The Marlands! Favourites of mine are Daim, Butterscotch Malt and Nutella. But there are so many flavours to choose from. It's a real treat getting a shake to take out from here. One I limit myself to on special occasions these days since my teenage metabolism has long since deserted me!

Came across this place by accident , a very strange concept but seems to work . The problem is making a choice as there are so meny options to choose . Anyway good shake just took a while to be served .

Amazing milkshakes I'm having a Dave - Ferrero rocher & kinda Bueno topped with a flake and my partner Steven is having a Barbara - white chocolate kinda Bueno & marshmallow with white chocolate buttons on top

Don't have milkshakes very often but I went last week for a cherry bakewell fro-yo shake. The choice is ludicrously huge, the staff are nice and the prices are reasonable. Have been coming since the mid '90s when the shop was in the Bargates centre (now defunct) and they still run a loyalty scheme. Well well worth a visit.

Love this shake shop, definately one of the better ones around. I tried a 'Dave' whilst my son tried a snickers/baby Ruth combo and both are stunning.

Love these milkshakes more than I should. They have an unbelievable number of options from fruit, chocolate, sweets to biscuits. They do standard shakes with ice cream or you can choose frozen yoghurt or soya milk & soya ice cream if you are allergic to dairy. These days they have branched out & offer hot drinks (including hot shakes), fries & other goodies.

Love the mix and match milkshakes here. Staff are friendly. Well worth a visit if your passing the marlands. Fruit, sweets, chocolate and coffee. Should be something for everyone
