Ordered and waited for 1 hour. After that they said they given the order to someone else and they couldn't prepare again. Very bad customer service

This place is good as a fast food joint, but don't expect too much on the taste, though they have variety to offer, but taste buds won't tickle much.

This is one of my favourite place to eat (HALAL FOOD) while i lived at Portsmouth only 5mins walk from our home Once I had dinner with my kids and after few days my daughter told me that she didn't find her watch and the last time she remembered she wore when we had dinner at Shake and Grill - then we went there and they still kept the watch waiting for us to get it back. Ma shaa Allah Thank you so much 👍👍👍👍

Had a great meal delivered from Shake and Grill. Had the Gourmet Beef Burger and was pleasantly surprised at the tenderness of the beef. The burger was also a good size for the price. Almost on par with Umami Burger but not quite. A good burger for the price though. Also had 3 grilled piri-piri strips to test their inferno flavour sauce. Unfortunately, not as hot as I was expecting. They were a little tough too. Still tasty but not as hot as it should have been for a flavour called 'inferno', especially when there is another flavour called 'very hot'. Chips were crispy too, evenly seasoned, not overly seasoned with the peri-salt like a lot of places do. Decent portion size but not the biggest. Wedges were also good, very thick and a good flavour too. Conclusion: Not as good as Umami Street Food but close to it. Good if you're on a budget and trying to save a few quid. If you want the best, look to Merchant House or 7Bone.

We recently visited Shake and Grill with a party of 11, and I am thrilled to share our experience. Despite the size of our party, we received our food remarkably quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. Absolutely love this takeaway!! Been coming here for years. Tried all the other shake & grills and they are nothing compared to this one. The food is lush and the staff are lovely. I’m so picky and they always accommodate. Defo worth having a burger or chicken. And definitely get a portion of lemon and herb sauce as it’s the best sauce in existence, the other chains don’t make it the same

I am very disappointed with the service at this restaurant. My friend and I came for lunch and experienced extremely poor treatment from the staff. There was an Indian young man wearing a silver necklace who was particularly rude and unprofessional, spreading negativity and hate. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and needs to be addressed.

The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. It arrived very quick and the milkshakes were really yummy too.

Awful, ordered a milkshake with meal milkshake was half drunken when arrived food all squashed food smelt like smoke. Drink missing from another meal. Man on phone was so rude accusing us of lying.

The guys are super friendly. Food is very good. Shakes are fantastic. Roman is the manager and he is an amazing person. 👏 He went above and beyond for just an order!

We went with a group to eat and were not mistaken with the place! Having looked at the menu, we ordered a burger with a beef patty, took two portions of fries, which turned out to be simply gigantic and just right for four. The cutlets were fresh and grilled! Very appetizing buns, and on the table we added sauces to taste - mayonnaise, barbecue, ketchup. If only there were jalapeños here)))) But what surprised me was the hospitality of the establishment; we were given a compliment of chicken wings! In general, thank you for feeding us, everything was quickly prepared and very tasty! Will definitely visit again when we're in Portsmouth!

DO NOT order from here! I ordered a grilled chicken burger, I got the king size, got half way through it, bit into a new bit of chicken and it was raw! 🤢 I called up to complain and they were rude as anything! Didn’t even apologise, or refund me, just told me that it’s a different texture because it’s grilled and not in the oven like I’m some idiot. Terrible customer service! Do not recommend.

Is your menu delivery person incapable of reading! Why are they putting menus through my door when it clearly states no menu!. Your menus are thrown around Lonsdale Avenue and rosebery avenue on the corner! Do not deliver here! Especially when the houses states no menus. It is causing litter bc clearly the person isn’t delivering well!

The burger was about a quarter to a third of the size of the bun - I just paid for bread mostly. Rip off. My second photo was the bread removed - leaving only enough bread to cover the tiny Piece of chicken they gave me. I’ll never waste my money in there again.

I really like this place for Burgers given you can eat in and the quality of the meat is good, I just wish they'd use the more traditional bread bun like McDonalds for example than the one they currently use.

I used to really like this place but it has absolutely gone downhill in recent months. I found a plaster at the bottom of my milkshake (I didn’t notice it until I had almost finished my drink as there were clumps of Mars bar hiding it) which is absolutely disgusting. The manager on the phone then had a bit of an attitude saying that it was only the milkshake that was a problem, but he ended up refunding the whole order after I doubled down that the whole meal was ruined after finding the plaster. I am quite understanding of customer service roles but to be anything other than apologetic in this scenario (no one even apologised to me) is disgusting.

8 pounds for a "Large" milkshake? Bit over priced for a small shake no? It came cold though so thanks for that..had a choice to pay for extra "1 pound" so I tried it out... nothing extra there.. waste of money for cheap flavoured milk..

Staff was good. The food was better and atmosphere could be made better compared to the competitors. Second time, I had mango shake from here. It was as good as Scoops but almost half of its price. Worth trying

Took the family after visiting Portsmouth Beach in the afternoon. Nice restaurant, staff and customer service. Speedy food preparation soon after ordering at the counter. We all enjoyed the milkshakes, food quality and portions are great. Will definitely visit again with the family and would recommend eating-out here.

Absolutely delicious. I ordered 2 a company peri peri chicken hot tasty chicken crispy chips and big portions.

Ordered food from here via UberEats. The meal I ordered was meant to come with a drink but there was no option to select one so I called up asking if I could pick the drink. The lady on the phone said they don’t give a drink with the meal and did not seem bothered or apologetic at all about the false advertising. If I’m paying for all items advertised then I expect to receive them all. The food was not good at all, chicken burger was tasteless and processed, and the chicken strips were so bland.

Very reasonably priced, we all struggled to finish meals. My son ordered the steak unfortunately when first came out it was little to pink, mentioned staff were brilliant about it and instantly changed. And were really lovely about it.

Was a very lovely little place, super quick food as it came within 5-10 minutes of orfering (probably as we were on our own). 3 of us ordered, sirloin steak, whole chicken and a southern fried sweet chilli chicken burger meal. Nobody had any complaints, all 3 of us were very complimentary

Gave my partner a milkshake with nuts inside after she clearly stated she had a nut allergy. After being hospitalised and almost dying they offered us a food voucher and wouldn’t pay her missed income and are now ignoring lawyers.

First time ordering from here before, can't say the experience was a good one. When food got delivered, the driver knocked so hard on the glass window we thought he was going to smash it with his ring. He then handed over food and said he had forgotten our two Dr Peppers, which was fine said he was going to come back with them. I ordered the chicken wrap meal and it was completely soggy and dripping with mayonnaise I found it hard to eat let alone enjoy it. We also got the wrong milkshake and phoned up stating this and the guy on the phone said he would sort it for us. Delivery driver later came back and gave us two cokes and a Dr Pepper but no milkshake? However partners Mexican wrap was nice and chips were good. Just a little bit disappointed with all the mistakes and the soggy mess of a wrap I had.

We have just moved here from the isle of wight and my god does this place deliver ! Amazing standard food and amazing standard portions ! Definitely going to be using these guys again ☺️ my daughter and I loved the milkshakes too

Visited Shake & Grill lszt night with friends to grab some takeaway. I'm a vegetarian and wanted to know if they cook their chips separately to meat. After some long-winded conversation with two staff members, a man tells me that the chips aren't fried in with any chicken. Just chicken nuggets. Yep, that's still chicken. 🤦‍♀️ They kept asking if I'm Vegan, which I responded no, just vegetarian but I'm happy to have Vegan food of course. So we go through all the options on the menu. There's a huge 'plant based' section and lots of items throughout the menu that's are marked a green 'V', indicating they're suitable for vegetarian. Digging deeper, the Halloumi Burger (with a green 'V' next to it) is cooked on the same grill as the meat. The Sweet Potato Fries that appear on the plant based section are fried in the same fryer as the chicken nuggets. There must be at least 20 items that are ''V or 'VE', all of which bar one (a plant based burger, which I assume is microwaved) are cooked either on the same grill as the meat or in the same fryer as meat and they have absolutely no means or intention of cooking it any other way. I left completely deflated without anything and instead went to the Co-Op. My friend who is evidently not as much of a fussy, annoying d***head as me did get a chicken wrap. She's messaged this morning to say it's rather disagreed with her and that she can't get the smell of it off her hands. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to claim food is suitable either for V or VE and not actually have practices in place that mean they are indeed suitable. I can't imagine what this means for people with allergens. Absolutely unhelpful company who you definitely avoid unless you appreciate not having any idea how your food is cooked.

Food use to be tasty before,but this time was completely disappointed,I have ordered Chicken Wrap Meal, it was completely disastrous, the chicken wrap was dripping from watery Mayonnaise! That’s very shameful to mix water and mayonnaise !

Firstly I went there and the person at the till was very rude and made me feel unwelcomed to the restaurant. After ordering and waiting for my order they tried charging me extra. Then when it came to bringing out the food they brang out half of our orders and the other half 40 minutes later after asking them where our order is. And the other worker was laughing when i said it sure let don’t take that long when it comes to making the food Towards the end my sister couldn’t finish the food so i asked for a container and they charging my £1 for a container which is ridiculous. Honestly don’t recommend this place the worst service ever for

Been going to this place for the past 2 years, never experienced the bad service I’ve received today. The women who served us seemed new, she was very rude and moody, made us feel unwelcomed. Also, charging prices on containers to take away the rest of the food when it’s never been put in place previously, very stupid. Honestly, the customer service was very bad, the places isn’t how it use to be. Immature workers!

I always get the same 2 burgers and a shake everytime and I always get my fill. Only problem is sometimes my big burger doesn't have three patties and just 1 which I rate the 5 stars for. Amazing guys working in there

First time I ordered and will be the last I ask to not put spicy on my burger and the rest of the order and was absolutely terrible I will not order again. I did ask if is any chance to not have spicy on any of the food and the answer was ‘yes yes will not be spicy at all. Is not nice when you pay £40 to not be able to eat.

Had our 1st experience of Shake and Grill Paulsgrove tonight, (delivered) and I must say we were not disappointed. The burgers were very tasty and huge, I could not even finish mine and not a lot beats me. The fries we really nice, crispy, hot and plenty of them. We will definitely use again and would recommend.

We had burgers and quantity was good but quality wasn't. No taste and no sauces in the burgers.

I came with family and the food was pretty good. My wife and kids enjoyed the food and we will most likely come here again.
