Thay are taking too much time,only I order 1 parcel chhana or 6 purris,thay taken 45 mint to pack it,mybe less staff,and I asked to reception parson you r talking too much time he said yes in a one parcal taking 35 to 40 mint time,soo if you all have free time please go and enjoy

One of the best breakfast provided at a very reasonable good prices, the food was tasty and had a good blend of Pakistani spices, highly recommended!

I ordered lamb biryani but it was not fresh, It looked like it was made a few days ago and shipped just warmed up and had no flavor at all. 😞

All was good. Howeve, they did not send 2 desi chai’s and no refund is given by Just Eat neither

Firstly came in onmy cause all the over restaurants where closed . The employees where kinda emotionless and not the kindest. The Food isn't it kinda lacking flavour the portions are alright doh it also takes so long for the food to be ready I had to wait a solid 40 -50 minutes

So, I had halwa puri for breakfast, and it was bomb. But the portion of chickpeas was like, super tiny. On the other hand, the allu paratha was on point, nice and fresh. And also they have delicious Naan.

Wow wow wow, that was incredible. I have had alot of curry in many countries and places but this is by far the best. No i was not paid to say this. Flavor of food is incredible. Meat was tender. Friendly service. This is a must for people looking for place to have curry.

My son had a burger from here they won’t wearing gloves when cooking heard alot off coughing and my son had food poisoning which I wouldn’t recommend anyone.

Recently I ordered a food from this restaurant but first they said they don’t have item which i ordered , said you need to cancel a order , i ordered a food from just eat , tired to cancel a order but just eat can’t refund my money back because they already started preparing my order , than they ring me back said if they have one or two portion left , at the end they send all items which I ordered but eventually the food was not from their shop , i was their permanent customer i know the taste and everything before their service was outstanding but now 1 star

Near to home cooked food. Yummy samosas and pani puri. Chicken biryaani is ok as well.

This place is good in this area because you don't have any other option .. Taste 5/10 Ambient 7/10 Delivery option is worst sometimes if they don't have the required product they will send you anything..even they Don't try to call you and Don't give you the refund....so before order call them...

Are you missing your desi vibe being here in UK? This might be the place just to give you that desi breakfast you are craving. Atleast for me it was not that bad. Another thing, they open at 09:30am and roughly serving starts at 10:00am.... you might need to wait if you go early.

Have eaten from this place several times. Food is really good no doubt but this time order missing items … I haven’t heard bck from just eat as well regarding a proper solution to this.

The taste and quality of the food is amazing tasty and fresh.We ordered karahi which was brilliant and freshly made popadoms. Naan bread wasn't good they need to change the dough recipe. Average sitting , parking can be difficult to find.They serve fresh on order Asian tea as well.

Brought some paye and some mutton curry for sehri as a take out come home to taste and actually was really disappointing and disgusting the paye were tasteless it was like eating some bland paye soup, also mutton curry absolutley nasty no spices bland runny horrible curry.

Been 2 years since I have been ordering from their shop. They were good before however, recently they are just increasing the price and on the other hand, food quality is shockingly low and bad. Yesterday I ordered this Keema Karaile and this is what I have found inside the food. It makes me vomit and sick. I feel like they’re just robbing people hard hard-earned money and have no respect whatsoever for Customer care. This needs to go to the Council. They don’t deserve to run a shop where people might get killed due to food safety issues.

Best authentic Pakistani food I have had in Nottingham, super delicious and nice portions reminds me of my mums cooking I love it!

Looks like a family run restaurant. The food freshly prepared and taste authentic. Excellent service and reasonably priced. Highly recommended

I recently traveled from Newcastle to Nottingham and had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant . The flavors were exquisite, and the variety of dishes offered showcased the richness of desi cuisine specially paya with partha “Offo” 🤤 🫡 was so delicious and the prices for the every dish was worth full. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. The journey from Newcastle was undoubtedly worth it for this exceptional culinary adventure.

EDIT: my first review is below. I went back to this place, big regret. I purchased a beef curry and there was a single piece of meat and a bone. It was a ridicule of the paying customer. I didn’t complain, I ate and promised never to return. OLD REVIEW: Service: Adequate but inattentive. Cleanliness: The restaurant was clean and very tidy. Atmosphere: We went in for breakfast and the restaurant was busy but not too busy. I like the fact it’s quiet and loud music is not being played. Food: Ordered aloo gosht with paratha and desi tea. Also ordered a biryani. There was a delay in the food arriving but the food was tasty and authentic. One thing to improve: the breakfast menu was crumpled and sticky - these should be replaced and kept clean. Will definitely come back soon!

Food was decent came home to find nearly empty boxes only 3 spoons of halwa in the box and channei usually full was empty.. always check your food before leaving.

Amazing food. Proper Karachi style halwa poori and the toilets were squeaky clean. It's so clear that you don't even go to the mosque.

Horrible customer service. I called them and place the order for eat in and person on the phone said come in 30 minutes. When we arrive there he said it takes 30 more minutes. I said to him I had an appointment in 30 minutes and he said you can go. He said they can't cook before person come in if you placed over the phone. Horrible customer service and rude staff.

We had always been to shah jee for their hood food and fresh food but today the experience was horrible.. the guy at their reception was too rude and he doesn't know the basic etiquettes of dealing with customers. We placed an order 30 mins before coming and we were waiting for food to get ready outside the shop that when it will get ready we will go insid3 and have our food ready on table as we having appointments after that. The guy at reception said to us okay come on 30 mins and food will be ready when we went the food was not ready and he said oh we don't make food until unless the customer don't arrive. I said to him that u can tell that to us on phone as well before but u didn't so we could come accordingly. But he started misbehaving and said that if u want food then sit otherwise go. That's what a customer service should be? Pathetic We ended up having no food.

Ordered food few times via Deliveroo. Real desi Pakistani heart warming food. Loved began aloo, daal tarka, palak paneer, aloo parata, moli paratha, kheer and kajar ka halwa. For real Pakistani taste, this is the place. Big yes from Nottingham business centre desi’s.

The place is over-priced as the portions of food being served are shockingly small. Even the quality of the food was below par and we all suffered from acidity later.

Homely, authentic Pakistani food. Nihari was so good as was the aloo parata and the keema. Hot piping paratas and Puri's were delicious. All washed down with desi chai...what could be better? Will definitely come back if passing by.

Be careful about the prices. A lot of hidden charges.

Food is good but again wrong item delivered. Instead of Bihari kebab boti, seekh kebab has been delivered. Hence the two stars otherwise very good taste and quality.

Very disappointed. Came with family and had to leave within minutes as staff member very rude. Took issue with me addressing her as aunty. I politely asked "Auntie where is the bathroom". She took offence at auntie. I'm sorry but no matter what you do to look younger your age will show. I out of respect addressed as auntie. Will not be coming back. Auntie should sort out her insecurities. Never been in a situation in which someone has started an argument with another person who addressed respectfully. Now i am wondering if would have been better to just call her by her name but its not in my nature to address elders with their names. When we were trying to explain our intentions of how we address elders and did not mean offence, she thought we were attacking her dress sense.

Delicious food, thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything is freshly prepared and has homemade flavours. The chaats, as you can see from the photos, tasted yummy. Friendly people and good atmosphere. The menu is excellent with a variety of foods on offer. They also do Punjabi breakfast, which I heard is quite popular.

I've been to shahjees for many many years and so does all my family they ate really really great with food but after today they lost millions of stars I went in with my family and the staff was absolutely discusting rude payed no attention to us when we was calling her and when to ask her for dessert and questioning about the menu she decided to get angry on myself and family so we asked for the bill and walk out I will NEVER OR MY FAMILY WILL CONE HEAR AGAIN DISCUSTING SERVICE!!!!!

The food taste for a desi family was way below expectations. The amount charged for the breakfast deals versus the taste is not up-to the mark. On top of that, the staff was rude when we were asking a basic question of a deal and the serving it can provide. Such simple questions is a customer right to know. I happened to go there Today for the dinner with kids but the lady on the reception kept on talking to a food vendor for half an hour and even then didn’t let other staff to take the order which is quite rude and shows definitely an ATITUDE PROBABLEM. Kids got impatient and we had to leave and go to another restaurant for have the meal. The restaurant may have good food BUT The counter staff is neither customer friendly nor friendly at all.

This place is an absolute hidden gem!! Some of the best Indian/pakistani food I've ever had. Highly recommend the Nehari and paratha it's 12/10! Really friendly and welcoming

I ordered a "Shahjee's Tawa for 2" item. On "Shahjees restaurant' page the item states that it comes with a number of items however=when the food arrived the following items were missing: Seekh Kebab, Masala Fish, Chicken Tikka, Lamb Chops, Naan Bread. I have attempted to contact the store but i have no response to this matter.

100% Highly recommended. This is the 1st time order from this place. Will order again from them asap. I love the food. I am not Asian but I extremely love Asian food. This place of the BEST in nottingham. This place is the boommm! The food is so delicious, better than any expensive restaurant. The food comes hot, and I love the way they pack the biryanis so perfect looks so professional and clean. Portion is also good. I don't expect this place going to serve nice food because, normally takeaways takeaways always turn me down. But this place food is amazing. I definitely will order from them again soon or in the future. I love the aloo partha perfectly cook. The peswari naan yummy is yummy yummy for my tummy. I love this place food. The food was amazing. Loved the Sindhi biriyani and katori chat. It felt as if I was back in my homeland. Pricing is very affordable and the overall ambience is very soothing to the soul and the Mango lassi was just heaven.

I was disappointed, the Prawn Karahi curry I ordered was around £16.50, but I received half a plastic tub of prawn curry, my argument is why advertise it as a Karahi when it's not, it might be a genuine mistake on site, but I spoke to a lady who understoodd what I'm saying and offered a chicken curry as they had no more prawn curry, Usually they are fantastic, but a sour experience on this occasion, but I will try again in future. As I believe it was a mistake.

It was yummy! But it was a little bit cold in there. Will go there again :)

Mashallah it’s been ages since I have had Food at par to Home cooked . Iam well impressed with the quality, slightly smaller portions but not complaining. Lovely breakfast feast family loved it.

Biryani was literally stale, I asked for yogurt and salad which is standard with biryani but was not given this. The seek kebab were burnt and chicken wings were undercooked. The curry looked decent but it was mostly covered in oil and hardly any chicken. We were not able to eat any of the food just the naans were decent enough to eat. really disappointed as this was our first time ordering we were expecting good food. it's a shame.

Had bunch with family on Sunday. Their Halwa Puri and Chanay were extremely light and tasty. The Haleem was to die for. I am not a haleem fan but it was so good even I couldn’t stay away. The Chicken Karahi was on point. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and cooperative. Highly Recommended!

2 pieces of small chicken in my biriyani and king prawns aren’t king they are normal size. I was very disappointed and the food wasn’t tasty.

First time I have been scammed while ordering food missing items called restaurant and was told it was Sunday and they had run out of items on my order no nan bread no chops no sheekh kebab replaced with 1 chicken drumstick. Food was not fresh AVOID THIS PLACE.
