Shahidas in Bracknell Forest

We have just finished our takeaway from Shahida & it was the best we’ve had in a long time .The food was hot,tender ,flavourful & plentiful & didn’t break the bank!We were told it would be about 45 minutes,then received a phone call to say would we mind if it was earlier! Brilliant.Definitely recommending to friends & family. Well done Shahidas.

Been using Shahidas since 1998 when I moved to Bracknell. From time to time I do try alternative places but they are never as good as this place. The customer service is also exceptional and I am always recognised and made to feel welcome. The meat is always good quality and not cheap cuts like some rivals! Give them a go - you won't be disappointed.

6th time ordering from Shahidas. Superb food, my wife and son love it too. Chicken Naga was spicy! As it should be. The chicken in all dishes is tender and there is a lot of it! Great naan and the Chana masala and sag aloo are banging. Always comes in time and every delivery driving is great. And NO DELIVERY SERVICE RIP OFF prices!!! Love it…. Will be back soon.

This really is a hidden gem of a restaurant , the food from this place is the best I have ever had. :) long May it continue.

Got a takeaway for my birthday on Sunday night. Pre - ordered for the food to be delivered at 6:15pm. When the food arrived it was all Luke warm, lots of sauce and not much meat in the lamb dishes and all of the dishes were extremely oily. Would not reorder

This is a local take away. Tried to order again on line Order was accepted but nothing was confirmed. It’s been an hour now so guess they are not interested.

Brilliant hidden gem of an Indian Takeaway. Shahidas was recommended to me by a work colleague and wow they were right. Great choice of food with excellent service, they are more than happy to describe different dishes or suggest new ones to try.

Another fantastic meal had on Saturday night. Food was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. Wine was yummy too!!

Having been brought up in West London, I have high expectations when it comes to Indian food. I’ve been ordering takeaways from Shahidas for about 2 years, and I can honestly say I’ve not had a bad experience yet. Food is always amazingly tasty, good price, and it’s consistent!! It’s always good 👍 I have tried lots of other Indian takeaways in the area, but none of them get close 🤷🏻‍♂️

We ordered a takeaway for delivery via shahidas website for the first time, it was really easy, it estimated 60 - 70mins and was with us within half hr! The food was fresh and hot and absolutely delicious! We ordered the chicken biriyani and butter chicken which they added some more heat to as per my request which I added under notes on their site. Aswell as some accompaniments. The portions were a good size too!! Would definitely order from Shahidas again and would recommend. Thanks

Best Indian meal I've had in a long time, including restaurant meals. Chicken tikka was cooked to perfection, Chana massala is always my favourite and this was the best I've tasted. Food was ready for collection on time and piping hot.

Korma was very sweet Did not make the saag paneer properly and it tasted foul. Coconut milk in saag paneer yuck. I prefer saag paneer with tomatoes. Mint yoghurt did not taste nice.

Placed an order on line again this evening. No confirmation of collection time despite giving and asking for one. It is 2 hours later despite the order being accepted and an email confirmation being received. Very disappointing was a chance after a previous order which I was contacted about 24 hours later for delivery :( Let down again which is a shame as I hear the food is good.

The food is just so good. Always fresh tasting and well cooked. Been getting takeaway’s from here for a good while now and never been disappointed. Highly recommend giving them a try.

I read the reviews and decided to collect my order. Sadly we all found the food tasteless. ALL the food even the Bombay potatoes had no taste at all.The food was cooked fresh and was piping hot. I think I will stick to Saltan Bhalti

This is the first and last time we have used this restaurant. We decided to get a takeaway for my mum’s 60th birthday. We had to wait over 2 hours for our food to arrive, when I phoned up (after waiting an hour and a half) to enquire, there was no explanation or any apology, I was told the food would be with us within half an hour. Half an hour passed but they would then not answer the phone. It eventually arrived and was absolutely stone cold. I’d had to make something else for my daughter to eat in the meantime as it was so late, so our family celebration meal turned in to an absolute disaster. I would never use this place again and would not recommend it.

Honestly the WORST service I've ever experienced.I called and ordered our delivery, paid using card and was then told it was be 1hour 15 minutes delivery. I said that was way too long so asked for a refund and my husband would go and collect elsewhere. I was then told they would speed it through and would be with me within an hour. Cool. An hour passes, I call and it hasn't even left yet so I tell him its not ok considering I explained I didn't want to wait that long and we could have collected. Guy had an awful attitude, telling me I was lying and he never said he would put it through any faster.. insanity! It was me that ordered! I said I felt he was super sneaky still trying to take our money instead of letting me order elsewhere obviously fully knowing I would be waiting the full time. I asked for a refund with my food given the service and he said this would be out shortly. 20 minutes later a guy shows up at the door with just my money, NO FOOD! Is this an actual joke?! We call back and he continues to lie saying he said he wasnobky sending the money out. Just ridiculous. They were so rude and patronising the entire time, just avoid at all costs. Went back to our usual Shahi and they delivered within 25 minutes! Avoid, avoid, AVOID!

Used this takeaway for the first time tonight, food arrived hot nice and tasty big chunky onions and meat tender, only downside swimming in oil so I had to drain it off.

Ordered on line. No feedback on when the order is available for collection despite contacting.Have been charged for the food but did not receive it.Have had problems in the past with on line order’s. When received the food is great but won’t be using them again.

We have used this take away quite a few times but feel the quality has deteriorated and will not rush to use again. I think they are too busy item was wrong we had to collect as delivery time too long however we were told 35 mins and it took 60 mins. Lot s of drivers going in and out of kitchen. Curry tasted very watered down and wrong naan bread. Chick pea dish not up to standard. This is 2nd bad meal last time we complained and they offered 20% discount but did not honour this

Shahida is not only the best curry house in Bracknell it’s the best. I’m a curry addict from Portsmouth and this place dishes up the best curry I have had in 20 years. Staff are great and friendly. Even cooked a staff biryani with chicken aloo and chilli that was amazing. Dhansak and patia to die for and banging meat samosas. Keep it up lads and see you next week.

Just had a call from this number regarding our business Energy Account charges for one of our sites, appears they are diversifying their business interests? The gentleman was in fairness very polite but considering he was "calling from the Metering Department" he appeared to know very little about our business details and showed great interest in finding out more about us.

Waited for meal for 1hr and 40mins. Phoned to see where it was, hadn’t even prepared it. Finally turned up after 2 hours and it was inedible. Phoned back to complain and I was told the manager would ring me back. No one rang. Rang the next day and the manager pretended he couldn’t hear me on the phone. I rang back immediately and the call rang and rang. I called their second number and someone else answered who said the manager had stepped out on a delivery. Appalling service and rude. No need to behave in such a disrespectful manner when the fault was theirs.

An okay delivered takeaway with warm (not hot)food. Dishes were well portioned and flavoursome however the tender lamb strips in the passanda were tough and some pieces were inedible. Chicken dishes, korma and handi and lamb pathia were tender albeit overall the amount of meat was lacking in every dish, however the prices were very reasonable and therefore a compromise has to be made

Always excellent food, never had a bad meal. Prices very reasonable and huge selection of dishes. Definitely recommend.

Just had this amazing Indian meal delivered to myself and husband. It is absolutely delicious and I can honestly say its the best Indian meal I have ever eaten. Thank you so much Shahida's for this wonderful meal. We will only use you from now on.

Local shop that does some great food. Their starters such as tandoori chicken, kofte, lamb tikka all lovely, slightly salty but I was not complaining. The flavour was fantastic. Everything I have ordered from them has been great, i would highly recommend.

Had takeaway last night. I must say I haven't enjoyed an Indian meal so much EVER. The service was great and the lovely man on the phone was so polite and charming. That's what customer service is all about

Haber sido visitar la India por muchos años además de ser condescendiente restaurantes en Southall/Hayes, honestamente puedo decir que la comida de este establecimiento es tan bueno si no mejor! El personal es extremadamente servicial y cocinar su comida a su gusto. Un montón de especias o poco de especias, y el sistema en línea es magnífico! No puedo recomendar este restaurante lo suficiente.

Ordered some food as we we're staying over in bracknell for a few day's. Big mistake. We ordered seekh kebabs and a prawn balti. The kebabs we're awful no where near a decent standard. I asked the prawn Balti to be made without onions which...

Tried this takeaway a few times, the flavours good but all the dishes we tried today were lacking in chilli. Now chilli can easily be overdone and place the meal beyond ones comfort zone but a happy medium can be reached. The pricing is a tad high compared to others. The onion bhaji's were sad and squashed and not up to scratch. But the food flavours are right.

Have had takeaways from here for almost 20 years. Always fab. Staff are great too and very polite. Thoroughly recommended.

This is the ONLY place where we have curry. Over the past 10 years we have had curries from Shahida's and they always still come out on top even when we have had curries elsewhere across the country. Unfortunately we're moving to Devon and I'm not hopeful that we'll find any where to match. Great choice, taste, service and value. I have been getting my curries from Shahidas for over 15 years, and it dishes up the best Indian food in Bracknell.The chicken bhuna and chicken rezala are firm favorites! Slightly disappointing is that the lamb samosas now have a higher potato content than they used to (less meat, more filler), and curries to have more fresh tomato pieces (instead of extra meat), obviously this is cost saving, but not as good as the old days.Still, there's nothing to top it in the town.

We ordered last evening a tandoori chicken and mutter paneer with naan. Naan was ok...mutter paneer looked awkward and had a strange taste...tandoori chicken was only half cooked (meat on the bone had a rose-ish colour....we called to see what to do further... we were willing to return or show our dinner/ meal that it was as we were saying, but we were told just to call back the next day (that is today) and talk to the manager... and we did call today...and we were asked why we did not return the food straightaway?!?!?!?!?! and yesterday we were told something 100% different...and the guy we were talking to managed to say we were lying and twisting words in his mouth... is this a way to talk to your customers?? really??

Always use this restaurant, have eaten in and had take away. food always comes in good time and we have never had a bad meal.

Chanced upon this local place a couple of years ago. Very small inside. Menu is Nepalese based so is a little bit different from a standard Indian (they still do all the favourites as well).Food generally comes nice and quickly. Offers a good variety of spicy and non-spicy dishes for the whole family.

We have ordered takeaways from this Indian on several occasions and try to give it the benefit of the doubt as it is local , the food is always cold when it arrives , the Curry's are very runny and not much meat at all, very disappointing,ask for a change to be made on every occasion and they still ignore it . Will not be ordering from there again which is sad as we like to support our local shops
