Lovely people always so friendly, lovely food too!

I had delivery, so not sure about the atmosphere, but the pizza was very very nice, loaded with toppings, very pleasant surprise . Recommend!!!!

Refused to deal with allergen questions. Don’t comply to basic standards clearly!

New to the area food was quick for delivery and well priced and nice to eat

Absolute joke, ordered from here hundreds of times for years with no issues, tonight we ordered 2 pizzas, told 45 minutes as usual, 2 hours later and 4 phone calls on, no food. Told twice the driver was 5 mins away, then told he delivered to number 55 (doesn’t exist on our street) then told it was actually taken to number 5, (again doesn’t exist on our road, we are 54 where they have delivered to loads of times for years) Finally we just asked to cancel for a refund, the response was ‘ok we’ll refund you, bye’ Shame really, think we’ll be looking for a new local! An honest answer would have been nice!!

The food is normally nice tonight however the chicken was hard, and overcooked.. it looked dry and crispy, like it had been kept warm for ages. I would not serve food like that to anyone. Very disappointed 😞

Class food. Ordered on their website then went and collected. Hot, delicious, and service was top class. There’s a reason we keep going back and it’s not our closest takeaway either.

Tried ordering twice from here chicken and chips and both times they've rang me back to say they've ran out of chicken. Sorry but what type of place runs out of chicken and won't cook anymore? It's a takeaway!! Will not be spending money here again. Customer lost.

Honestly I don't usually have a doner kebab but since having one from here it's the only place I will have one, great service and food. Definitely one of my go to places!

Mozzarella dippers was the nicest I have ever tasted. Pizza was very nice however didn’t expect the jalapeños. The chicken wrap is to die for. Hash browns wasn’t great but the rest of the food makes up for it

It took a hour and half to bring my food and I only got a burger and chips and by the time I got my food it was stone cold and never mind forgetting sources

We absolutely love our food from here but recently things haven't been the same. BBQ pizza with BBQ sauce on top rather than the base on two occasions and the wrong burger sent this time. The food is great. Reading of notes and orders, not so much!

This is the quickest delivery to ever arrive at my house. Took only 20 minutes to come after ordering. Food is delicious,still warm and just amazing. Reasonable prices and good customer service.Really recommend this place 👍🏻.

Hit and miss nowadays. Once a favourite, now I've had too many mediocre offerings sadly to convince me to part with my cash now the prices have gone up & they don't do my regular order.

Very poor service. I spoke to staff on the phone as I had a missed call and was told that my delivery was outside but the address they said was my work place. I told them that it was meant to come to my home address so he said he was sending the driver to my address with it. 35 minutes later my food still hadn't arrived so i rang back again to be told that the driver was down my street and that he hadn't been to my work place with the order. I checked the food whilst on the phone to them, which was luke warm. The driver stated it wasn't cold but wasn't hot so they then told him to give me my money back rather than re doing my order (as promised if it was cold) as the driver said it wasn't cold so they think it's OK for me to pay good money for a luke warm pizza! I will never use this shop again!

Absolutely disgusted I placed an order for delivery at4.30 and it arrived at 18.15 for while trying to explain to the driver wear I live fulford so not a hard one to grasp the food is cold and after a complain about this I get told to go somewhere else next time disgusting attitude from the staff at the restaurant

Great tasty food and always delivered on time and hot. We order the doner kebab and the chicken tandoori kebab. Best I've tasted in Yorkshire so far. Big portions.

Ordered a couple of pizzas for collection, a chicken and sweet corn and just a standard margarita along with some cheesy chips and a couple drinks and everything was perfect! Even got a free garlic bread for spending over a certain amount! Staff were all really polite and helpful, will definitely be going back and recommending to others!

Lovely roadside take away and we had pizza for three of us piping hot fresh quick service too and parking outside too.

Yes! We ordered the spaghetti bolgnese with chips which was lovely! And a really nice doner kebab. 2 carrot cakes and Yes it was delicious food which arrived piping hot and really quick delivery. One of the best takeaways I have had in a while and great menu choices too

Ordered a Chicken Kebab. A Tomato garlic bread. Excellent food quality. Very tasty. I have eaten in a lot of takeaways in York at this is up there in the top, if not the best. Great service too.

Russian roulette. Loyal customer who can attest the food is really nice however, the chances of getting everything you order are slim. Food often arrives half cold. Took them over twenty minutes to send out the remaining parts of our order tonight at which point the food we did get was clap cold. Sent the food back with the driver and haven’t heard anything back. Customer service is shocking Will never use again. Sick of them mucking orders up and ruining what should be a treat…

This has been my worst experience with them yet. I ordered barbecue wing from them before and it came as actual barbecue wings. But for the past two nights it keeps coming as just wings. When I called to let them know that it wasn’t what I ordered he tried to tell me I had a bad night. Very bad customer service and worst service

Don't order food for delivery. It's hardly edible, greasy piles of cheap ingredients and it takes a very long time to arrive.

The pizza they serve is very tasty and made to a good quality. I had stopped ordering ages ago but decided to try them again.

First time we tried here. We live just outside of York. Delivered on time. Pizzas, jalapeno/cheese dippers, Torpedo Prawns and chips. Bottle of lovely Merlot and a free garlic pizza. Great food! Will definitely order from here again. 🙂

Good when done as asked but when you ask for sertain things like ketchup/mayo on chip as asked in notes then get plain chips once again not looking good guy's one more slip up i'm going else where!!!

Pidió una comida para llevar para la entrega, se le indicó 45 minutos para la entrega. Llegó una hora y media después fría como una piedra y no comestible. Cuando llamé para quejarme, me dijeron que nos darían un descuento la próxima vez, lo cual era inaceptable. Bajé a la tienda para concertar un reembolso y devolver la comida fría sin comer. El caballero fue extremadamente grosero de hecho, gritando y despotricando en mi cara mientras metía sus dedos en la comida devuelta.Tampoco se evidencia un distanciamiento social en la tienda o del conductor de la entrega.Entiendo que debido a la situación actual con covid, 19 personas están bajo presión, pero este fue un comportamiento inaceptable.

This place has become my regular, I have never been disappointed with the food. Good quality for a great price and an impressive amount of choice; the parms are particularly good. Lovely customer service too. I would definitely recommend Stg peppers

El conductor me pidió que le pagara y me devolvió el cambio más tarde cuando pasó, llamó a la comida para llevar y habló con alguien llamado Alli, supuestamente el gerente, quien pensó que estaba perfectamente bien que su conductor me diera mi cambio cuando pasara, Quiero decir realmente, ni una sola vez el gerente se disculpó u ofreció una alternativa, de hecho, fue bastante groseroVeamos si él es grosero con mi cara cuando pase la próxima semana o incluso si Alli es el gerente

We live in strensall and order from here as they go the extra few miles to deliver to us, we love there food and it always arrives hot much hotter than our local take aways. Fabulous fresh and tasty food thank you for delivering to us :)

Pedido desde aquí por primera vez esta noche, pero también será el último. Pensé en ir por el estofado de verduras "nuevo" (como se dice en el sitio web). Cuando se entregó, me decepcionó descubrir que dicho 'estofado' consistía en una carga de frijoles con algunos trozos muy asustados de cebolla y champiñones arrojados a una 'salsa' a base de tomate muy acuosa. Sintiendo que me habían estafado un poco y que había pagado más de 5 libras por básicamente un plato de frijoles, llamé por teléfono para decirles que no estaba contento con mi comida, no esperaba un reembolso y no lo hice. Mencione uno, solo para que un miembro del personal muy defensivo lo hable demasiado abruptamente y enumere repetidamente todos los ingredientes que entraron en el guiso y me habló como si fuera un niño. No volveré a ordenar desde aquí otra vez.

Delivery driver pressed wrong doorbell to my flat, recieved a phone call from the shop where I was told the driver would come back, waited another 20 minutes and nothing had arrived. rang the shop again to ask for a refund instead of getting cold food, was called a liar down the phone saying the driver had pressed my doorbell and it was my fault and I wasnt getting my refund and they would throw the food at my flats front doorstep and take a photo to prove it had been delivered. Went to the shop to ask for my refund where I was told I could either have the cold food or a 40% refund and no food. DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SCAM ARTISTS DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!

The delivery was alright but the food's pretty bad.

Didnt once look to see if my card had been accepted for the overpriced pizza i was about to be charged for.. because it was declined ha. But what a nice tasting pizza, i was quite impressed. I hadnt realised my card had been declined till i got back in my car and saw the txt from my bank. Lets just say, i could see dust in my rearview as i put my foot down and laughed.

We odered using app and the food came quickly. Puzza was very good. We had ham and pineapple. I had the stew. I was a little disapointed the chicken was not cooked in the sauce but rather added later. Other than that very nice.

I just had a new menu from them. There are so many option to choose, there are lots of new item on menu Decided to have new items ordered a pork shish kebab, lamb stew & southern spiral fries. All was delicious not expecting to be that good. Defo try and recommend this place

Always fresh food I have been a customer at Sgt peppers for the past 5 years and left always more than satisfied!

Have ordered one pizza and a burger. Was really delicious and came exactly at my time request. Will definitely be a regular from now on.

Not a local but was staying for a few nights in York and it got so late we just got a take away. Got the Chicken Kebab Special which was more of a deconstructed kebab in a box - sliced marianted meat, salad (but really tasty), a pitta bread and two generous dips. It was DELICIOUS. Went back a second night for the same again. Would recommend.

Super tasty excellent value for money and very friendly staff just the best in North Yorkshire.

Nice donna meat. Not too greasy and not left in a catering pot to dry out. This was freshly cut and went down a treat with the chilli sauce and the garlic mayo thing.

They do the best chicken dippers in York. Great hygiene rating too, and staff are always friendly. Been here loads of times, ordering online to pick up, and I've never had a problem with them.
