Burger King in York

For some reason this Burger King likes to place the refrigerator cold bottles of coke etc on top of the hot food, or the drinks are beneath the food. All of which makes the food cold and sometimes inedible. The past delivery was like this, I thought it was a mistake but it looks like this was a choice. It's awful 😖

Delivery person did not knock on door and just left the food outside on the doorstep which means it went cold but also anyone could have taken it. This means no code was requested

Had a great time, my belly is full. Every burger should come with peppercorn sauce. Only complaint, some weird woman kept talking to me and my girlfriend.

Very cold bottle of Coke Zero put in with food, cooling it down so it arrived cold. yuk!

The delivery was extremely late, missing an item, and they’d put the chips on the bottom, followed by all of the freezing drinks, then the burgers on top of the drinks, so absolutely EVERYTHING was freezing cold!

I ordered onion rings.. instead of that you served chicken nuggets

£15 for a burger, fries and Diet Coke. Opened the the bag and there are 10-15 fries in the box. 2/3 of the box for fries is empty. Tried to call them but they didn’t answer. I’ve taken a photo of the box. It’s ridiculous!!

not much bad to say but I ordered bacon with my chips and I didn't get it

Used to come here all the time because of the amazing freestyle machines. I have a disability that prevents me from drinking too much fizzy so having unlimited drinks with no bubbles really gave us a reason to come here. Sadly they're not stocking these machines anymore, so now it's just another super mid Burger King. Food quality highly dependant on time of day and which staff are on that shift, like most other places. Also our fries today were room temperature. Lame.

Ordered a delivery, wrong items delivered, different order numbers in same bag so obviously happened in store. Rang store and they wouldn't accept it was there fault and said I had to go through Just Eat as it was their delivery driver. Ice-cream packed with burgers so food cold and ice-cream melted, wrong tub too.

The burgers are absolutely amazing always taste so juicey and have lovely salad in them couldn't ask for better

I actually had a great experience at this restaurant today, I was served by a young guy who was super helpful and attentive, at one point I asked about wearing gloves to make food, Jacob told me if wasn't policy to wear them but he would wear them to make my meal, it turned out to actually be the best put together Burger I've ever had from Burger King! So staff Jacob gets 5 stars from my family & the food was quick, very hot and served perfectly, thank you Jacob 😊

speedy delivery and nice and hot

We went through the drive-thru and ordered two vegan royales, one with no mayo. Not only did we have to wait for ages, but when we got home we realised that the order was wrong. What we received was two royales with mayo but one without lettuce. Not only this, but there was hardly any lettuce on the one that had lettuce. I don't understand how they messed up such a simple order - it wasbl just two sandwiches and the labrll even said "no mayo" on it! Absolutely ridiculous to pay over £12 for them to get such a simple order wrong.

Ordered "Family Night-In" meal bundle for me mum and sister, our nuggets were missing but they still included the chilli dip for some reason?? So I had to share my whopper with my sis :/

Poor. Toilet hand dryer sensor not working. Only 2 out of 5 self service kiosks work. Waited 15mins to order, then no vegan options in stock, had to go elsewhere. Get your act together!

We were a party of 4 out of only 6 people in the restaurant yet somehow all of our food was stone cold. Like freezing. Clearly cooked hours ago and just left sitting there. Bread buns were stale

food cold due to cold drinks being in the bag. delivery time changed 4 times.

Missing chicken royal burger from meal. Just eat won't give any compensation or refund. They won't admit to anything been wrong with the order. It ruined our lunch having to share the nuggets between two people. Order was £35 absolutely ridiculous.

Missing a burger, no option to have it sent to us only an option for refund. Which is ok however to then re order the missing item would be another delivery and service charge

I've been to this Burger King location twice and both times it's been very good. The staff are friendly and proactive and the food is hot and tasty.

Food was very good. Freshly cooked for us at 11pm.

Manager Scott Wilkins was rude and confrontational when asked a simple question. Very poor customer service.

asked for classic coke, recieved coke zero without any notification, also asked for bottles to be kept separately from the food, bottles arrived in same bag as food, what's the point of leaving notes if they're ignored, BK is getting worse for customer service

standard food , person before me asked for mayo got given it free , i asked was told it was 30p , also lad with the beard need to wear a beard cover while in a food prep environment

Best staff out of all of the fast food restaurants, tip top service, food is always fresh hot and cooked to perfection.

Really disappointed, waited nearly an hour for our food to arrive and when it arrived it was cold and, missing one of the burgers and the other one was wrong. It amazes me how these people get orders wrong when they do the job every day!

Shocking was late coke and missing chilli bites

That's disgusting. Prepare the food with bare hands no gloves while doing other tasks and then touching food they used no protection while handling food. Food hazard on here !!!! STAY AWAY ! I have asked why does the Sheffield not use gloves as he was holding cheese in his hands like feeding the dogs 🤔 really in front of the kitchen ! Answer was simple.. we don't require gloves ! Really ? So why some wearing and some not ? Why not get all the sandwiches served just as is no need to be wrapped why dont just hand it over in a napkin customer will put them in their pocket ! . This is massive worry !!!

I get it especially the late hours I ordered at but it is the second time I've ordered a share box and you couldn't give me the chilli cheese bites which are the best thing in it

Food was cold and took a really long time.

All a bit too faceless and tasteless. Frustrating ordering machines that almost make you want to walk out, and I was given a cup to get my own drink but no instructions so took about five attempts to work out how to dispense liquid rather than throw ice at me ... Push the drink logo on the front that turns out to be a button. Why not label it "Dispense" rather than let people assume, like these things always have been for decades, it's the lever at the back of the cup? Food a bit dry and tasteless compared to Burger King norms.

Think transport cafe atmosphere with clean tables and very helpful staff. Beef burgers seem to have less cardboard in them than McDonalds and tastier too, but chicken burgers seem to have a lot more cardboard with poor flavour and texture. The chips were very good. The beeps and noise so prevalent in McDonalds "kitchens" was much quieter here. Not really child friendly since there was no special seating & nothing for them to do. Seems expensive.

Everything was so cold an just disappointing

Came again food was quickly served fresh and hot. Really enjoyed it.

I can't complain, everything was fine, calm vibe and warm burger. Oh, maybe there was one, there was no coke, but that wasn't really a problem for me either.

1st visit in years totally unplanned with family, whopper clap cold and part of grandchild's meal was missing,but, rectified pretty quickly,but kids said fries really good.

Ordered King Melt, nothing like the picture and not sure what was ‘King’ about it, the burger was about 8 cms in diameter and not sure where the melt part was as there was no cheese. Very disappointing.

Avoid this place if you want a clean place to eat. The food was cold, and when I returned it, I was met with disgust by a member of staff. When I went to the toilet, I was horrified by the conditions. Filthy is an understatement . Will never visit this place again.

I ordered a double whopper meal with the strawberry /raspberry Fanta slushy and it’s not even half full! Are you seriously joking right now? I paid well over £30 pound for this meal and my family’s I’m so shocked where’s the rest of the slushy if u don’t mind me asking?

Omg best beef burger I have had in a long time,

Hairs in the food when I took the order back to the manager he responded by saying he didnt make it and just stared at me so I left. I counted 7 members of staff not wearing hair nets with loose hair and the acual so called manager had a beard with no snood on as per regulation.

Ordered a double steak house, it came really burnt so I took it to the counter and asked for another. After 20 minutes of waiting I asked where it was and they’d completely forgotten, an honest mistake. The replacement came stone cold and was burnt just as the one before. The chips were fresh and decent though
