Burger King in York

Popped in for a burger, as not had one since the fire last year. Great service from.the very friendly assistant. food very good and tasty. Will be back. 👍

Best staff out of all of the fast food restaurants, tip top service, food is always fresh hot and cooked to perfection.

Royal veggie Was Abit expensive butt nice. Was trying to order off app Was on a special offer... Butt missed it... Opppppssss.

That's disgusting. Prepare the food with bare hands no gloves while doing other tasks and then touching food they used no protection while handling food. Food hazard on here !!!! STAY AWAY ! I have asked why does the Sheffield not use gloves as he was holding cheese in his hands like feeding the dogs 🤔 really in front of the kitchen ! Answer was simple.. we don't require gloves ! Really ? So why some wearing and some not ? Why not get all the sandwiches served just as is no need to be wrapped why dont just hand it over in a napkin customer will put them in their pocket ! . This is massive worry !!!

Staff are incredibly rude especially the small woman with blonde hair who I believe is the manager. Won't be coming back again

The order was all good however I somehow paid twice with two different cards because the first didn’t work so I tried the second but it took the money from both. Can I get a refund for one of the cards please. It was £74.18

Food was cold and half of it was missing was also late

Haven't had a burger king for ages and it was blaming lovely. I had chicken royale and hubby had the Angus burger both were fab. Service was good

I get it especially the late hours I ordered at but it is the second time I've ordered a share box and you couldn't give me the chilli cheese bites which are the best thing in it

Food was cold and took a really long time.

All a bit too faceless and tasteless. Frustrating ordering machines that almost make you want to walk out, and I was given a cup to get my own drink but no instructions so took about five attempts to work out how to dispense liquid rather than throw ice at me ... Push the drink logo on the front that turns out to be a button. Why not label it "Dispense" rather than let people assume, like these things always have been for decades, it's the lever at the back of the cup? Food a bit dry and tasteless compared to Burger King norms.

Think transport cafe atmosphere with clean tables and very helpful staff. Beef burgers seem to have less cardboard in them than McDonalds and tastier too, but chicken burgers seem to have a lot more cardboard with poor flavour and texture. The chips were very good. The beeps and noise so prevalent in McDonalds "kitchens" was much quieter here. Not really child friendly since there was no special seating & nothing for them to do. Seems expensive.

Everything was so cold an just disappointing

Came again food was quickly served fresh and hot. Really enjoyed it.

I can't complain, everything was fine, calm vibe and warm burger. Oh, maybe there was one, there was no coke, but that wasn't really a problem for me either.

standard food , person before me asked for mayo got given it free , i asked was told it was 30p , also lad with the beard need to wear a beard cover while in a good prep environment

1st visit in years totally unplanned with family, whopper clap cold and part of grandchild's meal was missing,but, rectified pretty quickly,but kids said fries really good.

Delivered on time & all the order was spot on

Ordered King Melt, nothing like the picture and not sure what was ‘King’ about it, the burger was about 8 cms in diameter and not sure where the melt part was as there was no cheese. Very disappointing.

Left the food outside on the fence didn’t realise until half an hour later

Avoid this place if you want a clean place to eat. The food was cold, and when I returned it, I was met with disgust by a member of staff. When I went to the toilet, I was horrified by the conditions. Filthy is an understatement . Will never visit this place again.

I ordered a double whopper meal with the strawberry /raspberry Fanta slushy and it’s not even half full! Are you seriously joking right now? I paid well over £30 pound for this meal and my family’s I’m so shocked where’s the rest of the slushy if u don’t mind me asking?

This is my second order which as had missed items how hard is it to bag everything into a bag

Omg best beef burger I have had in a long time,

Hairs in the food when I took the order back to the manager he responded by saying he didnt make it and just stared at me so I left. I counted 7 members of staff not wearing hair nets with loose hair and the acual so called manager had a beard with no snood on as per regulation.

Ordered a double steak house, it came really burnt so I took it to the counter and asked for another. After 20 minutes of waiting I asked where it was and they’d completely forgotten, an honest mistake. The replacement came stone cold and was burnt just as the one before. The chips were fresh and decent though

Ordered at 21.20, the time kept changing to longer and longer, in the end my husband had to drive to the store to pick it up when they tried to say it had been sent out to then say it was there, the food was ice cold. Will never order from here

Second time ordered in the space of a week, food clap cold and once again no straws for the drinks! Very annoying, won't be ordering again.

Paid extra for an extra patty which didn’t get in the burger and the chips weren’t cooked couldn’t eat them

One of the best BKs ive come across in uk. Good management. Clean. But looses a star for always having fewer options of drinks.

I do like BK, but charging 30p for BBQ sauce is pretty bad I think. Especially when it's not for the fries, but to put in a burger because it doesn't come with any sauce. The XL Bacon Double Cheeseburger is just too dry without some sauce.

the time for the arrival of the food was pushed back twice, when the food got here it was cold, the chips went straight in the bin, and there was items missing such as bacon from the royale and the chilli cheese bites

Everything arrived stone cold, the bacon burger was missing bacon and the whopper looked like it had been put together using a trebuchet (half the ingredients clearly missed the bun)

Burgers was good, we all love the fact we can have a refill here so please, a little lesson don't make us wait around with no drink while the food is prepared 😉

Very nice to see this re-open after the awful incident and it looks really nice inside. A Burger King is a Burger King so i wasn't expecting much- ordered a chicken royale meal which i luckily had an offer on otherwise it would have been close to £10, they forgot lettuce and mayo and my friend ordered 'bacon-loaded fries' which they forgot the bacon. A very bang average meal indeed. Only saving grace is the nicely decorated building

ordered a vegan royale, it wasn’t vegan when arrived, went to the store unhappy and got told it was vegan just in different wrapping. driving back home to get a phone call asking if i could go back so they could check if it was vegan or not. went back and got told they had nothing vegan and that none of their food is vegan or vegetarian due to everything being cooked in the same fryers. asked for a refund and got told to ring just eat which i’m still yet to do. manager was nice about it all.

I think Leah, Dylan, and Evie I believe their names are, were excellent with their service to customers. I'd recommend this place for good food and a good time.

Food tasted nice and service was fast and friendly. No issues with any of the food or service from this location. Well done to the drive thru staff as I've had bad experiences elsewhere in the past but this BK was really good.

a burger king with no burgers went today for a burger and no burgers only selling chips and drinks someone is due a telling off for not ordering more burger so did not order

Very disappointed with Clough Road Berger King in Hull. The Burgers for my wife and myself were cold, dry with tough tomatoes and hardly any mayo. The only saving grace was hot chips. No milk or sprite available

Closed 30 minutes early no sign or anything saying why. Just eat drivers arriving to the location to collect multiple orders, with staff inside ignoring them knocking on the door. Tried calling the location as well but the 'line was busy'

Nice staff, the food is amazing, I like how the bread is slightly more thin so it it’s easier consume and less filling. The toilets are high quality but there is a bad smell. Staff 8/10 Food 9/10 Toilets 6/10

So glad Burger King is back after the fire. Best fast food burgers by far.

Since this store has reopened its clearly been managed well, amazing food hot, and very helpful staff would recommend friends and family visiting this place

Dry bread, clearly the management needs to teach the young staff how to stock rotate and maybe a lesson on what bread should feel like. Burger King, Clifton Moore, you've let me down massively. It's absolutely shocking!

driver said my address was incomplete but I've checked my account and it's not so that was the downside.

Food was ok. A bit more expensive than McDonalds. It's all self-service ordering, so I have only given 3 stars for service. Atmosphere? There was nobody there!

Good was tepid on arrival (barely even slightly warm) and the large fries were definitely not large fries.

After this BK has reopened the management have clearly organized it very well. The restaurant floor was clean and tidy, service was very fast and easy going. As a side note to those who want to hear it, the melt burgers are a bit depressing so just go for the nice ones.

Order notes said not to ring doorbell due to it being almost 11pm at the time it arrived as my son was asleep. gave sweet chilli sauce when ordered bbq

Food looks good on pictures but a lot smaller when you get them.

I ordered my food at 8.10pm and got a msg that it would be delivered 830,it was past 935 when it came,the chips were cold and hard and inedible,the chicken burger was also cold,the burger bun was hard on the bottom half,all in all very disappointing and won't be ordering there again

Food has obviously been left to sit on the counter for a while as cold when it arrived and chewy.

It seemed to be a long process and I received my order eventually but was disappointed that I paid extra for 9 onion rings and received 6 x

Got to say i was taken back by BK, there quality and prices absolutely destroy all local companies, i will be back again this friday!!!

Wow those prices are high, not worth the money. But worryingly the clifton Moor branch was filthy
