After this BK has reopened the management have clearly organized it very well. The restaurant floor was clean and tidy, service was very fast and easy going. As a side note to those who want to hear it, the melt burgers are a bit depressing so just go for the nice ones.

Ordered a bbq burger and a double cheese burger. My wife has an intolerance to bbq sauce. Makes her stomach really bad. Burgers arrived clearly marked. My wife opened hers and took a bite and finding no bacon looked at burger to discover they had mislabelled burgers. Mine clearly said bbq on it. Opened mine and sure enough it was the cheese burger. When complained all the manager would do was to replace the burgers! How does that help my wife?! Not going there again.

The food is probably the best Burger King I have been to in years. That is why I keep.going back. The drinks are refill as you wish and I find it an easy relaxed place to eat out once a week. Highly recommend it to anyone from lone dining to family outings.

Ate here for lunch yesterday with my partner for the first time best experience I’ve had to date it was early the restaurant was quiet spotlessly clean it’s surprisingly nice in there we ordered the chicken royal it’s refillable drinks by the time we had poured our drink meals were ready all fresh and hot really friendly staff I’ll never go back to McDonalds it’s far superior the only thing I would say is download the app they have awesome deals and points to claim freebies

The store closes at 11pm. We arrived at 9:30pm and ordered food to eat in. After taking our uncleaned seating area which was the best out of the worst bunch, we waited for roughly 10 mins before the staff member came to us and told us we couldn't sit in (bearing in mind it was pouring down with rain). We were not happy with the fact that we ordered the food to sit in and after all that time they tell us we cannot sit in so we decided to cancel the orders and go elsewhere. The staff were so uninterested and the customer service was terrible. Won't be returning. Why open until 11pm when you can't eat at 9:30pm. The seating area was open to the public.

The food was cold can’t get off the toilet kids meal was disgusting for my daughter no box, lid for the drink or toy. staff not bothered ate in the car saw a worker empty the bins outside with no gloves putting his hands straight in the bin to get rubbish out into a bin bag absolutely shocking the price they charge for there meals you would think they could provide the right ppe (gloves) for there staff to protect them selves and the costumers especially around food will not be returning this place has gone down hill since they had the fire of the building

I do love their burgers and fries. Clean and well presented restaurant. The staff are friendly and reasonably knowledgeable. The food is as good as you can expect, with the flame grilled flavour being their signature thing. Much prefer their fries to KFC. It was reasonably priced, though it could be a little cheaper with everything considered, lol😉

Went through the drive through Thursday lunch time and there was 2 cars in front. When we got to the intercom we were sat there for 5 minutes and nobody spoke. (We had the window down and were talking, so it was clear someone was there) Moved along with the cars, assuming the intercom didn’t work, and heard the car behind us having their order taken. Nobody at the first window, got to the second window and was asked cash or card. Told the lady with glasses that she hadn’t taken our order so we assumed the intercom was broken. She spoke with an attitude and told us she was “very busy” and “cant take everyones orders”. Assume she needs to find another job if she cannot fulfil her role of taking orders. She made no effort to ask us what we wanted so we left without any food.

I would rate this place a 0 star, maybe 1 star, because they got my order right, but thats a thing they should get right the first time anyway. I spent about £45 on 4 burger, total 4 medium fries, 4 drinks and a kids' meal, and with the experience, i think this place is really expensive compared to other fast foods. The kids' meal was so small, and there's no way it could feed my child. I found 2 hairs in my order. The worker was not wearing gloves nor had their hair tied up. Also, the worker was not working properly but had a conversation but was also rude when giving us our order and made me wait 20 minutes for my order. Toilet was so unhygienic, and I am not happy with the service n food they serve, and as its newly opened its just disappointing, and I would recommend not to order here.

Would like to thank the manager from Clifton Moor Burger King - Rob Rose, for his kind hospitality last night. Our car broke down & we had to wait for breakdown recovery for almost 3 hours, with 2 children in tow. He lent me a phone charger to use in store & offered us all drinks - these were very much appreciated after spending so long waiting for our recovery. We had already eaten in there, but it was somewhere warm & clean for us to wait. Thanks again for going above & beyond.

Dreadful. Unpleasant to see a staff member assembling a burger and salad without using protective gloves. Bossy woman with a ponytail and glasses argued with me when I said some of our fries were cold. She had an attitude problem and the way she spoke to a driver who was waiting for a delivery order was rude. The staff looked miserable and the bossyboots woman couldn't even get our order right, the child's meal was minus the box and I had to ask for the drink. Grubby toilets (in a very new restaurant) and rubbish from the takeaway scattered over the area by the picnic tables completed the picture. We won't be going back!

My wife said she fancied a burger and would I take her to the Burger King at Clifton Moor she came back to the car after about 5 minutes with a small bag of fries a cola drink and a burger? The bun was about 10 centimeter across and contained a thin berger and some bacon ( £1 extra ) which looked like it had just been dropped into some boiling water, yuk, all this for £7/30 absolutely disgusting! The staff must be ashamed serving this rubbish and the manager should be sacked, first and last visit for us.

If I could, I would give NO STARS! No one seemed to know what they were doing, self service didn't work, waited 10 minutes to be served! No health and safety standards as I saw female in non uniform prepping the burgers with her long hair NOT tied up, no gloves, no face masks whilst preparing the meals. Saw 3 deliveroo drivers come in wanting to collect their orders with no one at the till and the orders were ready. The staff who served us asked if we were eat in or take away, advised take away, then they served the food to us on a tray! Asked for bag, gave the SMALLEST paper bag when we had 2 meals, burger and share box. Had to ask for ANOTHER bag which they gave a SMALLER paper bag. At least the order was correct...... I watched the food been cooked in front of me, yet when I was packing the burgers, they were lukewarm!? Service so slow, the food went cold! Got home and reheated the food, ate it and unfortunately it's the worst! Standards gone down and food taste bland! When I was leaving, 5/6 people queuing.... No one at the till to serve them yet there was 4 people making burgers!? AVOID!!

40 mins in a queue (with only 4 cars ahead of me) 10 mins at the window watching 6 kids not doing a lot other than chatting, led by a very poor excuse of a team leader with a superman belt buckle on, so 50 mins in total before I got my food, I had to ask for napkins and the child gave me one for two meals which cost £18 they should be wearing balaclavas you can see how burger King are slowly going out of business if thus is the standard!

I've been twice now since it has re-opened and its an absolute shambles, my first visit was just before they officially opened to the public as part of their "soft opening" so I initially dismissed some of the issues as teething problems, after all that's what the soft opening was intended for, to catch any problems that may arise. My second visit yesterday was nearly a month after opening, and still the same issues. It took nearly 30 minutes to process the order after the self service kiosk took payment but didnt process the order correctly, and it never got sent to the kitchen, just a generic error telling me to go to the counter. Nobody was on the counter when I went over to sort the issue, it took 2 managers to sort the machine who had no clue what they were doing, spent forever fumbling around with a receipt printer which was completely unrelated. Once the order was called they had forgotten two of the burgers, when we sat down to eat, the burgers were stone cold, the onion rings were burnt and tasted acidic. Some major improvements are needed, I won't be returning for quite a while.

Asked for a chicken royale with cheese and bacon along with 2 other meals. No cheese or bacon on the royale but the wrapper states that's what is inside. The lettuce is brown and far too much mayo. Not a great start for the Return of the King! One of the four self-serve kiosks wouldn't accept payment. The other three were slow, didn't respond to finger presses or didn't display product images. Took 20 mins to order because of a long queue. Delivery couriers were blocking the entrance and access to the sole checkout. Order didn't contain the 30p barbecue dip, staff didn't even mention it, I overheard someone saying they were missing it too and discovered it was out of stock. You work for a king, not that clown over the road, please sort out the teething issues! :)

We were so happy that Burger King reopened. We visited for the first time this evening and it was absolutely shocking. Firstly the waiting time was ridiculous over 20 mins for our food. Once we received our food we noticed a meal was missing . I told the lass behind the till that we ordered 3 meals so I never questioned the £18 charge as it seemed about right. Only to find out that they had only changed us for 2 meals. The lass behind the counter looked so scared and shocked that I told her the prices worked out at £9 per meal and it was bang out of order. Also no drinks holder was given for the journey home. When we got home we saw the the meals are not worth the money at all the chips were very salty and only got about 6/7 chips and the drinks were flat. Absolutely shocking so cross really need to sort it out. Will not being back. Staff need more training and management needs to be sorted out. Very very very disappointed.

This Burger King has recently reopened and we visited it on its 3rd day of opening. The waiting times were surprisingly short to say it had been closed for a year. Food was fresh and hot. Only problem is the app ordering system doesn’t seem to be very easy to work and 2 of the kiosk ordering screens in the restaurant had “out of order” posters on them which I thought was odd to say it had just opened and this caused a bit of a queue.

absolutely terrible customer service been wwiting for an hour and only thing we got was "we're making it now" and didnt even apologise for the wait until encouraged. should be 0 stars

Drive thru tonight 9:54pm for some Whoppers, speak to this nice staff at the till called Josh Peter (got his name from the receipt), polite and patiently answer all our questions while the food is preparing. Burger tastes fresh and great, that extra smile from Josh made it a very pleasant experience. Will definitely visit again.
