McDonald's in York

SCAM. Never order from this place!!! Every single time I have ordered from McDonald’s, half of the items have been missing. This is not exaggeration, you will lose out on nearly half your order if you decide to order from this McDonald’s. Today I was scammed out of over 10 pounds worth of food, this was the final straw. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE MORE THAN HALF OF THE ITEMS YOU ORDERED.

Services are not good and the Staff is very rude

Bad experience ever had in my life we order burger and they gave us just patties after long time and when we ask for refund they refused it so we exchange it and they ask for more 11 quid what a day waste.

Quick and easy for my first visit in york, but the chicken tenders were so tough I couldn't even finish one.

A lovely worker called Maria helped me by giving me directions when I was lost. A lovely girl hope she goes far. The food was great compared to my mcdonalds at home. And tables up and downstairs were clean. Lovely place would visit again xx

Why say 24 hours and stop serving ‘eat in’ at half 9? Quarter pounder looked like it had lost some weight. Will go to the drive through at Clifton Moor next time, staff are much nicer too

Worst Macdonald's I've ever visited. Shut the seating area and the toilets. Left my food poking out of the top of the paper bag. When I was raining heavily outside. Refused to allow my husband to use the toilet. Will not be going back there 😔

Food was prepared quickly. Found somewhere to sit ok. On a Friday lunchtime so wasn't too busy

The food is standard for McDonald's, but unfortunately this store gets too busy in the day. Make sure you go outside of peak hours.

The worst meal experience I have ever had in my life. The servers are not only incapable of getting an order right, They lack any semblance of care for the food or it’s preparation. I would not recommend this Mac Donald’s to ANYONE. Purchasing food from this location is always a gamble because you never know if you’ll get what you have paid for, sometimes they won’t even bother to include various items you have bought. The food is alright, average Mac Donald’s food, not prepared well though. Whoever is in the kitchen clearly doesn’t care at all about their job because their “attempts” at crafting a burger could be misconstrued for those of a blind person. When you come to a Macdonalds you expect the bare minimum, sometimes it’s a pleasant surprise when the food and service is good, but at this establishment the bare minimum is a VERY hard ask. If you come here all I have to say is good luck. Also to mention, the cleanliness is up to standard.

Absolutely disgusting macdonalds. Servers are not capable of getting an order right. The state of the McDonald’s is not only shocking but disappointing as it will let down even your lowest expectations. Frankly this branch should be shut down it is an embarrassment to the franchise . As somebody who has been to Macdonalds in various counties I’ve never seen a worse than establishment. Please never eat here and never order from this location.

Let's face it... It's Maccys, it's just a quick bite to eat when you happen to be in the same vicinity, it's not that I dislike the food, it's just not a great place unfortunately, weekends are absolute chaos, toilets are quite unpleasant, restaurant areas are barely passable, I think I'd rather Go to a bakery or something similar for a quick cheap meal

Standard MacDonald's. Would be good if they got the screens with the order numbers working but other than that can't go wrong

Food as standard. Asked the least busy person behind the till for sauce because we didn't get what's ordered at all. She told me to ask the lady in white who was doing orders to go when you was busy. So felt for her as she asked nicely to ask the girl behind the till and happily told her I was sent to the collect desk. Clearly this person maybe in her 30s+ didn't want to do anymore then use the til even tho I kindly pointed at the sauce selection 2ft from her til and no one else was behind me.

I come here every Thursday. It's so good. (I get 20 chicken nuggets and chili sauce every time) :)

Never been in such a dire restaurant, 1st kiosk not working, 2nd kiosk no receipt, bins overflowing with rubbish on the floor and tables, place full of loud foul mouthed teenagers. Avoid.

McDonald's is loosing its charm of fast food, unfortunately deliveroo service and just eat are killing it, not only does it now take longer to get served the disrespectful way these delivery staff barge in throw there bags down then in some instances just muble on the phones wondering around looking like fell out of the bed. McDonald's isn't exactly cheap. Still go back 😁 Feel for the staff.

Same as every other McDonalds really, food is as good as its going to be, fills you up for a small while, atmosphere is the same as every other McDonald as well.

Whatever you do never make the mistake of ordering McDelivery from this place. I’m not sure who’s fault it is i’m sure the workers were doing their job just fine but i ordered at 10:45pm or so, McDelivery CANCELLED my order at 12:10am after waiting well over an hour and the app changing multiple delivery “partners”. There’s no way to make a complaint via email and the McDonald’s chatbot only has a prompt to “praise”. You’re better off licking the dirt between your carpet fibres than order McDelivery.

the food is regular McDonald's. not bad. however this is the most disgusting McDonald's establishment I have ever seen. there was a massive amount of mold on the walls and the toilets were utterly disgusting.

Overcooked and dry. Not sure how it's possible to screw up assembly line fast food but apparently it is. Entitled student visas work here so no surprise.

Food was usual Maccy's but the place was dirty. There wasn't many people in at all, it was a Sunday night, but a lot of the tables were dirty and there was litter and left foodstuffs lying around. Definitely not one of the better Maccy's about

Like any other McDonalds, poor quality food but you can get it fast. I think they put to another level difference between what you are getting actually and how it should look on the promo photo. Coffee is ok and some deserts are decent.

Ordered on app food don’t arrive despite app tracker saying delivered. Delivery fulfilled by Uber eats who refused to process any refund rude and unhelpful. McDonald and Uber now just steal money- crazy!

A very quaint spot but the atmosphere is bustling. Service and employees were absolutely delightful, so speedy under stressful circumstances, very much appreciated. Good tasting food. Overall, amazing McDonald's, very reliable. 5 stars!

Only popped in for a cup of the lovely coffee. As always it was very busy, bit the service was outstandingly fast and efficient as always in this branch.

Usual maccies food,very busy ,The tables that were available was covered in old food packaging and trays,Considering how busy it was surely they should be clearing the tables and wiping them down so people have some where to eat

All is all it is a well thought out design for disabled access, and pram access staff were friendly and polite 😀 x

Disappointed with service and cleanliness

Have been in blake street. Today. This McDonald's is absolutely filthy. Think health and safety need to pay a visit. The fixed seating area had food and crumbs and dust which has probably been there for weeks. The ladies toilets were filthy. Toilet thick of dust. Defo not checked on every hour or so. Uugh. Management need to checked up on in the shop because they not doing there job properly either Wont be eating there again.

Food was cold and the dining area was grubby and needed a good clean but staff were really busy getting food orders out.

Awful place. Felt like you were sitting in a store room. A family with 5 children were trying to enjoy a birthday treat whilst the staff and manager stacked furniture around them, without talking to them once, putting trip hazards everywhere. Floor was filthy and when they did clean it they only washed the parts that were easy to reach. Do yourself a favour and give it a miss.

I only really visit for a quick bite to eat after town so unfortunately it’s the time of night when drunks, homeless and teens are all over the place.

The premises itself is not very well maintained, place needs a deep clean as its rather dirty, like most McDonald's premises they are fairly run down, fabrication needs updating.

It is another McDonald's nothing out of the ordinary. Service a little slow but food same as always.

Good location near St. Helen's Square. Popped in for a 'burger-of-opportunity' after a few rounds at a pub - quite delicious. Could get rather busy at times but I do appreciate that this is a handy quick take-out option. WiFi may be available here, did not make use of the washrooms.

Don't bother full of York kids trying to start fights with overseas exchange students and door staff just stood and watched horrible place on a night
