McDonald's in York

Llamado esta noche a través del drive-thru. No estoy seguro de por qué nos molestamos tbh. No hay opciones vegetarianas en absoluto, se olvidó de poner nuestra comida feliz en la bolsa, así que tuve que volver por ella y sin salsas a pesar de preguntar varias veces.La comida estaba bien, pero no valía la pena.

Visité dos veces durante el fin de semana, una vez para una cena rápida, ya que era tarde cuando llegamos al Travelodge al otro lado de la calle y nuevamente para un desayuno rápido antes de partir a casa. Definitivamente lo evitaría si no le gustan las hordas de adolescentes adentro y afuera, merodeando en los baños y el pasillo fuera de los baños y en la sala de espera, ¡maldiciendo en voz alta constantemente! Mis hijos tienen 3 y 6 años y no es algo que me guste que presencien o escuchen.Las hamburguesas estaban frías, así que no eran geniales. Sin embargo, la comida del desayuno parecía mucho más fresca y sabrosa.

Hadnt been to McDonald’s in a while. Now I Remember why. Poor food very slow service. Better off going to a Greggs

Visitamos mcdonalds hace un par de semanas cuando hicimos el pedido, fuimos al tablero de pedidos automatizados y mi esposa quería un muffin de desayuno, pero no pudimos encontrar ninguna manera de pedir una opción sin gluten, así que todo lo que pudo haber tenido. comer fue un hash brown que dejamos con disgusto, no entiendo por qué los mc ds no pueden hacer bollos de pan sin gluten que hacen en el extranjero, así que no volveremos pronto, parece que las personas que son novias lo han pasado mal en el covid 19 brote

Used the drive through to get a coffee. Service was good and the coffee was also. The drive through was quick and easy to use.

When you go to any McDonalds theres always a 50/50 chance whether or not you get good food and drink or bad food. If you were lucky and were to get food just ready made the chips really warm with salt and the burger put together well and not just thrown on then you are lcuky because it does taste nice minus the amount of calories youi consume with every bite. Howeverif you were unlucky and good bad food and drink then the chips would be warm ish but no salt ( they have been sitting on the rack for a while) then its really not nice to eat.The hot choclate on the other hand is something i feel the staff sould be checking regually as sometimes it runs out of choco powder so i just get a watery with a bit of hot choclate flavour. If i recceved this when eating in then i would exchange it straight away however if it was a drive through then i would of wasted £2 on something that is not drinkable

Staying at the Travelodge across the road, but arrived to early for checkin, so had a quick bite here, usual McDonakds fare, seen one and seen them all!!loads of free parking, and great location if shopping at Monks Cross, or just simply passing through

Everything cold. Nuggets looked double cooked. Coke flat. Fries soggy. Called up to say how disgusted I was and that the lived up to their 2 stars and manager hung up the phone.

Pretty much a standard McDonald's really. Service can be a little sloe if its busy. Had lunch here several times, and it was alright.

Rest was fine but soggy fries what else can I say. Better than Clifton Moor but that’s not saying much. Sauce on Nashville chicken unbelievably hot.

Si pudiera dar una estrella cero, habría un pube gris y varios pelos en la tapa de mi McFlurry. Noté que ya no podía comer físicamente sin saber lo que podría haber en él. También esperé unos 10 minutos para 2 McFlurrys. y un cono de helado, no se usaron redes para el cabello ni guantes absolutamente repugnantes y nada limpios. . . . No vengas aquí a menos que quieras mala higiene. . .

Went drive through Saturday lunchtime. Not busy. Was served extremely quickly. Ordered one Big Mac meal with black coffee. Car park full,so went over to Sainsbury’s.

I think the one off your staff members is absolutely horrible, as we walked in she complained because we moved a tray off the table we wanted to sit at before she got it, then she told us that we needed to leave soon before we'd even finished eating and took our tray.

Well a disappointed son after going through the drive thru. I order him 2 happy meals as he was excited because it's Pokemon but he was left disappointed as he received angry birds. Thanks for that!!!! The food was just thrown In the box also and I had to put his burger back together. Huge disappointment. May stick to Clifton moor

We visited this McDonald's for a special occasion with our young nephew. First impressions , crowded, confined, grimy - the table we chose had debris underfoot and was not clean. We did receive a courteous reception but we were very disappointed with the standard of the food provided. The chicken nuggets were cold and greasy and we left all the chips as we found them inedible - cold and horrible. The only good things we had were the tea and the bottle of milk. A cloth had been left on a table and we saw a member of staff pick it up and wipe down two baby chairs and three tables with this cloth! UGH!

Always something wrong with my order when I order from here, I don’t know why I still spend my money at this branch! It’s usually on drive thru. Today for example: missing Fanta, NO smarties in my SMARTIE McFlurry, my cheese bites are so old they’ve shrivelled up and become chewy and gross and ordered a burger with no lettuce and yup, you guessed it, it has lettuce... it’s it really so difficult to get orders right and actually serve fresh edible food? Also this store is soooo tight with their fry portions. Bad bad bad!!

Ordered hot drinks and waited. Screen said to collect the order but nothing along with other orders were ready. Waited more than 5 minutes and asked an assistant if the drinks were ready. They went behind the screen and came back with them. No apologies, nothing. Seemed nobody could care less, Definitely avoid in future

The staff were friendly and helpful. However, after sitting for 5 minutes, we were suffering the virtually constant sound of loud bleeping!!!? Couldn’t stand it. We asked the girl who said it was the fryers and if they press the button to stop it, within 1 minute it starts again! McDonald’s DO SOMETHING about it!!! Annoying for customers but worse still, NOT A GOOD working environmentment for your staff!!!!

The staff 2 lovely ladies with magenta hair very pleasant, helpful and efficient 👍 However couldn’t stand the constant bleeping from the kitchen, so loud, irritating and unwelcoming! No thanks! have to take our tea outside to get away from it! What a headache! 😫😫😫

Went via the drive through for a quick fix after shopping for a new car. I ordered a McChicken sandwich meal and McFlurry which was ready quickly but the portion size of the fries was rather measly which left me a little disappointed.

Went at 21:30 and was shocked to hear extremely loud “rave music” from the kitchen. I understand it may make their shift a little more enjoyable but it’s extremely unpleasant for customers. Judging by the poor reviews already received, you’d assume some effort would be made to increase standards, not to diminish them.

Went with a simple request of a McFlurry and they told me sorry no ice cream in the machine all day today... a 24/7 McDonald’s no icecream. That cuts a lot of the sweet treat menu off... all I wanted was some whipped ice cream... left empty handed and very disappointed

I had chicken blc. 1 of my boy's had double cheese burger and I had the same. My other boy had 6 chicken nuggets. And all was good. This burger has caused mec36 hours of pain. I had not eaten anything else that day. Chicken blc all the way.

This venue is well patronised and the staff friendly, even though they have to deal with a barrage of customers requiring attention. The food is bog-standard McDonald's fare with the usual deals on offer. The children's dishes are proving popular, perhaps partly on account of the trinket that comes with the package. Plenty of free parking is provided.

Every time we go here there is something missing from the order, the portions (fries) are smaller than they should be or its freezing. It is so disappointing when you're spending £25 each time. You expect it to improve, maybe it was a 1 off, but it doesn't. In fact it probably gets worse.

Over the past few weeks have visited the drive through at McDonald's located behind Monks Cross Shopping park.

We visited at an extremely busy time, with my wife in a frazzled mood due to earlier retail nightmares. The food order wasn't quite right, but courtesy of Victoria and George things were put right quickly and with a smile.... well done to them!

Drive through, ordered chicken chips meal and cadburys egg ice cream + spicy veg burger chips chocolate milkshake and a coffee.

Not a place we would normally go to but had promised to take our Grandson. Place fairly full, but were served straightaway and to be honest, the girl on the till was helpful. Our order came through straight away, so obviously pre-cooked and not overly hot. Grandson happy with chicken nuggets and the table top tablet. However my husband's cheeseburger was so thin it was practically invisible - so much for the adverts featuring lovely thick juicy burgers (can't beat Aldi for them). The burger was not much thicker than the slice of cheese.

Usual food, service much improved from the past few reviewers. We had nothing to complain of and the speed of delivery to our table was truly 'fast'.

Use this place now and again and always gives what it offers-fast food. Burgers, wraps, coujons all have proved to be tasty.

We've given this McDonalds several chances, but each time the food has arrived cold - after a long wait. I don't understand, as it's freshly assembled; but the cheese in cheeseburgers isn't even melted so the food has /never/ been hot.

Ordered 20 nuggets... Got 17. Not even close. I missed out on 3 nuggets... They miss out on 3 stars. Will probably come again due to convenience... Hope they give me 23 nuggets next time.

It is very rare that my family and I visit a Macdonalds and the reason is very clear here at Monks Cross. The restaurant is poorly staffed and people running round like headless chickens. Not a good experience and one to avoid unless you are very desperate.

Firstly, I can't complain about the staff or customer service, that's always been good.

This used to be Reasonable & good! Last Two meals is now making us reluctant to use in future. First they served me with a Stale cold McChicken sandwich where the Manager admitted it was too hard & dry for him to even break. I lost my crown tooth biting into it. The next disappointment was sloppy Icecreams that were on their way to being milkshakes!! Sundaes are going downhill too and are not firm like they used to be. More than few occasions their excuse was machines not working properly! I would have thought such a big branch would be able to get their machines fixed quicker than this. Manager on the 20th March 2016 at 15.00 hrs tutted when we had to take the Sundae back in even though it was a drive thru order. What a cheek! He knew of the fault but the Customer is to blame obviously in this managers eyes.

Went to this McDonald's ordered my food, and went to collection point, when I got to collection point I was given dirty looks by one of the staff members called Natalie. She came over to us and told us we can't stand and wait for our food, we have to move to the other side of the counter, when I asked her for some bbq sauce she then slammed 2 on the counter and gave me and my friend another dirty look, she then handed me our food and started staring at my friend saying 'I hate people like this' and then I looked back and thought, how cheeky can you get, and while I looked back she said 'what you looking at'!! Surprised she even got a job with that attitude! Disgusting customer service! When we left, we called the restaurant and then asked for a manager but surprise surprise, no manager about so I told the person who answered the phone what happened and when I stated that she was rude and out of order all he could say was 'oh okay' and hung up on me. It's surprising how people like them have jobs.

Why do you leave the drinks on that table to get warm and melt, just had a Big Mac meal with strawberry shake ( drive through ) Burger Cold, shake melted Again ! ABSOLUTE RUBBISH

Went through the drive thru today, no que, waited ages to have my order taken, only ordered chips and Mozzarella dippers, went to the next window, waited ages again, finally paid and he wouldn't give a receipt for card payment told to ask for it at next window. Got food and again had to ask for reciept, went to eat food and the chips were so so soggy, it was like they had been microwaved a few times, or dipped in water, the cardboard carton was also so soggy too, very disappointed as was expecting lovely crunchy chips... Pregnancy craving definitely not satisfied today...actually feel sick :-(

I can't say much about the food on my experience here as I didn't eat any, my friends did. But I want to comment on the staff, there was one guy working on the tills, quite short, middle aged and said he never usually works on tills, but usually works on the floor. Anyhow he was LOVELY! I normally go into Mcdonalds expecting average service with moody looking staff and no help, this man was brilliant, explaining our table number, being chatty, offering to bring our food over as it wasn't quite ready and looked really hard working and genuine. So, we went to go and sit down, he brought us our food, and half an hour later one of the other members of staff was mopping the floor, there was a wet floor sign there but from what another person in my group says, it was taken away before this happened.. the nice guy from behind the till came over with a tray and slipped, really badly! Crashed to the floor and his tray of food went everywhere. I asked if he was okay and asked if he was hurt. He said no but looked extremely shaken up!! Quite bad really if the wet floor sign wasn't there like my friend said. Anyway, no one rushed to help him.. only me and a couple of other customers at the other table near us, we started clearing up the spilled food and asking him if he was okay. The man who was mopping came over, cleared the rest of the food and coukd have asked if he was okay but I didn't hear it. He limped off, after picking the tray up because the other staff member didn't even though he was hurt. The appalling thing is.. I felt like I should go to make sure he was okay, get him a drink etc because none of the staff seemed bothered!! If I was at work and a staff member fell, I'd do all I could to make sure they were well. They couldn't be bothered. It wasn't nice to see him hurt and feeling like only a couple of customers cared. I went to the counter before we left and asked if we could have a word with him, just to make sure he was okay and to thank him for his lovely service!! He had gone to have a sit down. It's a shame to see a hard working member of staff get hurt and then everyone else just shrugs their shoulders. Apart from the lovely guy who fell, I don't usually think much of staff in Mcdonalds and I certainly won't after tonight. The only reason I'll be going back in there will be in passing to see that guy and thank him!
