Rubbish food ,bland and boring, can cook better at home with Indian takeaway secrets book. Inside is dirty and not very clean hence the low hygiene rating. If you want to sit in a proper Indian restaurant try down the Bradford road ,proper food and clean...

Came today on recommendation. Firstly can I say I didn’t know this place was here, but also I’m so glad I came. We was the only people as a couple sitting in the restaurant on a Friday night, which I thought was odd. If you was ever a regular of the Balti garden, I suggest you try. It will be my number one for Castle Bromwich 👌

Definitivamente volveremos pronto.

Visited twice in 2 weeks and also booked the private party room at the back for next week. Lovely environment, attentive staff, great quality food and fabulous value. This is a new restaurant and every effort is made to impress and it delivers results. Great value prices and you can take your own alcohol too. Highly recommended. Give it a try. It's the best in the area and we.ve tried them all.

Food was lovely on both our 1st and 2nd visit. Sadly service could be improved as waiters were on mobile phones. Will visit again but please remove phones during work times its a bad habit and looks poor in front of customers

We were staying in the Travelodge over the road and as it was chucking it down we decided a quick scamper to Kismet would be sensible. I’m glad we did as we really enjoyed the food and service. We chose king prawn with garlic and chilli, tandoori lamb chop, then meat thali and duck bhuna. All of the food was well presented, tasted great and was very filling. We ended up leaving some as the portion size was a bit much for us.

A solid 3.5, but there is no ambience and found it to be really pricey. We came in early on a Friday and the place was empty. The heaters were all off and the restaurant was quite cold Inside, we even had to wear our jackets for a while. There is little to no ambience, though the tablets are nicely set, there are makeshift walls or curtains blocking certain areas of the restaurant. The menu is extensive and had a lot of options, veggie and non veggie but it was REALLY pricey for what it was. We got two starters and they were both very small for £5 each, the main courses didn't come with Naan or rice, and each rice portion is super tiny for almost £3.5 . My Indian relatives would be in revolt if they ever saw the little amount of rice for that much. The food was nicely seasoned, though I missed some fresh coriander or lime. The service was extremely friendly and the highlight of the visit but with these prices I would not recommend it. There are many other options out there with a MUCH better value.
