It was my daughter's 50th birthday so we had an excellent dinner from Seng House The food was ready at the pickup time and all was perfectly cooked. Friendly service. Thank you very much.

We moved in the area in 2013 and was glad there were 2 Chinese take away. At that time, Seng house was not as good as the one on the opposite side, so we had been its regular customers until a couple months ago. The last 3 or 4 times we ordered from the opposite Chinese/Thai take away, food was under par: beef, squid and roast pork were chewy. (I am oriental so maybe a bit more critical?) Even prawn crackers were undercooked and chewy. Fried rice was dry, had to add water to microwave to warm up, for example. And they reduce their portion sizes. So we decided to try Seng House last night 1st May 2021 (Saturday night). We ordered Special Fried Rice, Egg fried rice, Singapore fried rice, King Prawn Satay, Roast Pork & Cashew Nuts, Salt & Pepper Chicken wings, Special Yellow Bean sauce dish, prawn crackers. And wow, everything was cooked right. They were all delicious! None of the fried rice were dry, all the meat / prawns were nicely cooked, and not chewy. Satay sauce was really tasty; chicken wings were not overcooked, either. Regular normal containers: they have not reduced the sizes yet. Overall our family was very pleased with the food. If Seng House can consistently produce the quality of food we had yesterday, we will go back to Seng House in the near future for our Chinese take away. If you are local and have not tried it, please have a go. It offers slightly different choices, too.

we get food from here on a regular basis and always nice. The owners are extremely polite (English is't fantastic but if you order over the phone they read it back to you if the English girls is not on the desk taking orders) Never had undercooked food and we have eaten from here for many years.

First time visit. satay chicken on skewers was actualy undercooked , i only realised when wondering what the rank smell was. Rotten undercooked chicken! I phoned to warn them to check the rest of their chicken and could not get myself understood. "Do i want chips with that" FAIL.

Whoever was in store cooking 15/5/25 between 4 and 5pm, needs a lesson in reading. I wasn't going to review, but this is the 6th time out of 7 orders where the main part that makes the pizza amazing has been forgotten. In general, I really enjoy this branch's pizzas. Always tasty, always polite and courteous and really great drivers. But there has been a pattern where one or maybe more of their employees either can't count, can't read or are choosing not to read and check the order properly. I order the same pizza EVERY TIME. A large create your own FOUR TOPPING fir £14. I always order (bbq sauce, reduced fat cheese. 4 Toppings are ground beef, tandoori chicken, olives and that elusive BURGER SAUCE. 5 times in a row, I have had to call to state that my pizza is MISSING the burger sauce. The 6th time I ordered, it came with it because I purposely called the store after ordering to tell them "not to forget the burger sauce, because it wastes my time and their time and money having to correct it." This time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered my usual. Lo and behold, I opened the box and look...NO BLOOMING BURGER SAUCE!!! So I call up, I get the standard apology and the offer to remake. But not remake my order, remake a CHEESEBURGER pizza to make sure I get the sauce. I feel the tone is a little sarcastic towards the end by telling me "it costs the company money but the customer is always right". But I leave it and now waiting. After I realise the reason I don't order the cheeseburger is because I can't eat onion and the gherkins upset my tummy. If I wanted a cheeseburger pizza, I would have ordered it and previously they have remade my actual order. It's such a waste of food too because we can't eat 2 pizzas in our house. On top of costing their business time and money, just because an employee can't check their order. Just received my "replacement" which is the wrong size (I ordered large and it's a medium that's arrived) and the sauce is so saturated, I think it was their way of being sarcastic with a pizza. Photo attached. I feel like who ever is in charge doesn't actually care because if they did, they wouldn't allow such silly mistakes. It takes a lot to get me to the point I'd put anything negative as I prefer to say nothing, if it's not nice. But maybe by doing this the person making this constant mistake can be retrained. This is a luxury for some of us and you should take more pride to get it right first time. Anyway. Hope this helps someone. Such a shame, because when it's right, it's good.

The staff here are friendly and welcoming. There's a pool table by the bar and a dining area on the opposite side and a small outside seating area at the rear. It all looks quite homely. We have visited this place on a number of occasions and there's always a good atmosphere. We had a delicious Sunday roast here today, all nicely cooked and very tasty. We also visit sometimes on a Wednesday evening when they have certain events, such as a disco or quiz. A finger buffet is sometimes included and this is always a tasty treat. Can't rate this place highly enough. It's a good, friendly town centre pub and has become something of a local for us as we don't live too far away. Highly recommended. 5*

Why do I have to wait 10 minutes for a simple milkshake - ahh it's because you're too busy working through orders instead of attending to a simple transaction - twice this has happened - it won't be happening a third time - maybe I'm too polite to mention it but it's pretty annoying over something so simple - fast food Not😞😞😞

We walked in to a very snappy manageress who was extremely unfriendly and blunt, pointed to a table then walked off sat for nearly 20 minutes while staff all standing together with their backs to customers were chatting and leaning on service counter, finally put an order in took 10 minutes to make a coffee, when food arrived omg disgusting my husband had New York bbq chicken I had bbq rack of ribs everything was so dry and no bbq sauce, the chips were over cooked and hard had to ask twice for my onion rings which were cold due to being left on side had to ask for cutlery and sauce, when asked for manageress she came over with a really bad attitude and as she walked off mumbled have a good day Not, not very professional is it having worked in hospitality for 40 years I think they seriously need retraining as for returning to F&B SPALDING Definitely not
