Sebastian's Italian, Richmond in Richmond upon Thames

DELICIOUS pizza. Had the Sebastian pizza, ate the whole thing. Also their version of pepperoni was delicious. I live in Richmond and my family were visiting so wanted to go somewhere super friendly and delicious. We went on a Thursday evening and was a great atmosphere, busy but warm. My parents said it was the best pizza they’ve had in a long time. Smiles all around!

Had a great time here. Food and service were both top notch. We ordered the Diavola pizza and two chicken mains. All items were amazing. Highly reccomend. Very nice atmosphere and setting and the staff is super nice and make you feel very comfortable. 10/10 would visit again

DO NOT ORDER SEAFOOD DISHES! We returned to Sebastians having been last year and remembering them having tasty food. I had the crab linguine and tasted other seafood in my families dishes. It was tasty but I had gotten food poisoning from the seafood I had eaten as I had all the symptoms. It was an awful experience. I sent an email to the restaurant about this, I appreciate that they called me back but the manager said that the food poisoning wasn't from them and I got it some other way. Now my father is also suffering the same symptoms a day later. This is what prompted me to write the review as he also had a seafood dish. The one thing I do recommend is the gnocchi though!

Great international woman's day lunch here. Good menu, reasonable vegetarian selection, they would even alter a couple of dishes to make them vegetarian friendly. Overall an excellent restaurant.

This place delivers it all; great food, extremely attentive, friendly and helpful staff and a lovely atmosphere. It’s our go to restaurant now. It only took 8 years living here to find it…the ravioli and bruschetta are just delicious!!

This place was absolutely out of this world fantastic! It was absolutely packed, with a queue out the door, and yet the staff were calm and welcoming, and the food/drinks were timely and nothing felt rushed or hectic. The food itself was outstanding, incredibly delicious and authentic. I can’t recommend this place enough, and I will 100% be bringing everyone I know back when I’m in Richmond again!

Top service, everyone was very smiley, helpful and seemed genuinely kind. I noticed the manager had his attention to everything, even though he was very busy himself while people kept coming or calling on the phone to book a table. We will be coming back to enjoy more dishes in the future.

I forgot to take pictures! I had the Fiorentina pizza which was around £16, it wasn't worth the price. I've had much tastier pizza for less. Then I had the cinnamon and apple cake which was £9.50, again not worth the price and I couldn't taste the cinnamon either! The atmosphere/ interiors were great and I can't fault the service. The staff were friendly. However, they carry around a large specials board to each customer and read off the specials to them. It might be easier for them if the specials were written on a tablet or even a piece of paper. Overall, pretty average food at inflated prices. Unlikely to visit again.

Delicious food and warm atmosphere, the baked aubergine and green peppercorn steak with rosemary potatoes is so creamy, a real treat, our daughter absolutely beaming as she truly enjoyed her beef carpaccio, linguine ragu and tiramisu. Future visits planned.

The place was wonderful, starting with the staff, who attended us very well at all times, and I want to highlight Ache, our waiter, who was attentive the entire time, with a smile, and explaining each of the questions to us one by one. that came up with the dishes, I also want to highlight the place, I thought it was spectacular, with a light consistent with the time it was, and it created a pleasant and romantic atmosphere, to have a special date. The most important thing, the food, was wonderful, everything, we ordered 1 appetizers (TAGLIERE DI TERRA), 1 starter (CARPACCIO DI MANZO) 1 PIZZA (NORCINA) and 1 side (PATATE AL ROSMARINO), each of them extremely delicious, Very good quantity and at a price in line with the quality they offer, I must say that the Norcina pizza pleasantly surprised me, one of the best pizzas I have eaten in London. I will surely return, to continue trying all their dishes and continue delighting in each one of them. IT'S A JEWEL IN RICHMOND

Visited the other day and was pleasantly surprised to have one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. I was craving a margherita for some reason, so ordered one of those alongside a Diavola (tomato, mozzarella, picante, nduja and chilli) along with a pesto pasta for the girlfriend. Really enjoyed the 2 pizzas, was not expecting it to be so good despite seeing the giant pizza oven when I walked in. My girlfriend really enjoyed her pesto pasta and I tried a bit, enjoyed it but definitely preferred the pizza. Had to get the garlic bread as well because the smell of garlic was so alluring but it was a bit more plain bread than garlic bread. Adding this to my list of pizza spots in London from now on.

My partner and I walked in with no reservation on a Saturday evening (8pm) and we were very lucky to be seated. The food was exquisite (I had the ragu from the specials board on recommendation) and our server Adriano was fabulous. Look forward to returning. They don't accept Amex JFYI.

What a lovely little find, very cosy atmosphere and the staff were brilliant and accommodating . The food was incredible, my personal favourite being the tiramisu which was fantastic. Can’t say enough good things about it!

Great food, atmosphere, decor, and service. I will definitely be visiting again. I went by myself just to check it out, I will definitely go back again with the family. The food was tasty, and the seating area was nice and comfortable.

Absolutely great service and lovely food. We were not sure what to expect as this was our first visit. We booked ahead as we were attending the theatre that evening. We will definitely be returning very soon as we want to sample more of what was on the extensive menu.

You cannot go wrong with a Sebastian’s. Consistent excellent quality, fantastic taste and courteous fast efficient service makes for a wonderful Italian meal experience. Family friendly and great for anyone from 3 months to 80 in a pretty, quaint, olde worlde part of Richmond. Highly recommended.

Visiting Richmond for the weekend for some Christmas shopping & socializing. It’s a Friday in December, and my husband called on the off chance that there may be availability. Not only did they fit us in, but we got a fabulous table and everything was incredible - the atmosphere, the staff, the food, the entire experience! I had the Cappriciosa at the recommendation of our server, and my husband had the lemon chicken with rosemary potatoes, which we followed with cheesecake & gelati, and the quality of the food was next to none. Excellent value for money, excellent experience all round, will highly, highly recommend to everyone I know looking for an authentic Italian dining experience in London!

I love the whole experience at Sebastian's. Two big ovens contastanly producing yummy pizzas, comfy seatings and good vibes.

We came here last night to celebrate our anniversary and it was the perfect spot, from service to food (they had incredible specials available too) it was top notch, we enjoyed our dinner very much and well be back!

We had an early supper here on a rainy Monday evening. There were already quite a few people in the restaurant at around 5 pm. The atmosphere was friendly and cosy, the food and wine excellent, the service charming and professional. I had the monkfish special and my husband the seafood linguine. Both delicious! Would highly recommend.

We were there late on a Wednesday afternoon so there were not many other customers. The majority of our food was very good, delicious pizza and chicken in lemon sauce. However my pasta dish was only OK. The pesto sauce was a bit too earthy for me, was a bit like eating liquidised grass. The creme brulee was amazing though

We took our seats in an empty restaurant, and after 10 minutes, no one came to give us a menu or ask what drinks we would like. We left.

Visited with girlfriends for Sunday lunch and a long overdue catch-up. We sat in the conservatory area which was quieter and perfect for our chattering! The waiting staff were attentive without being intrusive. Our booking was at 1.30 and it was almost 7pm when we eventually left..... we had a lot to catch up on. But we were never made to feel like we had to leave once we finished our meal, which was delicious. Service as it should be, will definitely visit again and would highly recommend for any type of gathering.

I had the penne arabiata and sauce was perfect and the pasta just right. Can't complain. Service was efficient and friendly with specials described from a board. Waitress knew the wine selection and was able to advise.

We went to Sebastian’s last night for dinner, on arrival I thought it looked quiet but on opening the door and entering, it was a different sight to see and you don’t have to guess why. We were greeted at the door and given the choice of seating area. Moments after being seated, our waiter approached us to ask if we would like some drinks, we chose to go for wine but asked for a sample of one that was on the menu. She came back with the sample in no time along with the specials board but by this time, we already knew what we wanted. Though the restaurant was busy, our food arrived very quick and we tucked in, we both ordered pizza and needless to say, we both finished the entire pizza. The food here is amazing and the service is exceptional, if you want a true authentic pizza, this is the place to visit.

This is a fab Italian. Was really busy with a buzzing atmosphere. We were a large table so had pre-booked our food. Everything came out at the same time and hot. Food was delicious.

Authentic Italian but expensive and a service charge of 10.43 was cheek. Food was good. Seabass steamed and potatoes and spinach and florentina pizza and salad garlic bread and 2 desserts and water lemonade and cola.

We went to meet our friends at Sebastian's in Richmond. Restaurant itself has a great ambiance with friendly and polite staff. After the starters I chose salmon parchito, one of the specials of the day. It was very delicious. Texture of ingredients was recognizable, pasta al dente and the juicy white wine sauce. Certainly commendable venue. I will visit again for sure

The supposedly homemade pesto sauce was like water and literally had no taste at all except bitterness. I made much better myself

I’ve been here numerous times and honestly I have 0 complaints. The staff are always exceptionally friendly, the specials are always interesting and usually very good, and I like the decor a lot. I find it very hard to find fault with this place.

This place is great for Italian food! I can only say please go and visit food is great and service was very quick! Atmosphere spot on they also arrange last minute birthday request and it was the best! Great experience also good prices for amazing food! Richmond is lucky to have restaurant like this! I will be back for sure. :)

Very humble establishment with authentic flavourful dishes. The pasta tasted hearty, generous portions, packed with flavour and sufficiently al dente. Manager and staff was jovial and humorous and contributed to a welcoming experience. Will come back again if given another chance.

Food was good traditional Italian, but staff were a bit abrupt and the food was a little bit expensive

Poor service all round - slow and difficult to get staff’s attention. We didn’t get our mains until an hour after ordering and it was an ordeal trying to order more drinks as staff seemed extremely busy and reluctant to take on more orders. They seemed very under-staffed. When it did arrive, the food was okay but nothing spectacular unfortunately. It’s not hard to find better Italian restaurants so definitely wouldn’t return.

I had my b-day today and we ve picked this restaurant. Nice selection of food, we have choosen two mains from the specials, one with monkfish and the other dish was with cod, very delicious:) The others picked the stake, it was melting like butter, the side dishes quite average veggies nothing exciting. The olives are plenty for starters with some wine. Super kind service and nice atmosphere. The desserts were delicious too we all went for different ones and no mistakes all very tasty:)) Thank you for tonight we shall be back!:)

Extraordinary Italian Restaurant

I did not enjoy, the salad was not apelling, I tried a crab sauce pasta ... over condimented floating in oil and butter. Overpriced.

Perfection does not exist and so I thought . Food was immacy and tasty and the staff is so warm friendly. And the icing is is the excellent desert and wine list. a definitive recommendations from me for a meal.

Delicious pasta and pizza dishes here. A great Italian restaurant - one of the best in richmond. A very big restaurant but it can get insanely busy, would recommend making a reservation beforehand. Lovely crème brûlée as well as the BEST tiramisu!!

Came here for my birthday last night and can honestly say it was the best service we have received in a restaurant. Not only were they able to accommodate a last minute booking for 9 people with only a few hours notice, the staff were phenomenal, engaging, kind, patient and just generally good fun.
