The most delicious breakfast wrap that I have ever had! I have also had the mushroom burger on a previous vist and it was really lovely.

We popped in for some eggs and toast and a cup of tea. The scrambled and fried eggs were cooked well. We were given butter for the toast and pots of tea. The server was friendly and checked we had everything we needed. A family came in after us and he was friendly and efficient towards them too. The menu is small, but that isn’t a problem for me.

Ordered two cooked breakfasts to the tune of over £25 to receive mouldy old toast! Needless to say we didn’t eat the other items as were not entirely satisfied they’d be safe to eat given the state of the bread! Have emailed them direct to the email provided on their Facebook page to no avail..

Popped in for breakfast with a friend, the place had just opened. I ordered a full english breakfast, but tweaked it as I did not want tomato or beans so had hash browns instead. Everything looked like it had been cooked and then stored/kept warm. The bacon was tough and rubbery, the hash browns were so dry inside, mushrooms were oily, toast was OK but cold, eggs were OK. So many cafes and hotels do awful breakfasts that are clearly not freshly cooked and this is no different. At £8.50 with an orange juice (again, not fresh but made from concentrate) it represents poor value and not very nice food.

Brilliant fish and chips! The quality of both the fish and the batter is great. One of the best in the area, from my experience! Chips are good too…

We went for Sunday lunch because it was recommended. On arrival we were told that the roast had rosemary on the potatoes, vegetables and possibly the gravy, this was not mentioned on the menu. My friend cannot eat rosemary, she had fish and chips which she did not enjoy. I didn’t have beef because rump is not a roasting joint, I suspect that the beef was not cooked on site, from what I saw someone else eating. I had the pork belly. I have had this elsewhere and I cook it so I know that it can be tender. The belly was two thirds fat, the meat was pink at one end, I did not eat any of the meat. The cost for one lump of very fatty belly was extortionate. The ‘roast’ potatoes were oily externally and internally. I ate them because I was hungry, I had indigestion for 24 hours. The root vegetables were uninteresting with a lump of various greens at the the bottom of a small pot. Much better to have fewer vegetables and better presented. The manager was very considerate and wanted to hear my views. He did not charge us for the meal,, although I offered to pay. The Yorkshire pudding was huge, crispy, and cold. I will not return for a roast. The staff were very good. The room became cold because the fire went out, that was quickly relit by a member of staff.

My wife and I saw an advert on our local community group saying this establishment was doing very good fish and chips for take away. On the group site people were saying this cost £7:50 each for fish&chips but you had to order in advance. My wife wife placed an order and on the other end of the phone it sounded like an old lady taking the order, she was very abrupt and wasn’t listening to what was being asked and just kept talking over what my wife was trying to ask. Anyway we eventually placed our order. When we arrived to pick it up my wife went into the side entrance and went to pay, the old lady was quite rude and said it was £8:50 each, when my wife said that on the local page it everyone was saying £7:50. She just brushed it off and said she didn’t know about that, my wife only had £15 in cash and as we had only ordered for 2 this is all she had. There were dogs running around the area as well not very hygienic. The price appears to change depending on who you are as my wife went back to the local group and the members are still saying they pay £7:50. First and last time using this pub takeaway the fish and chips were a small portion for the price.

Have been many times, food usually very good. Waitress Kaya was lovely - friendly & helpful. Only down side the 'wine offer' we were using did not include my preferred dry rose so we had a dry white instead.

Friendly and efficient staff (Ria served us), good menu choices. Food delivered quickly, was hot and well presented. Good value for money, was warm and comfortable with plenty of seating
