Came here with a friend after a long time, the staff were able to give us a good idea of what meals and deals might suit us, all very friendly

I went here for Christmas Day which was the best one I've had so far. We usually dine out for Christmas, but most times its unorganised and really bad service. I had one of the best experiences here, even though they are all great times. Christmas day was made by the service been even better than exceptional. Lucy had the team so organised and attentive which really shows how well it runs everyday. Thanks again Team Frogs

Have visited The Three Frogs several times during 2024 both with my family and friends. Always had excellent service from the very friendly staff. The beer & food prices are very competitive and the meals are very good and the portion sizes easily enough. Would thoroughly recommend the pub for all occasions.

I visited the Three Frogs for a Christmas Dinner with my family and my partner - it was amazing. I had to ask the name of the chef, Jane who made the best Turkey I have had in years!!! My partner does not enjoy Turkey and without hesitation they made her and Xmas dinner with chicken instead. James and Nick behind the bar were great fun and able to recommend all the right drinks for my party! Great time had by all and I highly recommend!

Brilliant Christmas Day meal. Welcoming, lovely food made with good ingredients and excellent, attentive service.

Had the gammon for lunch with a friend, it was to for 15.50. Full of flavour, good waiting times and friendly staff.

An unhurried lunch for a party of 10. Very relaxed atmosphere with excellent food and drinks!

We had our Xmas works dinner last night. We'll I must say the refurbishment looks great, the food was absolutely beautiful and the staff were amazing. I would highly recommend here for either eating out or just to go for a night out. Three frogs has now got to be up there with the top places to go in Wokingham.

we are at the three frogs having our family Christmas meal which was in a lovely area quiet just to ourselves. The service was fantastic. The food was lovely and plenty of it and a lovely pudding. The staff couldn’t have done any more for us, it was absolute fantastic thank you for making it a lovely Christmas meal and the table was dressed up lovely as well.

Lovely place, looks fab since the refurb, amazing outdoor space, so much seating areas. Staff were friendly and welcoming, only reason I have given 3 star is because myself and my husband ordered the tex mex sharer which was supposed to have sweet chilli sauce but instead came drizzled with the ipa hot sauce meaning my husband who dislikes spicy food couldn't eat it. We did check the menu which definatley stated sweet chilli sauce. Unfortunatley we didn't have time to send back and reorder as it was a quick stop half way through a long journey and we needed to move on to avoid bad traffic. Other than that small disappointment the place is lovely and we would still return.

Food was absolutely amazing. I had a chicken swarma flatbread. It was generously topped with just the right amount of sauce. Staff were lovely and patient and attentive throughout. I was with my Mom who was very slow and elderly. My brother who was in a wheelchair and they gave us the perfect table to accommodate all of us very comfortably. And when we decide to all share one desert, the waitress brought an extra serving of ice-cream because she said it might not be enough for all of us. Very sweet and thoughtful.

Friendly and efficient staff (Ria served us), good menu choices. Food delivered quickly, was hot and well presented. Good value for money, was warm and comfortable with plenty of seating

Met up with friends and enjoyed a lovely meal, staff were very pleasant and obliging.

This is a lovely pub to go to for breakfast! It’s not too busy so the wait isn’t long and the breakfast is to die for! The decor is much better now they have been refurbed. We also attended a kids Halloween event on the 26th which was face painting and pumpkin painting - the kids really enjoyed it! I really recommend it.

First time visiting The Three Frogs and will definitely be returning 🐸. Had the Sunday roast and the food was great. Lovely welcoming atmosphere with great decor and extremely friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended 😁.

Visited the pub today for a Sunday roast which did not disappoint. The staff were their usual enthusiastic & friendly selfs. After dinner we had the added bonus of watching the big match on a huge outside screen with heaters On! Not the perfect result for me personally but a great afternoon with dinner & sport!!!👌

We had booked a table for 1.30pm on a Sunday . We waited p20 minutes to be seated and another 20 minutes once at the table but ,no one came to take our order . We moved to the bar area queued for our food and waited a further 25 minutes before the food came . The food I have to say was good however , there was not much of it . To be fair we did complain and we were offered a free dessert which, we refused as we were running out of time . The prices of drinks are well above average , the staff look fed up and tired and overall not a great experience so will not be returning.

So we booked a bottomless brunch only to get there and find out they don't do one! I had email confirmation of our booking. The Manager was really good and sorted everything. We basically paid for our food and the drinks were free. Service was good too

Gosh! We have enjoyed some great places, but this is a must to visit. The chicken and ham pie with chips and broccoli is the ultimate pie experience! I have never enjoyed a pie so much in my life! The whole place has been renovated and is spotlessly clean, with loads of alcoves making dining a wonderful time. FULL marks here! Thank you 🙏

Place looks great after the makeover. Came here a few times before. Team are all very nice and food was hot and tasted good. Tbh food isn't anything special standard greene king pub grub but that is reflected in the prices. You get what you pay for and it hits the spot

Absolutely loved The Three Frogs, really yummy food, great friendly staff. We've been a few times now and we are happy everytime. It looks amazing since it's been done up too. I love what they've done with the decor and layout, especially the outside space!

Bit quiet for a Sunday evening twice on the bounce. Odd as the ambience and food is great and the Gammon Steak melts in the mouth. Much better than the Oakingham Belle in my opinion. My daughter prefers the food here now. And the service is much friendlier too.

Came here this evening for a family meal. The food was lovely and service great. The 2 waitresses Laura and Jamie-Leigh were friendly and efficient - nothing was too much trouble! We will definitely be back thanks again for a lovely evening

Very impressive renovation but staff are quite slow and the till system doesn't seem to help , also very slow kitchen system , normal wait for food is nearly an hour , also charge you for ice and a glass when they don't mention it

Good unpretentious pub about to have big refurbishment, the gammon egg and (fat) chips are superb and extremely good VFM. 2024 update. The refurbishment has totally transformed this pub. It's been extremely well done and is now a place I want to go to, rather than just another slightly tired pub. They've added a fair few large and high quality TV screens so if you like to watch sport, it's a great place to do so. Lunchtime food offers are extremely good VFM too.

The atmosphere is great, they have done a great job with the renovation. The food however was nowhere near the standard it should be. 8 of us ate yesterday and all 8 agreed that it was not to a reasonable standard. The beef burgers were dry, the steaks were over cooked. Even the replacement steak came without the sauce and wasn’t cooked as it should be. The roast said it was going to be served pink but it was well done and the veg was just boiled and on the side. 2 of the meals were taken off the bill by the lady who was very good considering her shift had Just started. We still all left feeling like we wouldn’t return for food again. It’s still a nice place for drinks and starters. Lastly we ordered several rounds of drinks, and 1 of the beers didn’t taste right. Instead of solving the problem by switching it out the lady behind the bar continued to basically tell us the beer is fine. Even though she said it could be the glass. When we said we would like a different beer (only 1 sip was drank) she said she will still charge us for the beer and said she’s been working in bars for a long time and she knows when beer isn’t right. What happened to the customer is always right.

Great local pub, looks amazing after the refurb. Lucy and her staff are attentive and friendly. I ate, the menu was good and catered for a variety of tastes and needs - the food was delicious.

First Friday for the football. Premier league has started now, and so nice to see the pub packed. Food was served boiling hot, and great quality. The burgers of the month are mouthwatering. Jane, James and Lucy have smashed this pub. Can’t wait for more football games here.

It is what it is. Value for money. Not for a special occasion.

Visited Sunday with the family for food, the transformation of the actual pub is unbelievable & the staff could not do enough for you! The new menu is a huge improvement from previous ones!! Will 100% be returning. 5 stars all the way!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been to the newly modernised Three Frogs several times now...Great outdoor space ...was served by Kacey and Jane recently...Great service and food.

This is what happens when you increase the number of tables but not the size of the kitchen. This used to be a nice place to visit but not anymore. The staff are trying their best but the wait for food is intolerable. Our food took well over 1 and a half hours to arrive. Probably nearer to two hours.

Great new fit-out, staff really friendly and food nice - good value pub grub. Like a new pub since makeover - will be back more regularly

Not great. Newly refurbished so assumed fully up and running. But on a Sunday lunch 50% of draught beers off, no steaks at all, 45 minute wait for food that was available. Hard broccoli , frozen roast potatoes. Nice staff but not enough. Won't be back.

Booked a table for 1900 as they said it wasn’t available at 1830. Arrived on time but no tables ready prepared for our booking which was for 7 people. After rearranging tables we settled. During the booking we specified that we would order 3 fish and chips and when we ordered food they said no fish and chips, then we told about the booking and all of a sudden magically the fish appeared and we managed to get our f&c( which I hoped we didn’t) . It was no good , over cooked chips with everything wrong fish . Order steak for my husband/ medium rare and that was well done , order with egg and egg only arrived after we pointed out and at the end of the steak. Despite arriving on time for our booking we got told we would wait 40 minutes for the food which wasn’t great news for the kids and they took1 hr instead ( again with tiny kids burger ).ordered desert for the kids but despite asking few times we couldn’t wait for them any more and left around 9pm as kids were over tired . Please is refurbished and looks really good but I rather have the old look and the old food if that is the price to pay. Needs to do a lot to improve but I won’t risk to go back until others hve tried enough

The poor workers are being overworked due to the place being severely understaffed it took the food over an hour to arrive and it was overcooked

I went here for a date with my girlfriend, we wanted to see how the refurbishment was and it did not disappoint, its very well presented, and the atmosphere is relaxing. The service was good and the food was good value. We both enjoyed it very much, we intend on visiting again.

Brilliant pub, first time visiting and they have just had a new refurb and it’s just stunning. Superb food, very attentive staff and really nice atmosphere. The manager Lucy was real welcoming. You must visit if you can ! Thanks will be back again soon for sure

Great selection of food & drinks for all the family. They also had some live music in the garden area which was such a nice touch it gave it a real Vibe. Will be back again soon ! The pub is closed right now for renovations but I’m told by the licensee at the Foundry Bell it will re-open in 2 months time, I will re-evaluate the place once it has.

Disappointed with the roast beef meal today. No horseradish sauce to begin. Beef was not pink as advised on menu but tough and full of gristle. No one check in about the quality of the meal either during or at payment

We had arranged to meet some long lost family there mid-afternoon, as it was reasonably central. The pub was quiet but felt welcoming and the staff were friendly. There was plenty of parking outside and seating inside. I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat but the coffee was great 👌🏻

Absolutely awful food , I've had better in hospital . I went there for Xmas dinner in 2023 and had a bad meal and said to myself that I wouldn't go there again . I did and regretted even ordering my meal . Don't care staff . Out of the freezer food . Cod and chips with such thin fish in heavy soggy batter . Told the manager and he replied "they're all the same , that's what they send us" Well that says everything about the Green King Group !! Never Again .

Food was decent although had an issue with my desert but was quickly rectified by a very nice chap I Believe called James. He sorted out the issue I had and honestly was of the best customer/ staff interactions I’ve had in a long time.

Flying visit as staying at a hotel nearby. Delightful family meal, food was fantastic and staff were lovely, would definitely visit again if in the area.

We had a lovely family meal here. The food was excellent. Particularly loved the schnitzel with garlic mushrooms on top. Amazing! Big thank you to the staff for coping so well with all the requests from such a varied group... from babies to a 91 year old! Definitely will come back.

Not been to the frogs for a while so we popped in on way home Sunday from our long drive , my god greeted by lots of tables all covered in un eaten food plates and dirty tables , even a whole roast dinner someone had left ? beer glasses on nearly every table in a pub that had 3 or 4 people in so not busy ,telly blasting in one corner football stupidly loud and music as well ? all the ales where empty just IPA was on tap ? the choice of roast`s were just turkey - after ordering the meals from a girl that just should take up a different career as happiness was not forthcoming never been served by a Goth before ! a plus was nice to see a few dogs in the pub but hey get a grip the pie was all soggy the mash was out of a packet maybe can see so much food was left on the tables now ! but must say the roast was plenty and cooked ok , but my wife cleared our table before we ate - I read in the reviews that it`s new management well I can see why on a Sunday why your pub was empty now awful pub gone really downhill . UPDATE - been a week since this general manager answered below , well I send a email to this Lucy and not surprised got no reply ! thoughts on this pub is if you love drinking 14 pints a night and love football screaming out loud with glasses everywhere and puddles on the floor this is the one for you - for a nice meal in a clean pleasant pub try the others in Wokingham . Looking at trip advisor reviews of this pub seems to have plenty of reviews saying the same as mine a unsolved common problem it seems .

This Greene King pub is in need of attention. The atmosphere is poor and it is understaffed. The windows could do with a clean. The menu is ok and there are special offers available. Most dishes seem to come with chips, even the curry that also has rice.

Visited for Mother’s Day for the first time, was looking for somewhere we wouldn’t normally visit. So was nice for a change and our visit didn’t disappoint. The staff were friendly and welcoming and service was brilliant we were served by Lucy she really was amazing went above and beyond! Food was tasty we had Sunday roasts and kids sausage and chips which the little ones loved as-well as a very tasty hunters chicken! Very attentive to our dietary requirements, nothing was too much! I highly recommend this pub! Great atmosphere. There is plenty of parking there and the garden area looked nice too for when the weather is nicer!

Shoutout to Aaron the manager who goes above and beyond and is an asset the Greene King. This is a very friendly pub, with a convenient car park and plentiful menu. Their portions are great, you won’t be hungry after! Very dog friendly too with a special doggy treats area. Nice selection of alcohol free drinks too. A proper pub.

Been visiting the Frogs for many years, it's always changing... But at the moment, (2023) the food is fine and reasonably priced, and I quite like the ambience. Beer is good too. I liked the pub more in the 80's... But that's another story.

Today I came to frogs and had a few drinks, my waitress, Hali, was absolutely exceptional will be coming back.

We have been using the Three Frogs on and of for a number of years and was always satisfied with the food. We went last week January 2024 and was totally blown away by the food it was the best fish and chips we've ever had. We met the landlord who informed us he was new manager and he could've have been more helpful. Will definitely be going back very soon.

Booked breakfast with Santa for 10.30. There were some positives... really good coffee, polite staff (who I felt a bit sorry for) and Santa was very friendly and gave a present to our little boy. However, unfortunately we won't be returning. I called yesterday evening to ask if we could add on an extra adult to only be laughed at and be told they're full to the brim. When we arrived there were multiple extra tables and we had two extra places with chairs on our table! We then had to queue for a while to order food and drinks to then be told they'd ran out of cups so had to wait for our hot drinks. We then waited well over an hour for our food. When we reminded the waitress, it then immediately arrived cold with hard eggs and cheap bacon and sausages. I asked for fresh eggs which, to be fair to them they brought out straight away, but why not serve us fresh eggs in the first place? All a bit weird. They'd also ran out of butter so had dry toast. A bit of a disaster. Sadly we won't be returning. Waste of £50 😔

Omg, where do I start. Booked a breakfast with santa for 10am for 9. First we are told, "there had only be 9 as we don't have any more room !" First yes there are 9 of us so no need to be rude . Then it's 1130 and still no food, then after asking what's happening surprise surprise the food arrives 🙄 COLD, half of it missing burnt toast on one side not done at all on the other. Just unbeatable. Now I know this is all cheap and cheerful but come on, this is ridiculous. NEVER, EVER AGAIN!!!

Our table was booked for 1pm we recieved our meal at 3.45pm. Not happy with management.
