Watch what you pay! Went here and ordered a tray of chips at £4.50, wasn't until like got home a couple of days after that they charged me £14.50

Chips were over cooked. Chicken and mushroom pie was not even heated, let alone cooked. Very poor indeed. Avoid. Fishcake was cold too.

Lovely chips £3.50, sausage in batter £3 ...... but a TINY pot of curry sauce was £1.50!!! Normally, I'd expect a polystyrene cup full for that price, but this was about a 1/5 of that ....

Excellent; the fish and chips were freshly cooked and very tasty. The chap serving was really nice and very helpful, couldn’t fault it

Chips were very cold thought i would use a closer chippy since i moved but definitely not going back and the portion was small i am used to giving chip shops good reviews.

Qué puedo decir, así es como U cocinas chips de calidad, crujientes, calientes y de buen tamaño; el tamaño de las porciones también es bueno.La salchicha también es de buena calidad 1, no es barata y tiene un sabor desagradable 1: mi único comentario es que la masa se veía un poco anémica, pero tal vez se deba a la falta de coloración en la mezcla, lo que la hace lucir dorada en el pescado. . Saveloy también era de buena calidad.

We have used this chip shop twice over two holidays in Bournemouth. The portions were generous - we had fish and chips, pie and chips. The fish was great, no bones and not too thick batter.

Llamó a buscar un pez, no tenían ninguno listo, así que accedieron a esperar, lo suficiente. Lo tenía envuelto para llevarlo conmigo y debería haberlo sabido por el peso del paquete que no iba a ser sustancial. Cuando lo desenvolví, era como un pez pequeño, empapado en un batido poco empapado, empapado y bastante grasiento, lo peor que he tenido nunca. Sorprendente - por casi 5 - debería avergonzarse de servirlo.

Acabo de llegar a casa después de pasar unos días en el área de Bournemouth para un espectáculo en el Pavilion.Fui a este Chippy dos veces durante mi estancia por algo que llevar al hotel, una vez alrededor de la hora del té y la otra sobre las 9. 30 pm, y en ambas ocasiones fue el mismo tipo que me sirvió el que fue agradable y la comida era muy sabrosa con un buen tamaño de las porciones. Las dos veces tuve una salchicha enorme y chips grandes por 4 libras.Muchas de las malas críticas aquí para este lugar, pero en mi reciente experiencia en este Chippy esta semana, no pude encontrar faltas y volvería a usar felizmente cuando esté en el área.

Entré después de 10 horas en el trabajo por primera vez porque otro chippy que utilizo estaba cerrado, el primer contacto con el personal fue con los chips tomará 8 minutos. ¿Está seguro de que desea ordenar? Estuve de acuerdo en que estaba bien que el siguiente cliente llegó un minuto después. el tiempo cambió a 15 minutos, llegó el siguiente cliente, dijeron 20 minutos, pregunté si estaría esperando 20 minutos porque estaba cansado y necesitaba llegar a casa y dijeron que no estaría listo en 8 minutos, 7 minutos más tarde preguntó si estaba casi listo, dijo 3 - 4 minutos. Pregunté si podía recuperar mi dinero. Chicos de comida rápida, la noche del viernes lo solucionan seriamente.

Had a lovely day today with the family went to see Mary Poppins in btown dad n my 5 year old nephew wanted some chips so decided to head to this place, me n my boyfriend n dad got there first there was no one in it at the time and no one around so for a joke I said to Boyf “change the sign around to closed” as a joke to my nephew ...... as my nephews, sister and mum came to the door The guy comes out pushes My boyfriend out of door refuses service tells him he is immature refuses all of us including my family who are the saintest of the saints!! My boyfriend tried to apologise and explain it was a joke for the family but he was just being shouted at by the rude man!! He was very aggressive AND in front of my nephews!! (5years and 10years) Completely ruined what was our family Xmas day as all of us have worked the entire Christmas !! Absolutely awful embarrassing upsetting and disgusting behaviour!! Always been a family favourite for the bag of chips NEVER AGAIN!!

Visitamos Bournemouth para asistir a un concierto en el Centro Internacional de Bournemouth, que está a la vuelta de la esquina y nos falta un poco de tiempo, aunque nos quedamos con algunas fichas mientras viajamos.Encontramos Seastar y optamos por 2 salchichas y patatas fritas.La comida era a veces incomible. Obviamente, una de las salchichas había estado sentada por algún tiempo, posible desde el día anterior, ya que la masa era tan fuerte que no podía comerla. La otra salchicha estaba bien si nada especial. Las papas estaban blandas, secas y en lugares duros, casi sin cocer. Después de comer la mitad de la comida nos dimos por vencidos y tiramos el resto.Yo evitaría este lugar si alguna vez estuvieras en Bournemouth.

Cuando llegué y fui una ciudad costera, me dirijo directamente a un fish and chips como uno. Desde el in estaba un poco preocupado. No me pareció la mejor tienda de pescado y papas fritas, pero pensé que no debía juzgar. Ahora tienes pescado y papas fritas y luego tienes pescado y papas fritas Seastar. Esperemos que la próxima vez que visite esta ciudad encuentre la mejor.

The fish and chips were freshly cooked, tho depends what time you get there, i suppose....they were nice, very hot, a little greasy but not overly....would buy them again.

First the good. Chips were great, good quality potato cooked just right. Now the bad. The fish was quite possibly the worst fish I have had in many years and I eat fish and chips everywhere I go. Thin piece in fish with no taste. Batter was very thin and greasy. As batter was not fluffy and crispy the fish just tasted of oil and I didn’t even manage half of it before it found a bin. If I am in the area again I will definitely not visit again and would advise people to give it a swerve. Advice to shop would be to do some research and get a better batter mix, this would let the fish cook without going greasy. Chips were very good so proves they can do it properly with right ingredients.

Beatifully cooked and served. Near to beach and odeon and Bournemouth garden it’s a bonus for families

The food was ok but the chips were dry and not the soft tasty sea side chips you expect,the fish cake was nice but a little greasy,was disappointed to see the pasty and curry sauce going in the microwave.The shop when you walk in is not very inviting and could do with a makeover.Such a shame really as it could be a good place

Had to wait 5 minutes whilst cod and chips were cooked,as least I thought it would be freshly made, when I got it the cod was small and tasteless, it must have been frozen,, i soaked 3 sheets of paper in the excess grease,but it was still full of grease,these were the worst fish and chips I have ever had,and i have had plenty in my 64 years.Avoid this place,it is a shame as otherwise my stay in Bournemouth was great

Please be aware, their cod is not really a cod but other fish. Both my wife and I are absolutely certain about it. The fish looked and tested different than cod.

Visited here while waiting for my daughter. Had battered sausage and chips and they were probably the worst I've ever had. Batter was chewy and chips left a horrible after taste. Ended up throwing most of my meal away. Won't be going back!

Ideal little snack after the Odeon visit and not too greasy! Just a few minutes walk from the Ardington too so thats a bonus

Visited the chip shop today as me and my uncle were taking a stroll through the town and we decided to stop and get some chips.. The chips seemed very dry, not particularly fresh and my batter was really soggy..my uncles was the same, but he did enjoy his steak and kidney pie.

We were hungry and needed some some chips, gotta say it's not the most inviting of chip shops and some of the food in the hot cabinets looked like they'd seen better days.

Its a fish and chip shop, and I was hungry and wanted a snack during the day as it was such a nice day.

Very good fish and chips, slight wait...but hey..worth waiting for them freshly cooked. And ate in too which enhances the fresh taste too.

Had chips from here a month ago and they were so delicious best we had tasted for a long time couldn't wait to come back to Bournemouth so we could have them again so disappointed this time some of the chips were hard and they tasted like they had been kept warm for ages! All I can think is that the last time they were really busy so chips were being freshly cooked this time it was quiet so they probably been left cooked for ages won't go back again gutted!
