My server was lovely and really friendly made my day! The food was lovely and perfect for a sunny beach day!!

Comimos una hamburguesa con queso y tocino en este lugar y fue la mejor hamburguesa que he probado. El queso se derritió en la parte superior y la hamburguesa en sí era enorme. El miembro del personal fue tan encantador y amable y muy servicial. Si pudiera, definitivamente volvería de nuevo. Recomiendo encarecidamente este pequeño y encantador lugar

Comida muy normal. Los precios estaban bien y lo que esperarías tan cerca del muelle. Es bueno que haya asientos. La comida en sí estaba bien, ni cerca del mejor pescado y patatas fritas que he probado, pero una porción muy buena.

I had a burger from their yesterday and today I hae a bad belly it's like water I'm I'm 100 % sure this place was the culprit

I am a huge fish and chips fan, and have been here around 4 or 5 times, in fact, every time I visit Brighton I rush over! The fish is always fresh, the batter is delicious, and the chips leave me picking every single scrap! The staff are friendly and generous (once they gave a family's dogs a sausage!) and I always enjoy being there. The location is great, and being next to the pier, but on the beach, it feels more an authentic experience! Highly recommended in a town with so many fish and chip shops - this one gets my number 1 vote!

Seasiders have the choice of normal fish and chips etc one side of the shop and on the other Vegan and Vegetarian options. Tried the Moving Mountains Vegan Hot Dog with fries got to say the Hot Dog was enough on its own. Best vegan hot dog a must to try when visiting Brighton. Just along from the pier. Very clean and friendly.

This restaurant is great for a sea side snack. It is split into two sides - a meat and fish side and a vegan and veggie side. You can easily or from either side to cater for everyone you’re eating with. I’m a veggie but had a vegan hotdog and it was absolutely fantastic, it tasted like a “real” hotdog. You would never know the difference. My vegan sister has a vegan burger and mum had a chicken burger. They both really enjoyed it. There was loads to choose from. They also stock vegan and “real” ice cream too.

We were here on the Sunday bank holiday and Brighton was extremely busy and hot. Most restaurants we looked at along the seafront didn't offer much shade from the sun. We chose this one as it wasn't as busy as the other places and there was seating inside. We ordered 1 portion of fish & chips and 2 soft drinks and the food was ready immediately. There is a counter with all the condiments you need and we really enjoyed the food and were glad to sit down and chill for a little while. The canned drinks are a bit on the pricey side but when you are hot and bothered you just don't care. The service here was spot on and the food was freshly cooked and tasty. One portion was enough for the both of us as we wanted ice cream afterwards. If you are in Brighton for the day then check this place out. You will love the food.

Down to Brighton for the day, on the Saturday during August Bank Holiday. Can't go to the seaside without some good old fashioned fish n chips :) I used to visit another establishment nearby but wasn't very impressed with it during my last visit, and after reading reviews on here about it, it seemed to have gone more downhill. So, after reading good reviews about Seasiders, decided to visit. Was served quickly at the till, pleasant lad working there politely greeted me, took my order, gave me a receipt with my order number on it, explained that order numbers are called out over the tannoy when ready to collect. Order was called, fish n chips were freshly cooked, lovely and hot. You can put your own salt, vinegar and ketchup on, take napkins and wooden forks. I sat outside. Tables and seats were clean. Chips had a lovely crunch to them, nice flavour. Fish was proper cod, creamy white flesh that fell off in chunks. Some places (not this one) tend to sell cod as cod when it clearly isn't - look for the grey skin and fresh flavour of actual cod). The cod was beautiful. Very fresh and flavourful. There were a few chips with "eyes" and had green tinges on them, but this is to do with the potato. Am aware chips are freshly peeked and cut each day and this is a big plus and adds to the authenticity of the traditional English dish, but the few potato eyes and a couple of green tinged chips are the only reason I give this review a 4 and not a 5 on this occasion. Tip for management: please try and cut out potato eyes and green tinged potatoes if you can. Next time I hope I can give you a 5/5.

L'emplacement et le personnel sont agréables, mais nous avons trouvé le fish & chips un peu trop gras... Sans doute une question d'habitude. La portion est généreuse et les produits semblaient frais.

The best thing about this place is the location... The fish and chips were very average, as was the service... There are a lot of other places on the seafront in Brighton that I wish we'd chosen instead...

Typical seaside chippy that's been around for years.Good place to go in the season (seems its closed out of season) and sit by the sea looks directly at the pier and a good place for a trippers lunch.Positioned next to the bungee and far far better than the so called 'food court' of the zip wire so looking forward to it opening again for the season

Estábamos en Brighton por el día y estábamos en la playa. Quería un bocado para comer y una bebida, así que estalló en Seasiders. Así es. k. Hacen un Toastie muy agradable, así como Fish & Chips. Tuvo que esperar un rato, pero la Toastie valió la pena esperar.

Cuando piensas en una tienda de chips junto al mar, esperas lo mejor.Este lugar se ve sucio, el servicio fue horrible. Y peor aún, ni siquiera sirven patatas fritas caseras.Si obtuviera esas fichas en un caballo hambriento, en realidad sería razonablemente feliz. Pero esto es un poco molesto, espero que se trocen sus propias papas, no tiren algunos McCains que están friendo en la freidora y luego te cobran 3 por el placer.

Great fish and chips at a reasonable price, The decor of the restaurant is not great but it is fine for the type of restaurant. Fish and chips was great, the portion of the fish was huge and the price reasonable. Well worth a visit

who would of thought getting fish and chips at a seaside resort would be so hard.ordered just chips and got told will would have to wait.after 10-15 mins they were ready and they tasted alright.

Very good fish and chips cooked to order right on the seafront.Cant bet the location while tucking into your lunch. Tasty curry sauce and mushy pies too.One of the better places in Brighton to have fish and chips. Right near the pier.

Yummy chips in a brilliant location by the seaside. They also sell Swedish Glace amongst other ice creams. Downsides are there's a minimum card charge and there's a lot of disposable plastic used.

great place for a drink and chill by the water on the beach but it is a little over packed but thats unerstandable as its summer

As a Muslim couple strolling along the beach me and my wife were desperately looking for a chippy in Brighton. Our religious restrictions meant the oil should not be cooked in animal fat in and/or cross contaminated with non halal sources. After a couple of calls to the most popular chippys in Brighton (according to Google) I found Seasiders fufilled all the criteria we had. The lady who answered the phone (twice) was both friendly and helpful which created a great first impression.

My daughter and I had lunch here during the school half term. The restaurant is located on the beach just to the right of the pier as you look at it and down the steps. Very nice and fresh and good batter,

Y encontramos este excelente lugar donde, de paso, recargamos "batetias" comiendo unos fish and chips, pescado frito con papas fritas. Imposible que fuese más fresco, riquísimo y la fritura excelente. Vale la pena esperar unos minutitos ya que preparan los platos en el momento. No ye lo pierdas si estas por Brighton.

Just as the title says. Visited today. The restaurant is right next to the pier. Chips were good. Fish was lovely. Will go again!

Came here last July and had a lovely meal of fish and chips. Came back today after a meeting for some chips to keep me warm.. £2.80 for a small tray of chips should've alerted me something wasn't right. Yep the tray was a small portion of overcooked lukewarm brown chips. I ate them as I was starving but if I'd had my family with me I'd have taken them back for fresh cooked chips. If you use this place make sure they cook the chips fresh. Needless to say I'll be finding somewhere else to eat next time I'm in Brighton.

The Seasiders is next to the Brighton Pier, and along the beach side. The fish and chips here is fresh and tasty. It’s recommended to have a try.

Nos detuvimos para comer en la cafetería de la playa, en una hermosa tarde soleada. No hay nada mejor que pescado y patatas fritas en el mar y poder sentarse afuera fue una verdadera ventaja. No es lujoso, pero la comida estaba recién cocinados a la orden y el tamaño de la porción era enorme, sin duda vale la pena probarlo.

Queríamos pescado y patatas fritas en el mar y decidimos parar en Seasiders porque tenían una zona de asientos.

Wont eat here again. Asked for an adults and childs battered sausage and chips, when they came the sausages were small and overcooked the batter was hard to cut. The portion of chips with them was small too, the only difference between the 2 except the price was the adult meal had an extra sausage. £3+ for a childs meal and £5+ for an adults not worth the money.

Aquí había pescado y patatas fritas en un día. La cafetería está situada en el paseo inferior cerca de la entrada del muelle. Tiene asientos de fuera como de dentro. Me había pescado y patatas fritas con una parte de salsa de curry. El pescado...

Parado aquí para el almuerzo en un viaje de un día a Brighton. El personal es muy amable y la comida está recién preparado a pedido y gusto. Sin duda volveremos aquí de nuevo sin dudarlo.

Without a doubt Seasiders is the best chippy in Brighton & Hove.It's a great place to sit by the sea and watch the world go by.

We came last week with a huge group of more than 100 pupils and they loved it ! Everything was well organized , no time out ! The staff was nice and very obliging ! We enjoyed the food it was delicious ! And nice view on the sea !

Fresh made cod fish with chucks chips. Fish was light and flaky. Battered not too thick and very crunchy. The menu has mushy peas and curry dip if you like. Also burgers and other seafood on the menu. Seating outside and a few tables inside.

It was a full grey chilly day during the week. Not many people seaside. We really wanted fish and chips so we stopped here. The staff was really friendly and fish cooked to order. The chips were hot and just perfectly cooked. The fish batter was crispy and I didn't get one bone! We only used catch-up and vinegar which was enough as fish was really tasty. Watching the gulls and ocean life around the pier made it a perfect outing!

I visited Brighton for the marathon weekend as I was participating. The day before the marathon I was pickpocketed. On the Monday following this I went to my local gym to be told that this cafe had my phone. Not sure if it was handed in or someone dumped it there but I am soo grateful to the manager of this cafe. He went well out of his way to locate the owner of the phone and not many people would do that.Will definitely be eating here next time I'm in Brighton

Went here for lunch, the food was nice but the staff behind the bar were drinking beer (at 11:30am!) and sounded a bit 'jolly'- very loud and tipsy sounding- I'm all for having a laugh at work, but not a drink and definitely not around hot oil!

Great location on the beachfront near the Brighton Pier. The fish & chips with a side of curry sauce was delicious! The tables and surroundings needed a good cleaning and there weren't enough tables with umbrellas on a nice Friday afternoon so we sat in direct sun. The staff seemed very nice and food was better than I imagined it would be. Good authentic food for the area!

We had delicious fish and chips here and would highly recommend them. The food was delicious and really fresh and the young lady who served us was really friendly. The views were also spectacular as it is right on the beach. Will definitely be back.

Highly recommended !Lovely clean cafe serving delicious British food! I had some takeaway chips which were perfect! I was particularly impressed with the staff .I was served by a lovely girl who was happy to help but I was also acknowledged by other staff too which you don't see much of these days :) i will be returning to try their ice cream next !

Stopped at Seasiders for a coffee and toasted tea cake. Coffee tasted like lukewarm milk, hardly any coffee in it and tea cake was dry and not enough butter supplied to cover it.

I have had fish and chips from all over the uk, and I can't tell you how bad they are here! Chips are horrible, stale and taste like cardboard the FISH don't get me started, filled with bones, flavourless and £7!!! You're paying for the location and nothing else. Walk a bit further up and find a better chippy because this one is awful. To be fair to the staff they're very friendly!

Normally we wouldn't eat in places like this but we had children with us and that is what they wanted to do. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food - a large portion of good chips freshly cooked and a large piece of fish which was cooked perfectly. Presentation in a cardboard tray was ok but the communal sauce and condiments tray inside was not. Could have done with some salt and pepper on the table. Good for what it is.

My family always stop for traditional Fish and chips at Seasiders next to the Pier.The cod is all line caught and the owner explained to me that they always hand cut fresh not frozen spuds each day to ensure the quality of the chips is the best it can be.Lovely size portions and the fish always light and crispy. Its as oily as you would expect in fish and chips - but not excessive.Delicious! 10\10!

The best fish and chips I have had for a long time. Staff friendly and food was hot and tasty. Good price value too.

This is what it is says on the tin. It is a real traditional chip shop. The fish was very greasy and not light at all. It was good value and he portions were very large. Could have done with sauce on the tables. Had to back to get sauce and wait quite a while.

If you don't want to fight the cues for food on the pier go to the right before walking down the pier and kind of underneath on the beach is a good fish and chip placeEnjoy

Just arrived on a 3 day trip and stumbled upon this place by chance. Food was extremely fresh and tasty. Will definitely be going back again!

The lady taking the order was exceedingly helpful and cheerful even when we changed our minds about a couple of items. The cooks/servers were also friendly and helpful.The food was outstanding and good value in a location where you would expect to pay over the top. Seasiders do not take advantage of their location by pricing high and we all felt the portion sizes were big for the price paid.I have no hesitation in recommending this establishment

Vzhledem k tomu, že je cena za porci ve všech restauracích přibližně stejná (6,80 liber), vybrali jsme si tuto, neboť se ze "zahrádky" naskýtá pěkný pohled na moře a slavné molo. Porce byly více než bohaté a byly nám nabídnuty také majonéza, hořčice a kelímek na kečup (ten je volně k dispozici v dávkovači). Rybka byla výborná a v křupavém obalu, hranolky velké typicky anglické. Velmi jsme si pochutnali a nezbývá než doporučit!

Went for a quick lunch on the way out of Brighton. Fish and chips were ok not bad for a touristy place on the seafront (though mine hadn't been boned properly). Liked the sign about food stolen by seagulls 'no longer' being replaced. The trampoline rides next door also provided extra entertainment. Quick, relatively cheap lunch, nice on a sunny day.

Firstly I am not a snob but as soon as I walked in the place I just knew this place was not for me. Cheap chairs, you know the ones, aluminium, the ones that are so light you could balance them on your nose. The condiments table, well there was so much ketchup thrown around, it look like a scene from ER and so much salt on the floor I could of been in Whistler in December. I could of put up with the above (like I said I am not a snob) but the food was just awful, I mean really awful. The hotdogs weren't cooked properly, when you took a bite, whatever it was inside the skin just pulled out of the end. The chips were so pale it looked like they were fighting for their life.Seriously, don't waste your money. Awful.

Fish was fresh and batter was light. My daughter loved the chicken nuggets. Chips were average and burgers tasted like frozen pre-made patties. Stick to fish here. Cheap prices, too, even for being right on the beach.

Very nice little chip shop on Brighton beach, the staff were all very friendly, playing with my one year old daughter. The chips were very good, not quite the best I've ever had, that honour belongs to the Black country museum's old time chippy, but still excellent, The fish was fresh and delicious.

Visited this place in June 2015. It was empty at 12:30. The guy taking the our orders was not really helpful nor kind. My cheeseburger was nothing special, a well prepared burger meat in a dry bun (a Whopper at BK tastes 100 times better). We sat outside, but that was a bad decision: the tables were dirty, and millions of hungry seagulls were flying just above us. looking for food. We left our tables when the birds started to poo on us... I do not recommend this place.

I'm ended up in this fish&chips casually strolling on the seafront with a friend. We ordered one fish&chips and one scampi and chips with mushy pease and curry souce. They were both delicious especially fish&chips. The fish was very large and the chips abundant. The match with the souces is amazing. The only little drawback is the queueat at the till, evidently i'm not the only one that esteem this place but then my order was cooked quickly and they called the number of the recive at the microphone so you can wait sat comfortably on the table outside. I strongly recommend it.

I'm italian and i thing that this place is very good. I tasted here the best fish and cheap in brighton. Fresh fish and real cheaps ( not freezer potatoes). If you wanna taste a delicious fish and cheaps it's the right place, in front of the sea with a friendly and lovely staff.Reccomanded

Good quality, fresh, line caught fish and chips, served by one on the most pleasant guys you could ever meet. The fish and chips were freshly cooked, very hot and delicious. Highly Recommended.

Visited with the boys a few years back - revisited with youngest this week. Had to come back as its simply the best Fish and Chips in Brighton. Crispy batter, fresh fish, lovely chips, decent portion, friendly staff and right on the sea front. What more do you need? Really delicious food. Quick service and affordable. Range of burgers and squid, but no plaice (or was it skate?) that my son wanted. He demolished a huge cod and chips and said it was brilliant.Plus they serve coffee and hot chocolate as well as the usual pop, so the old man here can get a caffeine boost to cope with the walking! Very clean. We will be back in the summer.

Went for lunch on a busy sunny Saturday and we were served very quickly by very friendly staff. We got a seat outside on the beach (FANTASTIC view right by the Pier).Our family of 5 all had fish and chips. The food was gorgeous. It was freshly cooked, crispy and tasty. Huge portions! Also noted that it was slightly cheaper than other nearby fish & chip venues (inc. the pier!) The interior was clean and inviting and the tables outside were cleaned regularly. Not a spot of rubbish anywhere. We also liked that you could get burgers, ice creams etc. so there was something for everyone. Also, a fantastic location. Right by the pier and on the beach, so kids could play safely on the beach whilst the grown ups could finish lunch. Best fish & chips we have had in Brighton. Will definitely be back!

Excellent fish and beautifully cooked chips - generous proportions. One of had squid & chips. Grandson had a plain burger which looked goo.

I am sitting here now, I have been waiting for my food for 15 mins, the guy at the counter just called for ticket 217 I have ticket 240, nobody mentioned it might be a long wait, this is ridiculous. Quite possibly THE SLOWEST fish and chip shop in the world, I really hope it's worth the wait, but reading other reviews whilst I've been waiting, I think it was a bad move stopping off at seasiders

Food is freshly cooked to order. Tables are cleaned regularly and bins are emptied regularly.Seating area inside and outside and parasols are available outside.

Although the staff were really friendly, helpful and professional, the food lets this place down in a HUGE way. Sadly, although it's just steps away from the sea, I was told that even the mackerel (plentiful here in Brighton) is brought in frozen. My cod goujons were soggy deep fried messes with very old fish. The fat sat in my stomach for many hours making me feel queasy for the rest of the afternoon. Sadly, although I would give the staff a big thumbs up, I would advise them to use their talents elsewhere as they cant save the food here. It is VILE!

My Husband and I went here yesterday on the advice of Google reviews. We both had Fish & Chips with a side of mushy peas. The service was good, the person who served us was friendly. We didn't have to wait long for the meal. It was a good portion £17.49 including a drink each. The fish itself, we really didn't think was up to much, it was very dry and the chips were small, not the chunky kind I was expecting. We've had better fish & chips from up north where we live!!!! Don't think I'd com here again, there's a chippy on the pier that had long queues, and the chips looked a lot better!!!

8th sept 2015had awful fish at this place today tasted like a bit of rubber ..complained and got the usual do you want another one which was met with NO THANKS ..no customer service whatso ever..rude..avoid this place plenty of other ones about

Wow! Was expecting the same standard of food I've got from other seaside fish and chip shops (I.e c r a p ) and what I got was some excellent chips and a very good cheeseburgerLovely food

We are returning customers. My favourite is squid and chips, Today I couldnt see it on the menu but when I asked there was one portion left. My lucky day!!! Lovely friendly staff everytime we eat here. And to top it off they have Yorkshire tea!! Only the best! ! Thank you for a delicious lunch x see you soon

Had a lovely jumbo sausage and chips here and sat on the beach on their tables and chairs. A little cheaper than buying on the pier and not so hectic! Friendly staff and an excellent location..

nice to place to meet friendly people and enjoy, not only the sun but the food and the coffee, then finishing off with an ice cream. If it gets cold then a Brighton sweatshirt.

Seasiders were brilliant when we visited Brighton on our school trip. We had booked to go on the Volks Railway, but unfortunately it had to close due to a bee nest. The children were very disappointed, and Seasiders let us get all the children an ice cream for only £1 each! It was so kind of them and we can't thank you enough, the children were very chuffed. I have also been to Seasiders at the weekend, and both their fish & chips and ice cream is great! Really like visiting this place when walking along the seafront.

If you are coming to Brighton, you have to try the battered line caught cod and chips, good food, good service and great prices. Nothing better than eating in the sun listening to the water breaking on the beach.

Just walked on the seaside and decided to have a bite there. I should have checked something else. Not even a "Hello" or a smile, the girl at the cashier wasn't friendly at all. Moaning on the front of us and not even trying to hide her mouth... Alright.. Not a thank you or anything, just asking for money and "next". I don't know if all staff went out last night but we almost could see it on their faces.Apart this first impression, floor and tables around were dirty. We found a hair into our fries..The last thing I can say is about this guy who sprayed cleaning product on the table next to us but didn't realized we were in the perfect angle with this wind. Got everything in our faces. It was definitely too much so we threw the food away and left feeling disgusted. Really bad experience.

We decided on a late trip to Brighton. We got there about tea-time. After watching the seafront we felt peckish, well, hungry. Fish and chips were in order.Harry Ramsdens- no way.We walked on the promenade and metres to the West of the Pier, in the arches below the promenade, is this place, and an ice cream shop and a 'let's steal your money in the form of an arcade' place.We found SeaSider's, literally beside the beach. Tables and nice chairs outside. Go in, order, pay, given a number.Easy.The batter, as mentioned before by someone, was very nice, crisp.Sorry, the Cod is line caught locally, really tasty.Chips, perfect.Wallys and onions standard.Price OK for the top location.Happily return.Oh yes, the location, awesome to watch people by, the Pier, the sea, everything.

A nice walk along the seafront just down from the pier . A very friendly place good tasty food served quickly just what you want. Tables on the promenade too to watch the world go by . Highly recommended

Arrived in Brighton and walked along the beach couldn't resist getting fish and chips from Seasiders. Our order was taken by such a polite member of staff. Fish and chips were soo yummy. After walking around did find cheaper and portions that included mushy peas, however really enjoyed from seasiders..
