My sister is allergic to dairy and they are always accommodating to check for ingredients that may contain diary. I feel so pleased knowing there is a vegan restaurant that is safe for her to eat at. Food is delicious and it’s a lovely environment just a short walk from the beach. Love visiting.

Amazing vegan food! The burger, satay bubble wrap and cheesy bacon fries were to die for. Very cute inside, too. Everything is made fresh and from scratch. Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent cakes, pastries and coffee. ALL VEGAN but meat eaters love it too :) We had a cronut, a cupcake and a brownie, all delicious.

I’m not vegan however took a vegan friend and I’ve been buying from them ever since! I honestly think the cakes are better than non vegan ones!!

Have now visited 3 times and been impressed by the home made pastries. Very friendly staff and good service. Would highly recommend and of course will revisit

Stopped here on the off-chance as very busy in Margate but this is more off the beaten track with busy road outside. We were pleasantly surprised, good coffee but the most marvellous chocolate and nut croissants, all hand made on the premises. Very impressed, will be back.

I have to say, these guys make a tasty burger and it turns out to be vegan too.... personally I couldn't tell the difference, they also do great cake, we had black forest gateau chocolate brownie, fabulous!

This beautiful vegan restaurant/delivery is run by two lovely, friendly and professional couple. Their food is tasty so much so you just want more! I highly recommend this restaurant and advise anyone to ensure they visit this gem when in Margate!

Vegan options are fairly short on the ground in Margate so we were looking forward to our visit. We're also very keen to support independents as opposed to chains however our experience here was pretty unforgivable. We arrived to a half full restaurant and was told by the waitress (who was very polite and apologetic throughout) that our food would would be 15 to 20 mins which was absolutely fine by us. Our order was taken promptly and our coffees arrived quickly...1 hour later having chased it once our food finally arrived and once again the waitress was very apologetic for the delay. The food was fine however what is baffling is how pre-bought veg burgers/sausages could take so long to prepare (plus £9 for a burger and a few crisps isn't cheap). The final insult was when we asked for a discount from the bill as a gesture for having had to wait so long the chef initially refused...he reluctantly agreed eventually but when we got home we realised it hadn't been removed from the bill after all. I'm all for independent businesses and particularly plant based eateries but can I suggest the owner of the Seaside Kitchen takes a look at how Potato Tomato in Whitstable is run both in terms of logistics and customer service.

Waiter over 2 and a half weeks for a voucher delivery (which still hasnt arrived) Recieved very unprofessional emails and then they cancelled my order despite me asking them not too even though it was so late. Such a shame small businesses can get away with that service and even more of a shame I've been forced to unsupport a small local business which is such a positive thing to do.

We are not vegan but we always looking for nice, tasty food. This was our second visit and the food was just perfect. I hade a burger my partner to , was so good and well made so my partner choose to take a second one , great taste even better than meaty one ! Highly recommend to every one.

First trip to the Seaside Kitchen and Cake parlour, the food was amazing, freshly prepared and so flavoursome! Staff were so friendly and everything was very reasonably priced! We will definitely be visiting again soon! Thank you very much for a great meal!

Took my elderly disabled mother to Margate for her birthday. She’s also vegan so need to be sure we can find somewhere lovely for her to eat and that there’s a seat. I was able to book in advance via email. It’s only a small cafe away from the main front and hustle of Old Town but only by a short walk. This meant it was quiet. We were late but the table was held. I’m not a vegan but the menu choice was varied and full of delicious looking choices. A mix of cold bagels and open sandwiches, bubble wraps, burgers and lots of sweet options. Service was friendly but most of all the food was good. Freshly made and tasty. The cakes were a real hit and with take away options too my mum left with a bag to go of extra vegan delights. Worth seeking out if you’re vegan and if you’re not!

Vegan sandwiches, sausage roll, scones and cakes. You’ll be hard put to finish it. On top of which as much tea coffee or juice as you wish - bottomless coffee pots. They do vegan egg and smoked salmon sandwiches!!

The Seaside Kitchen & Cake Parlour is a delightful little cafe in Margate. It is Kent’s first all vegan cafe, kitchen, & cake shop. We had an Oreo milkshake, chocolate cake, and lemon and raspberry cake. Everything was so delicious, you would never know it’s vegan. The vegan food being created in 2019 is amazing. You can’t tell these desserts were made with plant based milk and egg alternatives, so don’t let the v word throw you off. If you have an active sweet tooth you won’t want to miss the Seaside Kitchen & Cake Parlour. They also serve a lunch menu, coffees, and teas. There are plenty of incredible options to pick from. It’s a cute little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. They are open Wednesday - Sunday, 11-5. The service is very personable and excellent. The Seaside Kitchen & Cake Parlour is a Margate gem.

This is a long overdue review for this charming cafe and its delicious meals and cakes. I have visited numerous times for lunch, afternoon tea and the Sunday all-you-can-eat buffet and the place never disappoints. The owner also made my birthday cake this year and my family raved about how excellent it was. They will now be making mine and my parter's wedding cake this summer and I must commend them on how organised and helpful they were during our cake consultation. I can't wait to see it on the day! Truly a one of a kind gap in the market, this cafe will charm both vegans and non-vegans alike.

Okay so this place is fantastic! everything is vegan, I didn't personally have any cake but my friends did and they really enjoyed. I had the pulled BBQ burger and it was so full of flavour, I enjoyed it very much. I also had 2 shakes, the strawberries and cream one and the banana and cinnamon one. I had to have 2 because the first one was so tasty I simply had to try another! I also posted some footage of my time on youtube (lydilou vlogs) in case anyone was interested to see what the food looks like. Definitely recommend!

Ich war zu Besuch bei Freunden und sah das kleine, süße Café. Ich ging rein um einen Kaffee zu trinken. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Sie empfohlen mir einen Burger und ich musste ihn probieren. Ich war begeistert!!! Ein absolutes Geschmackserlebnis. Zum Nachtisch gab es noch ein Stück Kuchen. Nie hab ich besser vegan gegessen! Ich kann nur jedem empfehlen dort essen zu gehen.

We received a gift voucher for the Seaside Kitchen and Cake Parlour for Christmas. After an hour drive, we arrived at the restaurant. We were surprised to find the restaurant doesn’t have a toilet, so we had to walk back up the road to Morrison’s. This may cause a problems for a few customers. We were the only people in the restaurant but the two people working seemed very busy setting up another table. We ordered a bagel each along with a coffee. My bagel of vegan salmon was actually really good! We also ordered at the same time some table water but never actually received this. After our bagels, we ordered a waffle and Oreo blonde cake along with another coffee each. Service was fine throughout. Restaurant was fairly quiet throughout our visit but this was probably due to it being a Wednesday and the weather being bad. Would return if we were in Margate but wouldn’t make a special visit.

Lovely treat for my wife's birthday. We had vegan buffet of sandwiches and cake. Very delicious even for a meat eater like myself. Will come again with children

I’ve eaten a lot of cake in my vegan (and non-vegan life) but these cakes bring me close to tears, no word of a lie. And it’s not just the cakes, the milkshakes, the other pastries and savoury options, they’re all equally as amazing! If your in Kent at all, not even just Margate, you genuinely have to come here!!!!

We visited for lunch on the first day of our trip after stumbling upon this place online. I had a sandwich and my partner had waffles, both accompanied by super tasty milkshakes. We also got some cakes to take away and I loved one of them so much, we went back on the second day to get more!

We were on a day trip to Margate to check out the Art and the town when we popped into Seaside Cake Parlour for a snack after our journey.

Stumbled upon this place whilst visiting Margate for the day and boy, what a lovely surprise. The staff are trendy, hip and friendly and the food is just amazing. Had vegan salmon bagel for lunch and it was so good that we returned in the evening for our dinner. Dinner was the best vegan BBQ burger I've ever tasted plus the best cream tea (scones, cream and jam) I've tasted to date.. Food is freshly prepared and very very tasty. Well done guys!!!!

This little cafe is just down the road from me so I really have to stop myself visiting too often. The food is homemade and totally delicious, we absolutely love it. I'm the only Vegan in my family but I've bought a number of family members here and they loved it too! She does a Sunday Brunch buffet which is so good and we always leave very full! As well as the Cafe she also makes amazing Cakes but unfortunately both my Partner and his Dad tried contacting to have one made for my Birthday but had no luck with a reply which is a shame.

We love this place. Visited again just after they had repainted and changed the lay out. More tables which is better. We all had drinks and food. Very tasty. Lovely hot chocolate with vegan marshmallow and white chocolate syrup. High recommended. Totally vegan. Outstanding cakes.

I went with a friend on Saturday (yesterday) on a day trip to Margate. I'd been looking forward to visiting the Seaside cake parlour and wasn't disappointed! The young lady who was working there was really nice - very friendly and equally helpful. The setting is quaint and comfortable - we sat in little armchairs by the window, next to an (obviously unlit in the height of summer!) fireplace. There were lots of things I would have liked to have ordered from the menu, had we had more time - there are several toasted bagels, waffles, crepes and milkshakes (all vegan) on offer, as well as the usual tea, coffee etc. The various cakes and pastries at the counter/in the fridge looked delicious too.

It is absolutely lovely in there. Brought my friends and all sat in there for milkshakes and cakes! The atmosphere was charming and friendly. Really lovely friendly staff who strive to make you as comfortable as possible and ensure you are well fed! You will taste the best food in that place that nowhere else can beat!! Delicious!!

The place to go for all your vegan treats. Milkshakes, tea, coffee, cakes, pastries and sandwiches. I love to eat vegan where I can so I love that this quaint little tea room offers gluten free options too!

The Seaside Cake Parlour is my whole family's favourite place for cake! Plus loads of choice for breakfast lunch drinks and sausage rolls which everybody loves! Dog friendly, eat-in and takeaway options, cute decor and amazingly friendly owner! Always my first recommendation for people visiting Margate! X

Owned by a clearly very talented and artistic cake connoisseur - the cakes and other bites available here are simply amazing. I visited Kim's previous cake shop in London on multiple occasions and I'm so glad she's set up business in my home county.

As more of us learn of the sufferings of animals reared for meat and dairy products it is good to discover another purely vegan eatery. This is a small cafe and cake shop providing tasty savoury and sweet options, and an excellent range of mouth-watering cakes to eat in or to take-away. Very efficient and friendly service at reasonable prices and my wife and I look forward to a return visit.

Absolutely amazing food. Am totally hooked on the homemade iced tea with ginger and mint. The ice cream is delicious. Best vegan Cafe around.

It had been too long since my last visit and the anticipation was worth it, tidy tasty crustless sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and cheesecake, what's not to like. visit this place fast before it gets too popular.

Popped in for a "sausage" roll and ended up having a (soya) milkshake and cake too! All delicious. Such a great selection to choose from and lovely service. Recommended.

Lovely little cake shop, there isn't much of a seating area, so may be best to take out and eat at the seaside. But the cakes are delightful, and I was surprised for an 'all-vegan' cake shop. Definitely worth going to if you're looking for a light bite to eat. Would go again.

Made trip especially to try this cafe. Had checked website for opening times and were so disappointed to see note on the door saying it was closed due to delivery of wedding cake.

This place is lovely. A cosy space, filled with treats. We had the sausage rolls which were delicious. Although I'm not a fan of tofu, I tried the tofu bagel, and it was quite nice. Definitely recommended.

The place has a lovely shabby chic vibe and everything is vegan - so already a prefect place to seek out. Until you try the food - absolutely amazing! The cakes are phenomenal and can easily stand up to any dairy offering - I didn't even know vegan cake could be so light! Unfortunately I am also a sucker for a veggie sausage roll and think I have finally found the best in the world. I would drive back from Somerset to have another one here. Luckily I was with a very good friend who bought me one to take away as well.

I had planned to visit here with friends but had been scared off by it being all vegan and not very big.

I love the seaside cake parlour so much, in fact so much that my lovely friends organised my baby shower here today. The spread was out of this world, the vegan sandwich selection was so delicious and had so much variety and the cakes were unbelievable and it looked so pretty!

This place is amazing!! The cakes are to die for and are far superior to any bakery I have tried on my travels. My dairy free youngest now doesn't need to miss out. TIP: Try the rose lemonade, it's wonderfully refreshing.

We had lunch in this charming little vegan café. I went for the Oreo shake which was absolutely amazing, topped with squirty vegan cream and crushed oreos.. For main I had the tofurella and sundried tomato bagel and hubby had the veganaisse "egg mayo" which was surprisingly like the real thing. He then followed with a Belgian bun, topped with caramel sauce. All in all a brilliant find for a lovely lunch - I know they also do afternoon tea which I plan to sample one day too.

Took my non-vegan hubby here today and he was really impressed! We both had the Oreo shake which were delicious. Hubby tucked into the avocado bagel and I had the scrambled 'egg' tofu which was a million times nicer than when I make it at home! The vegan mayo is the best I've tasted. We were spoilt for choice with the cake selection, they all looked so tempting. I went for a cookie choc chip cookie sandwich; it was the best thing I've eaten since going vegan! Can't wait to go back!

All I can say is non vegans and vegans this is a little gem in the ever growing Margate crown, you will feel the welcome as soon as you walk through the door, great service, great cakes.... great for people watching, and they had rose and lemonade tea added bonus :) so many places are hard to buy herbal tea unless it is mint or fruit....so boring, just like to say afternoon tea is live and kicking in Margate x

Wow! We happened upon this lovely cafe and cake shop on a day trip to Margate yesterday. We had three cakes - red velvet, a cinnamon swirl and victoria sponge and some teas and they were amazing! The range of cakes looked scrumptious and we had a lovely chat with the baker herself about some of the lovely things she makes. Probably the best Vegan cakes we've ever had! Wish they could deliver to South London !

Really lovely vegan afternoon tea - delicious sandwiches, fabulous scones and beautiful cakes. Couldn't fault it, and enjoyed by ages from 3 to 94 today. Lovely little cafe, will definitely be visiting again

Really fabulous and tasty cakes, as a vegan I'm not use to so much choice, It was difficult to choose. Opted for a good old ring doughnut and coffee. Such a friendly little Cafe don't miss out.

If I hadn't been told before I went that everything on the menu is vegan I wouldn't have guessed. This little cafe, 8 seats total on 3 tables, is a little gem for vegans. We went on Sunday lunch time and we're lucky enough to get a table for 4 when another couple move for us. The menu consists of bagel, crepes, waffles, cakes, tea, coffee and shakes. I had the egg mayo bagel which was excellent, sausage roll - I would go back just for this, tea & peanut butter shake. My son tried the banana and chocolate pancake that he wasn't keen on- if I hadn't got so much for me i would have finished it, a chocolate shake and a scone with jam and cream that was also very good. Our bill was £21.50 which is little expensive for lunch but we did have a lot of food! You can prebook for afternoon tea, which another couple were having and it looked excellent. They also do takeaway. I highly recommend this cafe whether you are vegan or not. Although I would recommend getting takeaway during peak lunchtime and take it to the beach which is only a short walk around the corner. Service was excellent:)

Stumbled across this little gem whilst searching for 'vegan' on Trip Advisor. My partner is vegan and had a chocolate waffle, I am not vegan but had the pancake with banana and chocolate sauce. Both of us found these absolutely delicious. We saw on the menu that they also do a small selection of savoury food. I wish I'd known that before as we would have had lunch here too ;-)

We travelled to Margate specifically to try out this all-vegan cafe. Small and therefore a limited number of seats, but very welcoming and a big menu to choose from. We had the very decadent hot chocolates and I had the pecan pastry whilst my fiancé had the coconut sponge cake. Both were delicious. It would be great to see more sugar-free and raw options on offer though. We'll be back for the afternoon tea, it sounds great!

We were visiting Margate shopping, me and my partner needed the toilet and came across this little cafe. We went in to the cafe and was greeted with a smiley face. We ordered our food and drink ( disappointed there was no coca cola ) We ordered choc crepes and they were brought out quickly.

Beautiful artisan cakes, afternoon tea, wedding and birthday cakes, lunch and much more. Lovely little shop, well presented and delicious cakes and food. Freshly made, catering to book, friendly and welcoming.

We were treated to a most unique and delicious vegan cream tea, with crustless sandwiches, cream cakes and the most incredible scones with clotted cream and jam. Visit this place and enjoy a cruelty free high tea like no other. Also we were made very welcome and the service was perfect.

I had a waffle with chocolate sauce (as it's impossible to find vegan waffles in the UK!). It was very good. I also bought some treats to take away, including chocolate croissant, sausage roll and almond pastry. All were excellent. I would highly recommend. I understand that the bakery also does custom order on fancy cakes and will deliver to London and the surrounding area.

This is a great vegan tea Rooms. It sells cakes, savory and lite snacks. The cakes are well priced and delicious. Coffee and tea well priced. All served up with that little extra please see pictures. I would highly recommend to vegans and non vegans. A must.

We picked out Seaside Cake Parlour as we have a dairy free friend and had heard about the vegan afternoon tea. It was fantastically presented, all the cakes, scones and sandwiches were lovely and looked amazing. Would recommend to anyone, esp vegan/gluten free.

Visited this place for a friends birthday to have afternoon tea. My friend is vegan and finds it difficult to eat out quite often but this place offered various options for her and came in at around £12 each I think so quite affordable. The shop is very small and seats around 10 people in total so is perfect for a small group to take it over with a booking, and they offer a grab and go service for people fancying a bit of cake to wander along the sea front/take home. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the cakes were gorgeous! Would definitely recommend the Seaside Cake Parlour.

Really friendly little cafe. Everything is vegan. A wide choice of cakes, from large slices of cake to little cupcakes. some gluten free choices on offer too. highly recommended
