Absolutely awful. The food is bland. 2 of us had chicken burger, no salad or relish, just an overcooked deep fried chicken burger in a cheap dry floury bun. Businesses like this don't deserve to still be around. They are located in a lovely garden and could do so much better with decent food and pleasant staff.

I don't think you could even pay the staff to smile or look happy! Especially the older woman, she barked at me 'you need to pay!!!' after I went to my table to put my bag down, I went to find a table because the young boy who was taking my order disappeared for ages. They all look miserable, with the older man swearing and saying other awful things to other staff members and threatening their jobs for not doing what he asked of them quick enough. Wouldn't be so bad if the food was alright but it was awful too! No freshly made anything, all out of a packet and they can't be bothered to bring it to your table so they just scream orders from the top of the hill until you get it yourself whilst theyre doing nothing. Such a shame this cafe was our only eating experience in Weymouth, gives a bad name to the place.

So as I live in Weymouth and visit the beach regularly, we sit near this cafe and get our coffees and ice creams here. Lately I have been bringing an empty bottle for my baby and I get 6oz and the lady charges me £1. The other day she wasn’t there and the older man served and said £1.50! I mean what a joke, you can get 4 pints for £1 and they are asking £1.50 for 6oz. I said that is a joke asking for that money and he said nothing. The older man is very rude, I’ve seen him be rude to others on many occasions whilst being in the queue, the hot food is terrible and so overpriced. Won’t be giving them my custom anymore after this!

Arrived at this cafe to get some Chips for the beach. The service we received was absolutely dreadful. We have never experienced such bad customer service from an establishment. There were 2 female staff members and 1 male staff member and all of them were rude. We weren't sure who was the owner but we assumed it was one of them if not all 3 as they looked a similar age to each other. My friend asked for some ketchup and one of the female staff members chucked it at her. The staff members were gossiping about people, completely unprofessional. They don't deserve any customers at their establishment. We saw a couple about to walk up and order and me and my friend told them to stay away which they did. This obviously didn't go down well with the staff members as we heard more gossiping and nasty remarks. Please avoid this place at all costs. Please do the people of Weymouth a favour and close your place down and retire.

This cafe should be taken over by the local council, the customer service is very poor, all staff don't care and are plain rude. Ordered 2 coffees and 2 bacon baps. Was given 1 cheese burger, explained that this was not my order, woman just huffed at me and walked off, waited and got our correct order, asked for ketchup, the woman just looked at me and walked off, had to ask another server for ketchup. Every staff person is rude and miserable and you are made to feel very unwelcome. Close the place down if you don't want to give your customers good service, your customers are the ones putting their hard earned cash in your pockets, show a bit more respect towards your customers and try to break a smile now and again.

This cafe is surviving on its location alone. You get the same fantastic views from Jurassic Rocks Cafe! The food is cheap frozen supermarket food. You will be served exactly what you order, plonked on a plate with no side salad or garnish. We had to wait more than 20 minutes for our vegetable burgers (predominantly made of smash style potato) to arrive. If you want something on the side you can choose chips or chips! The staff are unfriendly. This cafe has absolutely no regard for the environment; they still have plastic straws, plastic sachets of sauce (20p each!) and no recycling bins.

Ordered a cappuccino. It came from a machine and cost £2.30. It had no depth of flavour at all so I asked the young lad to check if the machine was empty. I heard him discussing the issue with the ladies behind the counter. They checked, said it was fine and i was told that's how it comes out of the machine. I felt so embarrassed by their behaviour. At one point I heard one lady say, "it's lovely coffee" as if I was unable of having a point of view. I suggested they put an espresso shot in and they said it was £1.50!I left my coffee.Utterly inept people (bar one lady who was kind) Definately not qualified to serve and certainly no idea what coffee should taste like.No idea of customer service, they all seemed to be put out by customers and in bad moods.

We are local, my mum is elderly and cannot walk too far, and this is just about the right distance for her! So we have found ourselves here for lunch a few times in the last few weeks. The canopy over the tables provides shade and she can easily sit on the picnic table seats and swing her legs round. With beautiful surroundings - that view, and all of the marvellous flower beds, it is a perfect place to sit and eat.Unlike other reviewers, the rubbish pot in the middle of the table doesn't bother us, in fact it is an excellent idea I'd say! The staff have never been anything other than friendly, welcoming, and quick to bring our orders. We've had a variety of food, from scones, toasted tea cakes, filled jacket potatoes and today, my favourite yet - a fish finger bap - it was 50p extra for mayo, which seemed a bit steep, however rather than the tiny sauce packets other places supply, it was a large 'posh' version and complemented the fish fingers nicely! We enjoy both the tea and coffee and I would say the food and drinks prices are about average. Hopefully we will continue to visit during the summer months. I would and have recommended this place to family and friends.

Got here having just packed up to vacate our accomodation. We intended to spend a while here enjoying breakfast and coffee and then after a day in Weymouth return home. We had enjoyed a lovely week eating out every night and not being disappointed once as every establishment had been top notnotch. We approached a couple sitting outside drinking coffee, we understandably assumed they were customers. We were surprised to see that a closed sign was on the counter but clearly the shutters were up and these people were sat outside. They said that the cafe would be open for breakfast in a few minutes (it was by now 8.50am!) so we said "oh, okay we have walked a long way and have been up since 6.30 packing up" this was not said in a nasty way, we were simply disappointed that we would need to move on. The gentleman then got up and started to get the counter ready, he didn't appear to be entirely happy but never the less did make some efforts to talk to us about the breakfast as unhelpfully this is not on the board. The lady was what can only be described as unfriendly, impatient and down right rude. She wasn't at all helpful when I asked if I could have a smaller breakfast instead just said "have the bacon roll instead" this wasn't what I had in mind at all. Infact, we had planned to return for afternoon tea before setting off for our homeward bound journey, instead we took our business elsewhere.

As the title says - this is a lovely place, part way between Bowleaze Cove and Weymouth town centre. Good place for a pit stop and a coffee or an ice cream. They also do a good range of lunchtime snacks - ie sandwiches/pasties/baps etc and a good cream tea

The Seascape Cafe has to have one of the most colourful locations with great views in the area.It is set in Weymouth's award-winning Greenhill Gardens and is a welcome place to visit for a sit down and a cup of coffee or a snack while having a break. The prices here are very reasonable with coffee at £1.80, tea at £1.40, bacon or sausage baps at £3 and meals such as cod and chips for £7.50 or gammon egg and chips for £5.50.There are no shortage of picnic tables to sit at and enjoy looking at the gardens, the wonderful seascape views or just to people watch because the promenade is runs right by the cafe on the other side of a stone wall and hedge.Entry is wheelchair friendly and, contrary to some reviews of this cafe, I found staff approachable and friendly. I'd definitely come back.

Found this by accident when walking into Weymouth along the sea front. Had cream teas which were lovely. Plenty of jam and cream and no funny looks when I asked for a coffee not tea!

Nicely positioned cafe locking down onto the beach and out to Weymouth Bay. My only moan is that the prices are a little high compered to some other. That said its nice to have a sandwich and cold drink with a nice garden and the sea out in front of you.

I regularly visit weymouth due to family connections. Although the gardens here are beautiful, the seascape cafe is far from it. We were served by a lady so rude it baffles me why she would work in a job dealing with members of the public. The food was poor and slow to arrive. Weymouth has many, many fantastic cafés; this is not one of them. Do yourself a favour and visit one of the many better examples.

can not rate the cafe as did not use it but the gardens are beautiful and easily missed, as they are inbetween weymouth town and lodmoor .They are well kept and wemouth should be proud of them.

I wouldn't say that I was a regular to seascape cafe, though every time I'm in the area I always make sure to go and visit as the food is delicious and great value with one of the best views in the area! Looking at some of the other reviews I'm very surprised at the negativity towards the staff. The staff are very friendly, patient and welcoming and even gave directions and shared local knowledge with the person in front of me in the queue. I've never had anything less than service with a smile! Seascape is definitely worth stopping at if you're passing by or enjoying the nearby beach.

I cannot recommend the chips at seascape highly enough, it was a very good sized portion for the price and sauce was included-which is rare from a beach cafe!! I have read previous reviews and am shocked as I found the staff incredibly friendly and they even took time to ask about my day so far!! As a regular to greenhill beach I will certainly be back at this cafe again and look forward to trying some of their huge selection of cakes!!

We ordered three drinks and a jacket potato and beans on a lovely summer Saturday lunchtime. The woman who served us seemed to resent having to do so and displayed no people skills. When we asked if she supplied milk shakes she coldly showed us a bottled version in the chiller. We felt unwelcome. They weren't particularly busy. The food took a long time to arrive. They have lost our custom but I don't think it will worry them.

I wanted to leave a review and when I read the previous it made me want to leave one even more. Seascape is a beach kiosk with outside seating and offers inside service with silver cutlery and porcelain crockery outside just metres from the sea, with table service. The food is typical of a seafront kiosk with a huge menu to choose from and the service is great for a busy little place. Highly recommended, we are regulars and return every year.

Long walk from Bowleaze cove to weymouth meant a stop was needed, we had jacket potato with tuna, which was just that I asked if it came with salad , and was told no! Just a nice sorry it dosent would of been nice, a panini with cheese and maybe two slices of tomato, it could of been so much better, with a little garnish, it was brought over to the table where we were sitting, and we were told the cutlery was back at the counter, just a little more enthusiasm if u r running a what could be a lovely cafe, that makes u want to go back and tell others to go to, but we won't be, u either want to have a successful business or not bother, as I said it seems just the view makes people want to stop.

A day out in beautiful Weymouth could so easily have been spoilt by a very rude aggressive cafe owner who told me his name was Christopher Wren. I bought a sandwich and unfortunately I found a hair in it. I returned it and requested a refund. I was accused, not only by Christopher Wren but also by the person who had made the sandwich, of putting the hair in it myself to get a refund. I was made to feel like a criminal. I did eventually get half my money back, but not a word of apology. It is a shame about my very unpleasant experience because the cafe is in a great location in lovely Weymouth.

My friend and I went today 12/10/24 for lunch, we sat in the self service area inside which dogs were allowed as we had a dog with us, It was a very cold area so I kept my coat on. Service was slow and diabolical. No cutlery what so ever, I went straight to the bar and asked for some knives and forks and was told by a staff member “ I’ll bring some over to you, that never happened, so I went into the restaurant over to an empty table and got some cutlery from there. The food was served hot (by the same person who said he’d bring some cutlery over and never did!) and was very nice food.
