Bed accommodation ( breakfast is available for extra cost), lovely comfortable room on first floor close to sea wall, if you like to sleep hearing the waves it’s a must. Very clean accommodation and shower / en-suite Parking is free behind on the street but limited, there is plenty paid parking no too far away

We stopped here for lunch and the pub was so busy so walked a bit further along and found this delightful cafe. Service was through the window due to covid and we grabbed the end of a bench seat. It was a beautiful day and the sun was shining. The sandwiches were so good, all served in a recyclable cardboard box and we had a beer too. Service with a smile and friendly chat. They were busy but the food was delicious. All fresh and hand made.

We stayed here for one night as part of our south west coast path walk so we had seen plenty of places to compare it with. The welcome from Bonnie was very warm and although the room was not the largest we stayed in you could not be any closer to the sea without being on the beach. No excuse not to swim! The breakfast was easily the best of the week with fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, and wonderful fluffy American pancakes with bacon and blueberries. To top it all there was radio 3 playing in the background. The welcome could not have been warmer and I would thoroughly recommend this charming spot at the end of Slapton Sands.

I stopped off for a takeaway coffee and a cake! After a lot of umming an ahhing I finally decided on a scone with butter and jam. ( I'm watching my waistline!!). A few minutes wait as they were quite busy and then it arrived. Off I trotted down the beach with my takeaway.....I found myself a nice quiet bit of beach and opened up my container. What greeted me was the lightest fluffiest most amazing scone I have ever tasted! It was so soft and was like a fluffy cloud. I didn't use the butter just the jam. This was lovely too. This is definitely my new go to place when I am down there. I will be having cream with it next time! Absolutely gorgeous.

First Visit at 11am on 30th July as a family of four. Food only available as takeout but able to eat on tables outside the cafe. We were given a really friendly welcome & helped with our choices through recommendations. Had decent coffees. Fabulous bacon baguettes on good quality bread. The boys had freshly made pancakes that were excellent. Overall great service, quality & tasty food that was well prepared. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

Good food. We had a sausage and egg baguette. Really enjoyed it. It did take 40 mins to give us the food after the 9:30 opening. I believe this was due to the bb element of the business being busy and also it being the busiest time of the year. Staff were very friendly.

Lovely location for refreshments after walk along the beach. However frustrating hospitality workers are finding Covid restrictions/ slow return to normal, they are not going to survive if they don’t give clients a warm welcoming service as they start to return to seaside venues. The impression was they wanted our money but not particularly our presence.

We were on holiday in nearby Beesands and decided to walk to Torcross along the South West coastal path. There are a number of pubs/cafes quite close together but chose the Seabreeze as it was the only place that had a free outside table. We were not disappointed!Hubby had a toasted cheese and chutney sandwich with side salad, I had a chicken sandwich with mayonnaise and red currant jelly. We shared a portion of chips ( I actually ordered and paid for cheesy chips but the cheese had gone AWOL). Hubby had a lovely strawberry milkshake and I had a gin & tonic and a black coffee. Everything was lovely. The total bill was just under £30. Not the cheapest lunch in the world but the quality was second to none.

Food was ok although tea cake was rather overpriced and coffee was insipid. Cheese and Chutney sandwich was nice as was cup of tea. It was the male member of staff who put us off and we clearly didn't share his sense of humour. When we asked for a pot of tea he replied with 'What kind of cafe would we be if we didn't serve tea?' Then as we were finishing, he put the closed sign up saying that 'he had had enough...he was tired.'All rather bizarre.

Happened across this lovely cafe when looking lunch along the promenade. Two of us wanted something light and I was looking for a vegan option (not easy in this Devon area I found). The cafe is a typical seaside cafe with lots of wood and pastel colours and scrupulously clean throughout. There are seats inside and out with ordering inside. My friends had mackeral pate (hand-made) which they described as the best they had ever had, fresh salad, coleslaw and toast. Unlike many establishments, my request for a plant based lunch was taking seriously by the lovely, smiling owner who offered to adapt anything on the menu. In the end, I had a huge deep sandwich brimming with salad and a plant spread and some crisp skinny fries. They had oat milk so I could have a pot of tea too. The staff were lovely and welcoming and checked twice with us that we were happy with the food. The toilet was extremely clean and the whole experience at this cafe was a happy one. Thank you Seabreeze - it's these little touches that make for a memorable holiday. Highly recommend you.

This is a great little cafe. It has a good range of coffees and teas and plenty of cakes. The usual savoury options are all there as well. We hit the Cream Tea, it's Devon, it has to be done at least once on a visit. The scone was lovely and fresh and the jam and cream in abundance. I though put the jam on the scone and the cream on top, a la the Cornish Way. Reasoning? I have a moustache, cream is easier to get out of a moustache than jam is. I think my point is proven. Having travelled around the wonderful coves and lanes of the South Devon area at the end of October in unseasonally warm weather, I looked forward to tasting my favourite snacky food at any of the local cafes we passed. Well, this is Devon, right, land of cream teas, right? Well, er, not quite. Scones where I come from, or ones we bake at home, are large affairs, with a slightly crumbly texture, a slight bite to them, a small amount of browning on top contrasting with the light layer of white dusting. Devon scones seem to come as small, very smooth textured, even glazed looking on top. Ok, if that's how you like them... Having tasted this type of disappointing scone (usually not made on site either, and sometimes microwaved from frozen - that's just not right, surely) I made one last call at the Seabreeze Café. Well, this was best scone of the week, it looked right, it had the right texture and I enjoyed it. Good coffee and very nice ice-cream were also consumed in this beautifully-situated café.

I've visited Torcross for over ten years now, each time stopping at Seabreeze for breakfast or dinner or afternoon tea during many, many visits.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent service. Cakes and scones were delicious and portions generous. Coffee good. What more can you ask? Superb sea front position? Yes!

There's not many October mornings when you can stroll along the seashore with a warm breeze in your face then sit outside a very"Famous Five" type cafe and enjoy thick sliced cured bacon, meaty pork sausage, two fried eggs, toast and lashings of hot coffee sitting outside as the waves break gently on shingle. Well you can here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our good strong Americano coffees. We usually ask for double shots, but were advised that wouldn't be necessary - quite correct. My husband chose a cheese scone which was excellent, and I just had to choose the scone with jam and cream, which after a long walk went down a treat. What I would like to commend was the attitude of the young staff, who didn't turn a hair when we turned up about 10 minutes before they closed, we hadn't notice the time. We were politely served and didn't feel hurried. Well done. Would happily return to try lunches etc, if in the area again.

We have been to this cafe a few times this year and also a few years ago. The food is really good and the service is great too. We've had breakfasts and lunch and a cream tea too. The cakes look amazing but we sadly never got round to trying them. The pancakes are light and fluffy and the crab sandwiches were lovely. However, I will say that the cooked breakfast options are a little strange with a veggie breakfast of eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and toast, then a meat breakfast with sausage, bacon, egg and toast. You can then add extras but I think most people would just have everything in one breakfast including the veggie and meat options so not sure why they don't do a full English too. The breakfasts are reasonably low price though so adding a few extras is not really an issue. If you have a big appetite then you are likely to want to add some extras in. I think it is great value for the area but everything is a little more expensive in this part of Devon. I would definitely recommend this cafe for breakfast or lunch plus you can sit outside by the sea in nice weather which is always a bonus.

I'm quite sad to give this place a poor review because I have had a nice cup of tea here before, I'm afraid this time I didn't even stop for a drink, the manager (or man who seemed to be in charge) was so rude to customers and staff that I walked out, I thought at first he was doing some sort of Fawlty Towers skit but it was genuine, fortunately there are other wonderful establishments a few yards away, I can thoroughly recommend the pub and the Boathouse restaurant and we ate in those every day instead.

I came here the other morning on a very windy day and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The young girl behind the counter was very friendly and polite.

Stayed here for one night lovely little pub rooms very nice and cosy unfortunately couldn’t watch tv as there wasn’t a remote and couldn’t use the shower as the button was missing of it which definitely would of been noticed on cleaning … the carpet in stairs were quite dirty and the people I didn’t find very welcoming sadly

Christmas lunch for 12 of us. Pre ordered from a balanced and varied seasonal menu that included fish and vegetarian options. Excellent value and we were very well looked after. Exceptional selection of well cooked Vegetables, recipe for the red cabbage please . Some of us were disappointed that we didn't have room for a desert ! This is a family owned proper pub with helpful competent staff. Parking right opposite but payment by card challenged some of us oldies.

Limited opening times, No food so asked out of curtesy if grandson could eat a snack. Was told no but to eat outside in the garden which had a closed sign on the gate, so had eat in the smoking area. Didn't feel particularly welcome. No alternative snack was offered. Wasn't very accommodating, we were staying local and would have returned for a meal but they said closed Monday and Tuesday and we would need to book if wanted to return. I would advise anyone to give this pub a a miss as there are much better pubs in the area
