Lovely food and was a lovely little cafe inside

Lovely morning to have tea (well I had Coffee) and scones with my friend Jackie, we had fruit scones with jam and clotted cream, delicious - will definitely be back, had to have another cuppa because the heavens opened but no one's complaining :)

Scones are delicious , and coffee is always hot . Very quick service, and I would certainly recommend and would go again .

Lovely cafe,with great service.only downside is I always pop in for tea and toast,but toast is served with ice cold butter portion, which is impossible to spread,

The most tasteful strawberry cheesecake I’ve eaten in my life with stunning view.

Food was fantastic, had 2 breakfasts and 2 toasties with chips. The food arrived hot unlike several other establishments in Whitley Bay. The quality of the food was fantastic. Price was brilliant for what you got. Defo recommend trying.

We went for breakfast today and both were disappointed. My poached eggs were hard, toast was warm bread and the cinnamon toast tasted sour (we were given a refimund for the toast with no quibbles).

Well presented delicious full English breakfast, same with the tuna mayo jacket potato. Nice coffee and hot chocolate. Pleasant staff , definitely be back . Thanks

Cold soggy chips, low quality bad tasting fish, disgusting coffee and the rudest staff/owner I've every met. Steer clear!

Bland food, flat beer, rude aggressive owner!

Didn’t even make it through the door. I attempted to stop here to shelter my baby and 4 year old from a torrential downpour in the awning. They clearly had too few customers in to actually concentrate on them and instead wound back their awning to ensure my kids got soaked. Awful, mean spirited behaviour. Please take your custom elsewhere.

Tacky decor.expensive.Pancakes bland,need to be sweet American style for bacon. Service was good, but won't be back.

We were out for a walk and decided to stop here for a coffee wish we had not bothered.Got to be the worst coffee we have had in a long time weak lacking in taste and not the hottest.Food on next table had not been cleared and was was attracting local Starlings that were crapping on the table top and seats. Will not bother again.

Great location looking out over Cullercoats harbour, Nice breakfast and a lovely coffee. Fast and friendly service, would return if passing.

My pal and I out on a walk along the coast decided that this should be our refreshment stop. Weather was poor so indoors was best. Nice airy location with tables sensibly spaced. Noticeable that the place (including the rest rooms) was nipping clean. Coffee was good and the scones served warm were a treat. Service was swift ,friendly and helpful. We were there around lunch time and it was about half full. Am sure if the weather was better it would have been busier and in fairness they deserve success.

My Sister in law and I call in every Wednesday after a lovely walk with the dog 🐕 They have delicious food especially the fruit scones. Super dog friendly cafe.

Excellent view of Cullercoats bay. Lovely food, pot of hot water along with pot of tea, always a sign of excellence according to my wife! Tuna toastie was excellent too, friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Excellent pit stop for our walk from Whitley Bay to Tynemouth. Staff are so lovely and the food it excellent.

What a horrible experience we had at this place. The staff was very rude and lacked service skills. when we arrived the music was so loud you could not hear yourself speak. We had a voucher for a cream tea, we tried to get the staffs attention to ask what was included...you would have thought it was a afternoon tea or maybe a scaled-down version with scone a cakes. No-one explained so we thought we will wait for it to come, the service staff brought out a very large plate that had a scone pot of jam, one butter and some cream and that was it!!! We asked if this was it or was there additional items coming, she said she would check but she never came back to let us know. The manager never approached the table to offer an apology, we, if fact were ignored. It was the worst place we have ever been into in this area that had some wonderful cafes. We left there and went to Beaches and Cream and had a wonderful lunch with fantastic service. I will never recommed *Sea You There Cafe* to anyone.

Great vibe here, perfect cafe to take in the sea view and have a coffee and breakfast.

Average at best for food and over priced for the surroundings. The male staff member was extremely rude. Wouldn't recommend or revisit.

I visited last Sunday for breakfast and was delighted with the service as well as the food I returned this morning and once again the service was excellent - even though it was busy and our breakfasts were all lovely and hot tasty and well presented A lovely birthday treat and a Prosecco too enjoying our beautiful coastline 💖

Cannot fault it, food is of a high standard, cheese cake especially big selection. Coffee is unbeatable you have to try it. Ice cream is 👍

Being a creature of habit I tend to go to the same two places in Cullercoats - The Boatyard and Cullercoats Coffee (both great for different reasons) I’d never tried Sea You There. My loss! It is fantastic. Delicious food, lovely service and views out to sea. Indoor and outdoor seating. What’s not to love?

Vegan choices as well as loads of choice from wraps and toasties to vegan feta dirty chips to hanging kebabs, coffee cocktails etc. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff

The food is fabulous, I have eaten here at least 5 times and it’s always been great. The only downside for me is the temperature, it can be quite cool. Also a couple of the staff are not as personable as you’d expect for a cafe. They don’t go the extra mile which given the near competition I can appreciate why some customers would go somewhere else.

Lovely food and nice staff but they let way to many dogs in at once, last time I was in I had to step over some on the 25 chihuahua and squash part one of the dog prams to get out. I don't mind dogs but that was far to many, I don't think I'll be back

Dog friendly cafe with a nice selection of savory options and an ever changing array of deserts and tray bakes. Perfect location for a coffee before or after taking the dog on Cullercoats Bay.

Popped in for a quick cuppa and ice cream. Had the pistachio ice cream and was very tasty. Fab view and a lovely place. Would love to come back and try more of their menu

Pleasant atmosphere, reasonably priced vegetable soup. No menu online to help decide whether to visit, not even examples on Facebook apart from fancy cakes. No soft furnishings so sound was appalling for those of us with hearing aids.

For snacks, drinks or lunches, lovely venue overlooking Cullercoats bay. Staff friendly and efficient. Bask in the sun at the outside tables or sit inside. Basic well cooked food, scrumptious cakes. Dog friendly.

I ordered a Small Chips with garlic souse on it , but instead I got a chips with no garlic souse no folk and I found a long blond hair inside..

Been a few times and never disappointed, food & coffees are lovely with a good selection that also caters for vegetarians and vegans. Staff are very nice and it's dog friendly too which is a big plus point.

Sea you there is a fantastic cafe in Cullercoats! We have been a few times now and found the food to be really tasty - simple and done really well with nice touches. I recommend the toasties and the halloumi roasted pepper wrap. The fries are also really nice as is the gelato served at the front. I like to go there with my dad after swimming in the bay and have a toastie and cullercoats beer. Happy place!

I had a meal there. The food was bad and staff were very rude. I complained to the manager which to my surprise began shouting at me. He was a real bully!

I visited cullercoats with my son and nephew today and decided to go to this cafe for breakfast. The boys are fussy and ate it all and even wanted more. The fresh orange juice was made with fresh oranges and was lovely. The ice cream display and fresh cakes was tempting so will be back later to try these. Lovely staff and even the owners came and gave the boys a lolly. 10/10 guys

Spoken to very rudely by the waitress asking me to leave as I had food from another place. I explained that my friend was buying food and I was also intending to buy a drink and dessert. Waitress said it didnt matter and I had to leave. Customers there also joined in with heckling us to leave. This was despite having my friend's 5 year old child there with us, who was obviously confused and upset about being moved suddenly. Rude staff and rough, rude clientele. Family friendly it is NOT! Will not be returning there.

The staff here are just awful and I’ve witnessed them speak horrifically to people. This included families with small children. Avoid at all costs. Sea you elsewhere.

Was really looking forward to lunch here but the staff were really rude. My son and friend had chips from Bills. They were going to have ice cream from this place and I had ordered a wrap and drink. We were asked to leave rudely, luckily I was given a refund. Fair enough their policy is no other food and drink but we were purchasing food and drinks. There's also a way to speak to customers. Terrible customer service. Will never go back!

Came along this wee gem when walking on the sea front . We ordered afternoon tea for two and it was the best afternoon tea I have had the sandwiches were delicious and so were the cakes and scones it was beautifully presented the staff were friendly a must when visiting the sea-side!

Loved it. A great sea side café with a fine view over Cullercoats Bay. Had a coffee previously and enjoyed it as it was good quality. Saw the menu and thought of returning later which I did and had, what I considered, the best full English breakfast I had ever had. Beautifully cooked and presented. (Mind you I didn't have the hash browns!). The staff were brilliant with nothing too much trouble even brought a bowl of water, unasked, for my dogs. Service with a smile. Highly recommended.

A beautiful sea front coffee shop and fish and chip restaurant. It is impeccably clean and well presented and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I brought a Chinese friend to have fish and chips for the first time and he was over the moon. Will return with my family.

We came over for the first time with our dog. We had a lovely walk and went in here to see what was on offer. We had a mocha and fish and chips. There were no mushy peas but once the fish and chips arrived (quick service) it wasn’t an issue. Fresh, good size portion of food cooked beautifully. Thin crispy batter and not greasy. Very pleased with the whole experience.

Everyone is always friendly here and I love that I can take my labrador indoors with me! Coffee and cake are great. Bright, open and a hint of a tropical vibe. Love it.

Called in late Sunday afternoon and ordered from the specials board, chicken burgers with all the trimmings, absolutely divine. When I say burgers, I mean succulent grilled chicken fillets, no frozen burgers here. Staff were friendly and attentive, we will be back.
