Awful, food was luke warm and very greasy and so unhappy as in the past its been great and tonight most the food ended in the bin.

Really gone down hill. Food tonight, ribs, chewy, chicken balls in batter, soggy. Prices gone up to. Not the place it used to be for sure.

We used to love food from here but not tonight. A little midweek treat just under £40. Never ever again. Chicken and sweetcorn soup was OK, that was the best part of the order. Prawn toast was like rubber, seaweed was tasteless, and prawn chow mein was BLAND! No taste at all, apart from tasting like it had been cooked in luke warm dishwater. Salt and pepper ribs tasted nice but no meat on them at all. New manager or chef maybe because we have never experienced this?

Don't go as often as we used to due to dieting etc. The prices have increased but the food still represents good value. The service is very quick. The free extras seem to have stopped but there is plenty of food in the bag

Recently ordered 2 portions of salt & pepper chips which were complete mush under cooked slop that went straight in the bin.. also the customer service was abysmal.. this joint has been taking the pi££ for years ? taking hard earned money off people during tough times should be ashamed..& also it’s filthy. Avoid at all costs.

Before you even think of ordering food here stop and go elsewhere absolutely vile my order came in a plastic try rammed in and looked like a pile of slopp disgusting never going back i binned the food

Crispy shredded beef anything but crispy - mass of glupy mess that tasted disgusting! Crispy chicken wings again anything but crispy and again tasted disgusting! Prawn toast tasted just like fried bread! Boiled rice was ok though....

My meal was tasteless very bland not what I expected at all. My husband was very disappointed as he said his was bland also. We won’t be going there again.

I am quite a regular to Sea Palace and I’m normally happy with the quality of food and service. However, tonight was the complete opposite. I had ordered £20 worth of food, only to get home and discover that the quality was dreadful. We had ordered 2 portions of salt and pepper chips (burnt and little to no seasoning or veg inside), salt and pepper chicken (unbelievably dry), a portion of samosas, spring rolls and crab sticks. I am not normally the type to complain, as I work in fast food myself and understand that you can’t get everything perfect all the time. I rang up to explain that the quality of my food was not up to standard, very politely. The person on the phone didn’t seem bothered in the slightest, no apology, just repeated that if I wanted replacement food I would need to bring the food back to the shop. Not even an offer of delivering it to my house, which is two minutes round the corner. I drove back to the shop with the dreadful food that I had previously collected and waited there for my “fresh” food to be remade. I took the new “fresh” food out to my car and double checked it to make sure it was right. Do you think it was correct? You’re right. It wasn’t. The salt and pepper chips looked just as bad as they did before...probably the same portions I’d returned 10 minutes ago. I then went to check my salt and pepper chicken - but there was no salt or pepper in sight...only a chicken wrap. I was baffled. I then went back into the shop for the third time to explain that this was incorrect. He opened the three boxes up, still no apology or any care in the world. At that point I asked for my money back because I couldn’t be bothered spending my night running round, waiting for them to get it right. I showed my £20 order on my phone, but he would only refund me for the three items that I had brought back. I explained that the rest of the food at home would be cold by now. He then told me that I’d have to drive back to my house, collect the rest of the food, and then drive back to the shop and go in for the fourth time if I wanted a full refund. I thought this was appalling service - gobsmacked. I am very disappointed, especially because I go there so often. I am now left with half my order, half a refund and some freezing cold sides. Ordered chop suey rolls which were grey, greasy and tasted weird. The prawn toast was dry and flavourless. Shredded beef in chilli sauce - had one mouthful and threw it away. The sauce just tasted like sour gluey mush. Very unimpressed, especially considering the prices! Never again

Not going to go into the first time I ate there but pic of the second time make you own mind up. Played it safe this time I thought how wrong was I how can you mess a pizza up never again

Cold, poor quality and tasteless. Had sweet & sour chicken, special fried rice, soup and spring rolls. Put it all in the bin and ordered from somewhere els.

Went for takeout had the special fried rice really nice had salt and pepper ribs to die for really nice food would return again

Sorry but used to be good. House special curry was nothing special. Raw onions and mushrooms, meat so chewy it couldn't be eaten. Fried rice was like a lump of sh1t. Chips more like a bag of mash. Should have stayed closed after refurb.

Went here for Chinese takeaway and pizza would never go back there ever as the chicken looked undercooked and slimy also the pizza was horrible chucked half of it in the bin staff where ok

Never been before forced because of bad hygiene rating of the one we usually use. My god brilliant staff were extremely helpful. Spring rolls lovely, no wait glad we found this place.

I regularly order takeaways from here,but on Tuesday 27th I ordered the deep fried combination starter, the sweethouse main and chips well done. I asked as always for no prawns in the sweethouse but Extra crispy chicken instead. The meal was delivered promptly, but the chips were undercooked, the combination starter was cold and while my request for no prawns was honoured, we got four tiny bits of crispy chicken in total. We were sharing this meal between two, so we went to bed hungry I am afraid.

Worst take away we have had in a long time food came cold when we phoned up to complain the manager said it's winter what do u expect we asked for a refund we said you can have your food back he said no £22 of food went in the bin stay away there are a lot of better take a away in the area

Been to the sea palace lots of times....never had a bad meal from here....lovely food .....would definitely recommend....

Never try ed this takeaway before,and never will again,the food we ordered was awful,chicken and sweetcorn soup was unedible and bright orange,spicy chicken was just as bad,avoid if possible, dirty establishment too

Ordered 3 x fish & chips for home delivery and received a bag of disgusting slop that my dogs even turned their noses up at. Chips were undercooked and covered in enough oil for me to service 2 cars and 1 motorbike for the next 2years, the fish tasted like it had survived the sinking of the exxon valdez by drinking 6000 ltrs of crude oil will not order again and recommend others to stay away unless you have shares in BP or Shell.

excellent service and food. good choice of menu I recommend the fish or steaks. have visited here at various times of the year and the quaility of food and service is the same

Been here on quite a number of occasions. Fast service and we have not had a bad meal yet. Very cheap and plenty of it.

Ordered a sausage dinner and a pie dinner to be delivered.. sausage dinner arrived but they only delivered the pie part of the other meal! Rang them straight back and told them I want the rest of my order. It then took another 30-45 minutes for them to bring me a portion of chips! Bearing in mind that I only live 3 minutes away!!! Then no apology once it did get delivered. Won't be going back and will stick to my usual place.

Quick service food was hot and time wise they were spot on for delivery the driver was nice and cheery

Ordered sweet n sour chicken and rice.. barbecue ribs, salt n pepper ribs, chicken fried rice, prawn curry., chicken n sweetcorn soup., boiled riced and chips, the delivery was fast.. food was disgusting. The sweet n sour was all sweet no sour.. the chicken was like bullets and, tasteless. My wife said the prawns where like rubber and tasteless. The ribs where just yuk.. the rice over cooked. We threw it all the bin after spending over £20. Will never ever go there again. And we advise you not to waste your money.. such a let down..

Brilliant Chinese, pizzas and kebabs, take away, they deliver too, I think the best Chinese around, lovely customer service and family run. X

The staff are so friendly! Food is always excellent and delivered in time, we've been going for a while now and they remain really consistent. All this for a really cheap price.

The food is getting worse . They have only 1 star on their food hygiene rating so definitely keeping away now.

Just tryed this takeaway out for the first time . Staff were great very helpful and friendly. Food was great only ordered sausage chips and gravy but whow would have easily fed 2 maybe 3 very good value for money will defo return

Had a few takeaways from here, decreasing in quality each time. Started off well with ok sweet & sour, chips loved by daughter but then went downhill.

We ordered a Chinese takeaway meal to eat at home. We have a chicken chow mein, a vega less in chilli and garlic with boiled rice and salt and pepper chips to share. I like the food and find that unlike other places it is not laced heavily with msg, meaning that you don't get a massive thirst in the following hours. Reasonable price, decent food. What you would expect from a Chinese takeaway.
