McDonald's in Sefton

I ordered meals for my family. In the paper bag, my two medium fries were nowhere to be seen. I understand it was my mistake for not checking the order at the drive thru however I tried calling the McDonalds nearby and they did not answer. To be fair, that McDonalds is pretty busy but that does not mean they can just give me half of my family’s meal without the fries. Their customer service is not good in terms of not answering the phone.

Went early Saturday morning quick service and food was okay nice staff and clean

Worst McDonalds ever. The service here is shocking. Regardless of the time of day at the drive through you are told to pull up and wait ( usually for atleast 20 min) and then the food will be wrong or cold. It is quicker to order from another local McDonalds (kirkby, switch island or ormskirk) drive to that restaurant pickup the food , drive back and then eat in store at maghull. If you did you would still be finished eating before your maghull order had even been made. Why can't somebody resolve the systematic issues in this store.

Long waiting the don't want serve just eat and uber , the ignore deliveres drivers , is joke , is they worse macdonald I work whit, 🤮

In the drive thru now. Been sat here ten minutes. At a Standstill. Pathetic

Just waited 47min in the drive thru, got food and went hime to find chips felt like the came out of the fridge no chicken nuggets in the happy meal,,,, now tried to ring store for over 1 hr ( think they have took phone off the hook) from now on think i will drive the extra 2 mile to the next branch

Completely cold and short on what I ordered I want a full refund

Took over an hour to turn up not the delivery drivers fault and the store has not put in all the food some chips was missing and sauces and chicken nuggets as well as the food being stone cold basically frozen. No straws aswell or sauces also

Only 2 things came in the bag , also arrived a hour and 10 minutes later stone cold.

Delivered the wrong order to me I was trying to explain that my order number and the one on the bag of food was different but the delivery driver was so aggressive and rude that I couldn’t even make my point it was extremely uncomfortable

So much for 23 hours it was shut at midnight

24/7, closed at 10? Im dyslexic but still able to read the open sign. Wet wipes

Awful service, staff never appear out of the kitchen, tables dirty, bins overflowing if you go to the counter the staff can see you but just chose to ignore you until you step around the back in the kitchen Who ever manages this place needs a kick up the backside !

Food took ages and was cold on arrival and missing items

When ordered the time kept getting pushed back. When it came it was stone cold. Coke was flat with no ice. Also very salty burger. Very very poor

I don’t understand how hard it is to fill the large coke to the top and not halfway. I also don’t understand how hard it is to put sauces in the bag. I specifically ordered 4 tomato sauces so they didn’t miss it but they somehow did. I also ordered 4 extra sauces with the chicken nugget share box and yet they still forgot it. I am actually surprised it turned up this time, thats how badly run it is. Always expect something to go wrong with this McDonalds.

Awful. Every time I use this Maghull branch there is always a problem. Wrong order, ridiculous waiting times both at the restaurant and home delivery, order not delivered, incompetent staff. A mature manager is required to make sure the service improves, the orders are correct and food is ready in a timely manner. I suggest a mature manager as the age of staff at the branch is quite young and obviously don’t have the experience to provide a good service or have any sort of interest in doing a good job. Fast Food it is not!!!

Excellent customer service from the driver

Incorrect order received after waiting 2 hours (18/01) Contacted JustEat to claim refund and they’ve declined even though I have photo evidence of the incorrect order. They now refuse to respond to any of my emails. Absolutely shocking how they can get away with this. The store is no help either once you’ve placed the order via JustEat. AVOID!!!!

Waited over half an hour despite not beingthat busy. Food was cold. Childs happy meal had no burger or toy!. Staff appalling. CHOOSE A DIFFERENT MCDONALDS THIS ONE IS AWFUL.

This place is an absolute joke of a place. Placed an order At 13:45. Quiet in the restaurant and not too busy on the drive through. Half an hour later we finally got our food and that was only thanks to the help of Sue the customer care for that day. She was amazing. Sorting not only our food but others in the restaurant. She definitely deserves some recognition for her work as she is the only person in this McDonald’s that seems to do anything. The rest of them are useless. Whoever was the shift manager for this day needs to think about a career change. Because obviously they can’t handle this job

No straws, no sauce burgers look like they’ve been drop kicked round the kitchen. How hard can it be??

Never showed up after waiting an hour

Seriously, 35 mins in a drive-thru queue. To receive cold food. My kids didn't even think it tasted like mcdonalds, which is disappointing as they got this as a reward for getting excellent school reports.

The time kept on getting delayed but overall good service as no food was forgotten and warm 👍👍

Big statement but the worst McDonald's I've been to, no one on the drive thru, when we did manage to order "used the app?" Not even a hello. Everyone sent to the carpark to wait for their food. I ordered 2 meals. Sat in the carpark over 10 minutes waiting for the order, no dip with my selects meal, daughters Oasis was purple water, no straws and missing a portion of fries. The manager of this place should really re evaluate ther ability.

Always takes around 10 minutes to get food ordered on the screen in store This time we ordered a sausage and egg mcmuffin and an egg mcmuffin as my gf is vegetarian we took burgers to the car to eat on the journey and got on the m58 to realise she has been given the same as me - sausage and egg mcmuffin - too late to go back

The delivery time kept being delayed over and over again and it was very late.

it's a shame I had to order this because 2 burgers had been missed of the original order for which McDonald's blame just eat and just eat think a 2.69 credit is viable recompense

I was under the impression that the big mac was the flagship burger of the mcdonalds empire but what I received yesterday was the defining reason why I won't be going to mcdonalds ever again.

I ordered a McChicken sandwich meal, it took 35min to arrive. I forgot to check it and didn't find out that they had given me a double cheeseburger till I got home. Had to come back to get it replaced and they didn't even apologise.

Be prepared to wait. A long time. Once upon a time McDonald's was the standard for fast food and 100% order accuracy, but at this outlet those concepts are totally lost on the staff there. Ray Kroc and the McDonald brothers are literally spinning in their graves.

my order time was sound very polite however everything i mean literally everything expect the large coke that came correct two off my burgers i got had come with the wrong ingredients, the chips were freezing and i didn’t get my 6 nuggets that you get when you order a large meal on top off that the sharebox was the same everything was there but it was freezing cold/ unedible i want a refund!

Arrived at drive through at 11.30 on Saturday evening, waited ten minutes for the car on the speaker to move, cars were beeping there horns for service, waited ten more minutes and nobody was serving, reversed out and there was a que inside too and only one McDonalds employee to be seen. I will never return to there again as last time I waited for 15 minutes and got home it wasn’t cooked and cold. Run by kids who just don’t care. I only put one star to write this review. The worst McDonalds in the country

Do not waste your time stopping at this garbage excuse for a McDonalds outlet. It is franchised and they just have not got a clue how to run it. There were so many cars waiting for food that was taking an age to prepare, the cops should have done traffic control on the car park!!!! I waited 5 minutes at the initial speakerphone to order. Then they took my order down incorrectly. I waited nearly half an hour for a breakfast wrap. The chap behind waited 20 minutes for a hash brown they’d missed off his order. Absolute rubbish and McDonalds should not have its name associated with these clowns.

Food was cold and was binned and items missing I’m not surprised as time it took to be delivered. Driver was apologetic over wait but it was out of his control. It was down to store.

Pushed out time on order despite courier being at the restaurant for 30 minutes. When it finally arrived it was incorrect and food missing. Not only was it incorrect but it was ice cold and incorrect. Maccies Maghull has to be the worst service in the country and if I was just eat I’d sack it off quickly to save your reputation.

This macdonals is appalling, l ordered l meal for my self via just eats app and it said on the app that it had arrived but it clearly hasn’t. As l have a ring doorbell and would of been able to see there is no footage of the driver even on my road, l tired to put I complaint in and ask for a refund but l can’t even do that as my order was saying it was delivered absolutely disgraceful service they clearly do not care for their customers this place deserves shutting down as l have had multiple altercations with this terrible place. Do not order here honestly save your money got to be one of the worst if not worst McDonald’s in the country outrageous rude service don’t even waste your time do not order ESPECIALLY VIA JUST EAT DO YOUR JOB PROPERLY!!!!!

i ordered two maccies last night one from switch island that took that long it cancelled it self so then i ordered from the maghull one which is closer and that was half an hour late the food was cold it didn’t even have the dips with the select box everything about this was a disaster i would like a full refund because it got binned

We ordered big tasty, quarter pounder with cheese meals and cheese bite share. We received someone else’s order of big tasty, cheese burger and a Fanta. Everytime I order I have to put in a complaint as they always miss items or give us the wrong order!

The food was never delivered. Ordered 13:50. Time kept going up. Then the app said the food was delivered at 16:25 when the time was actually 16:00. No idea how food can be delivered into the future

Drink was spilt , Hashbrown share box wasn’t delivered and only got 5 and breakfast wrap only had one sausage in it.
