Scott & Mortensens in Thanet

Have visited this spot many times over the years and had some truly great seafood - carabineros, wonderfully crisp Fritto Misto etc but visited today to find the place unrecognizable. Hand written limited menu and the execution was awful. Limp battered muscles and terrible quality (looked like frozen) prawns which has been flash fried. I would have expected better from a fish and chip van. This place used to have massive queues but I can only assume that the staff or owners have changed because the quality has disappeared.

Great tasting breakfast, nice coffee and friendly staff.

Filthy dirty, I am waiting so far 20 minutes for eggs on toast. I rather get my money back. Absolutely disgusting. Filthy tables, safer to eat on the trays provided.
