This place is not good at all, the food is pathetic and so is the service the staff are reluctant and the place is ill managed.

Anche qui le grandi bisteccone pubblicizzate in tv (tv inglese) sono tutto fumo e niente arrosto! Ho provato solo lo steck house di Piccadilly (quello di fronte al famosissimo negozio di m&ms) e mi è bastato! I prezzi non sono alti,ma davvero non valgono la qualità carne dura e nervosa e birre scadenti (cosa che a Londra proprio non mi aspettavo) un classico esempio di come prendere in giro i turisti.

L'atmosfera è fredda, il servizio anche, ma sfortunatamente alle 21.30 Londra sembra non offrire altro!I pub tipici offrivano solo da bere, volevo evitare i ristoranti italiani/etnici e cercare qualcosa di più tipico... e mi sono imbattuta in questa steak house. Ho ordinato un filetto al pepe, che non era nulla di speciale, ma cotto bene, contorno non memorabile.Bevuto un chianti italiano doc, ad un prezzo onesto.Nel complesso la prossima volta forse opterò per i Fratelli la Bufala poco distante, ma al momento questo ristorante merita un giudizio "nella media" per avermi dato da mangiare quando gli inglesi cercano solo da bere!!!

Joli restaurant mais plats sans saveurs.Salade César très légère et hamburger sec servi sans aucune sauces, frites pas salées.Nous n'y retournerons pas.

Comimos aquí después de hacer turismo hoy en día. El menú es bastante caro, pero decir que hay que tolerar los cortes de carne de vacuno son horribles. El servicio, irregular en el mejor de los casos - un hombre gestionar varias mesas con mala comida para resarcirte conduce a críticas negativas. I am so sorry that these ghastly Angus/Aberdeen/Scotch Steakhouse type restaurants are blighting the London restaurant scape and as I a Londoner, I wish to apologise to any visitor who ends up in these hellholes of pure awfulness. It is with some wicked magical force conjured by the dark lord behind these deserted facades of the Green Sign of Evil, that has somehow managed to keep them open for decades, despite the empty seats and lack of patrons.Now onto the review: I have actually eaten at Scotch steakhouse, once, for reasons I will not go into... and my experience is no different from the other reviews here.Steaks are low quality, small, and overcooked, the sauces you have to pay for and order seperately, along with the fries, sauces, and just about anything else. All these bits and pieces, which would normally be included in the meal at any normal restaurant, adds up humongously to the bill. The pepper sauce wasn't even made of cream, it was just bisto type gravy with peppercorns in it. Miserable staff, miserable decor inside (depressing purpley 1970s that looks like it's been in a time capsule for 40 years), miserable menu, miserable food, only about 1 or 2 tables occupied at any time, bloody awful prices and cover charges. You will never ever find a local eating in one of these places, always tourists that keep the evil Scotch Steakhouse machine rolling and devouring all those who enter.

Non c'è altro commento per sintetizzare la nostra esperienza in questo "..ristorante.." della catena Scotch Steak House.Mia moglie ed io avevamo una serata "musical" all' Her mayesty's Theatre, in Haymarket (The Phantom of the Opera, visto per la 12a volta... -in realtà 18 aggiungendo il sequel Love never Dies..), quindi cercavamo un ristorante easy, dove mangiare velocemente, vicino a Haymarket.In effetti "ristorante" è in Piccadilly, quasi angolo con Regent street, a circa 200/300 metri dal teatro: abbiamo pensato che fosse una posizione strategica!Poi...entriamo: ambiente kitsch, tavoli sporchi..accoglienza gelida e frettolosa.Arriva il cameriere oientale: sgarbato, non ci saluta...Ordiniamo 2 bistecche di manzo, due insalate e still water.Arrivano le bistecche: abbastanza grandi ma difficilmente mangiabili: dure, troppo cotte, piene di cartilagini e grasso!Terribili!Le insalate miserrime e scondite....Chiediamo il conto: £ 65, sproporzionato per la qualità del cibo.Comunque paghiamo, lasciando anche £ 15 di mancia (lo so: siamo masochisti).Il cameriere non ringrazia e...non saluta neppure quando usciamo.Per fortuna il teatro era vicinissimo e The Phantom ci attendeva con la sua splendida musica.Un consiglio: tenetevi distante dall'insegna verde di Scotch Steak House e non consigliatela neppure al vostro peggiore nemico!Invece...andate a vedere The Phantom of the Opera o Love Never Dies, sarete talmente felici, anche se profondamente commossi, da dimenticare qualsiasi terribile ristorante nel quale siete andati prima!
