Scarlets in City of London, Westminster

Es un pub pequeño y agradable para tomar una copa. Hacen buenos cócteles, pero la comida aquí es normal, el servicio es muy lento.

Servicio lento y pastel de carne con cerveza era frío en el medio, se quejaron pero la camarera extranjera fingir que no entiendo, así que pedimos para bill (entendió que) y nos fuimos.

Fuimos a conseguir algo de comida. Nadie nos saludaban, podía ver todo el personal en la esquina viendo un video sobre alguien por teléfono. Finalmente alguien llegó y nos sentamos y ordenados. El servicio era lento, y la comida para para salir, aunque no había nadie comida más ordenada. Cuando la comida llegaba, los huevos tenía todo split (que seguramente no debería haber sido servido) y las patatas fritas eran muy pobres. No volveremos aquí.

Llevé a unos amigos al pub para celebrar un cumpleaños amigos y pasamos un tiempo increíble. El lugar era estupendo y el servicio que recibimos fue perfecta. La comida nos pedido era razonable y delicioso. Felicitaciones a Charlotte que mantuvo nuestro grupo feliz y bien conciencias! También era muy feliz de descubrir una pequeña zona de baile que nos permitió ampliar nuestro grupo la noche :).

La verdad es que fuimos sólo porque una amiga nuestra vive en Londres y tiene una tarjeta de descuento para determinados restaurantes. La comida estaba decente, muy variado y rico, de eso tengo poca queja. Pero bueno, la camarera fue un poco borde y además se les olvidó aplicar arcos un descuento que estaba indicado en la carta. Por el precio final yo volvería a este sitio, pero eso, es una hamburguesería más.

Really great restaurant. It's very comfortable and cozy. The atmosphere is quiete and it looks like to be in a retro restaurant. I really liked how it is decorated. The service was polite, helpful and professional. The dishes are very delicious. Excellent value for money! I highly recommend it!

My friend and I arranged to have a few drinks after work to catch up. The manager was disgustingly rude and ridiculously out of order. After being pushed and sworn at numerous times from the manager, we left alongside other customers who were also shocked at his behaviour. I would not recommend going to this bar and I hope that no one else has to experience what we did.

This was our second lunch time trip to Scarlets; the first was slow but the second was worse! We had a table booked for 1230pm and arrived promptly. We waited ages for a member of staff to take our orders and in the end we had to remind them we were there. The place was fairly empty (3 small tables apart from ours) After ordering burgers all round, our drinks arrived quickly but we had to ask about our food after 40 minutes and, having been told it would be 3-4 minutes, it finally arrived after 50 minutes. Nothing was very hot and two of the chicken burgers were overcooked and dry. We had to ask for them to bring over the card machine and it proved a real kerfuffle as we didnt all pay the same amount. I was initially told that my Tastecard would get 50% off the bill but it turned out to be 50% off the food only. Service had already been added to the bill and once we'd rounded our contributions we did leave a very minimal service amount. I normally pay at least 10% as Im very aware that most people working in the service industry needs tips to get a decent wage but the service really was awful. We finally left after 1.5 hours feeling a little stressed as we raced back to the office. We realised that we were the only "work" people in the restaurant and now we know why!

Nipped in today for a quick business lunch, great selection of food and extremely good value for money especially considering you're in the heart of London. Recommend the 3 tapas style dishes (only £12 for 3!) as they're perfect for sharing as a starter! Service was quick and attentive, venue itself is stunning!! Will be back!

If looking for a straightforward lunch would recommend this place, Nice atmosphere with good service & well presented tasty food.

We came here for cocktails on a Tuesday afternoon. The choice of cocktails is very good and they are reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful and happily suggested cocktails they recommended. The Negroni was particularly nice.

16 of us booked in for a cocktail making party 🎉 fantastic fun. We started with prosecco and a talk, then nibbles. We all then made two cocktails each with our Italian stallion. Highly recommend

Stopped for a pre- theatre lunch. Bar wasn't that busy. Was warned there would be half an hour wait for food ( we were fine with that) food arrived after an hour- dried out chicken burger. Staff apologetic, seemed stressed. Had to eat food in a rush to get to theatre.

Popped in whilst doing the whole touristy thing. Friendly bar staff who made us feel welcome. Enjoyed a decent ale albeit at 'London prices'. The place was fairly empty when we were in so were able to get a choice of table. Enjoyed our pint and a bit of a chat with the staff. Would definitely revisit next time in town.

Stumbled across this bar whilst heading towards Covent Garden. It was Good Friday evening and we were looking for somewhere to sit, have a drink and listen to some music. This ticked all the boxes for us. It was about 8.30pm when we arrived and the bar was busy but not packed which was good. We got a table and stayed there enjoying the atmosphere. Would definitely go back. The music that night was mixed and we really enjoyed it. The age group in there that night was also mixed so we didn't feel out of place (being 40+ years young). Staff all came across as friendly so I would definitely recommend this bar.

Popped in yesterday around 4pm and it was busy... Come 5pm our table got a reserved sign on it for 9.30pm... Which was fine... But then the chap kept changing the sign and we got given one for 6.30pm even though tables beside us didn't have one on!!It felt like they didn't want us there!!Getting drinks became increasingly difficult and at one point it took 20 minutes to get 3 champagnes and a expresso martini! Oh and be careful how you pronounce expresso as one of the barmaids will try to belittle you publicly if you get it wrong....

It smells pretty dodgy (like pee and Lynx) and behind the bar is dirty (don't look at the bottom of those fridges). Maybe it's just not my cup of tea but I really don't see the appeal.

We were in London to see War Horse and were having a walk round the area prior to our meal. I was in need of a beer and my wife wanted a coffee. We went in here and the range of drinks was incredible. I had Guinness and my wife had a Mocca. The place was quiet as it was early but the staff were very friendly. We looked at the range of spirits and cocktails available and thought that we would go back later.As it happened we never made it back but would visit again when next in London.

Relaxing spacious bar. Visited Scarlets with a group of friends, with a pre-booked table. Staff friendly & bar food very tasty,

20 quid cover charge is more than you'd expect to pay for a weekday night. Weekends the place is so packed it takes at least half an hour to get a drink. Pretty disappointed given the number of more than decent alternatives nearby.

Stopped for a drink after the theatre. Great choice of drinks behind the bar and even better cocktail menu. One of the best Mojitos I've had and the peach bellini was very good I was told! The place itself is really nice and a good choice of seating upstairs and downstairs. Decor very distinguished and service very friendly.

Sentarse y ver al mundo pasar delante tuyo - Covent Garden en su máxima expresión. Especialmente recomendado los fines de semana al mediodía, cuando la proporción de londinenses aumenta y baja la de turistas...

The grub was first class, mix of thai and Indian. the spiceyness was perfect, flavours splendid, the amount was more than adequate (unusual for me to say that!).It can only be better when the Bento boxes are back ;)

Lovely food (mainly) friendly staff great cocktails and a fab manager. For Central London, a fair price. Would definitely revisit
