Sass Cafe & Bar in North Somerset

Went last last night for a few bevs (12th October 24) and it was ok place music was debatable as you could of up your game a little better but will let that one slip, dress code I was told I wasn’t aloud to wear a cap inside but there were girls with there asses hanging not like a short dress but full blown butt cheeks exposed I felt like this was like gender disqualification but that’s up to you guys maybe you could let people in with hats just a thought and maybe get people to wear actual clothes in your bar, also the staff were dancing on tables with flairs in there hands were is the health and safety method statement and risk assessment for this what if they fell not good also a customer was on the bar dancing with them in heals drunk how is that safe? You tell me? But other than that it was good nice clean floors, toilets were full of sick but again that’s just a Saturday night on the town people are sick, other than was good way better than vinnes so when I return to Weston super mare and want a beer I will come again with my hat on ooh before I go I want to say how well dressed your staff were they looked very professional thank you Jack ages 37 from Cornwall

lovely pub. in side and outside space. toilets on same floor. very clean and spacious when we visited in the day. staff very nice

Most miserable bar staff I've experienced in a long time, I'm not surprised it was empty. I saw her serve a number of customers didn't smile or speak to any of them

Sass is a true gem. Their craft cocktails are a delight, each one uniquely flavorful and expertly mixed. The pizzas are equally impressive, with a perfect crust and moreish toppings. The cozy atmosphere adds to the charm, making it a great place to relax. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a top-notch experience. A must-visit for cocktail and pizza lovers!

Would have got 5 stars but for the neanderthal doorman on Saturday night who said my Hugo Boss shorts were "sports shorts" so would not let me in.Ihad been here lunch time everyday of my stay and the service,staff and quality of food was really good,just shows how one jobsworth individual can ruin the reputation of a business

Found this place by chance, during the day. So we tried, strawberry milk shake...delicious. Toasted Sandwiches were delicious, and service was quick. Very good prices. Lovely lady served us, and chatty. Will go again soon.

I've been in Sass several times in the afternoon, and it's always been lovely. The hot drink & cake offer for £3.95 is good value for money. Sass is a bit tired in places, and could do with a cosmetic tidy up / paint, but it's always a nice atmosphere in there, and the staff are pleasant. I'll definitely keep returning. I can't comment on the evenings, as I've only gone in Sass in the afternoon's.

We went in for a snack for lunch as we were eating out in the evening. We decided to share a cheese toastie and cake rather than have one each. We're glad we did as the portions are generous, as well as delicious. The gluten free carrot cake didn't taste gluten free. It was lovely. We don't need to eat gluten free, but love carrot cake, and really couldn't tell the difference. We will be back!

Great cocktails friendly staff beautiful decor! 2 for 1 cocktails happy hour 5-7pm are amazing! Also coujd bring dog in on cold windy day.

Went for a few cocktails with my friend and it was great service, cocktails were lovely and made very well. Staff were absolutely wonderful and look very professional 👏🏻 Great experience 👍🏻

Met my friend as usual at Sass for coffee, hot chocolate and teacake. A bit different from the summer when it was airy and cool (the ceilings are very high as it used to be a bank). This time, in this cold spell, it felt overheated, far too warm for me, and not very healthy with all the bugs going around. Still we had a nice chat and will go again.

I often meet my friend at SASS. We sit in comfortable chairs, have coffee and tea, and chat, chat, chat non-stop for a couple of hours! Sometimes we'll have cake. There is outside seating too, and we sit there if there's room. It's nice either inside or outside. Very nice cafe which used to be a bank, so the ceilings are very high, gracious surroundings, wonderful chandeliers made of drinking glasses! Go see...

We were eating in the restaurant next door later in the evening so we stopped in here first. Staff polite and attentive. We had our food and came back in as the atmosphere was great, it felt like everyone was there for a good time. One thing both my wife and I agreed on was how all the bar staff were very good at their roles they were all very presentable. Will be coming back when in Weston overnight.

Went to this bar as meant to be good cocktails on arrival entrance and outside had an odour of unclean public urinals, however smell dissipated inside! Then met with the a young girl who had the worst attitude refused to do the coctails at 16:59 for the 2 41 starting at 1700 would have to wait a minute! Partner was sat outside and the local homeless were asking people for money left asap never again so rude !

Recently dropped into Sass for an afternoon pint. I had a pint of Fosters was very nice. The staff was dressed smartly. Nice location in the middle of Weston Super Mare.

Lovely building. Needs a good clean . Staff were ok. No greeting they were all chatting about a girl they don’t like We have been in before but I don’t think we would go again as there are many places in Weston which are cleaner and a much better atmosphere

Went to Sass Sunday 11th June and Monday 12th as my Brother & Sister were excited by the 241 on cocktails from 5-7pm, fabulous cocktail mixologists on both occasions, an excellent historical venue, and clean toilets! Always a bonus, will make sure we visit again on another visit.

If you want to have a good time not a long time Jordan and Brandon the best cocktail makers in Weston.., will give you an espresso martini and make you feel like beegees they’ll mKe u feel like ur feel like your staying alive… no other bar can do espresso martinis like them… olea next door think they can serve it like them but they put Glenn’s vodka in their cocktails use Nescafé coffee and charge triple the price … if u don’t no then get to no.. 5 till 7 happy hour if u don’t no then get to no

I called in because there was a food festival in Weston as well as a new artwork on the prom. I needed some food and a drink so I ordered a beer and a Pizza. It took 25 minutes to arrive after being concocted on a bar-top machine. It was undercooked, lacking the meat variety I expected and I could only manage to eat half of it. It was gruesome. When I complained about how long the preparation took, it was disputed, then shrugged off. The beer was OK.

It was one of the hottest days when I met my friend at SASS. There is outdoor seating available but we decided to sit inside as it was much cooler. The cafe is in a previouss bank premises, so the ceiling and windows are very high! Beautiful place! The chandeliers are fashioned from drinking glasses! Certainly a sight to behold! We ordered iced coffee - it did the trick of cooling us down. We also had a carrot cake with cream - absolutely delicious and so beautifully presented with an artistic "drizzle" of chocolate. Highly recommended!
