Just like to say the food was absolutely delicious hot and everything we expected very quick service and lovely telephone manner tonight I'm going to award 5 stars thankyou brilliant

Due to current restrictions we have to have takeaway. Fortunately the takeaway food is just as good as the restaurant. It was tasty and used good quality ingredients. We all really enjoyed our food. Chicken byriani, Chicken tikka Madras, King prawn jalfrezi and King prawn tandoori. I would recommend.

We thought we would try a new take away as we had an Ubereats voucher. Absolutely beautiful food. The starters were perfect and the meat was so soft and cooked to perfection. The curries were so fresh tasting and we will definitely be using them again. The salad was all fresh and crunchy too. Great portion size. Excellent service. Everyone was so happy. We will definitely use again.

Excellent food, all three curries and starters were stunning. All delivered on time and piping hot. Third time we have used Sanam recently for takeaway and not been disappointed.

We ordered a take away and it was fantastic. Once you have a Sanam Sang paneer you will not be disappointed. The whole take away is fresh and very flavourful. I am never disappointed by our take away.

Four of us have just enjoyed a lovely curry. Good size portions, good value for money and very friendly service. It doesn’t have a drinks license but you are welcome to take your own. We had to give contact details on arrival, which we were very happy to do, it is very clean and in the present climate felt very safe. If you haven’t tried them yet I would definitely recommend you pay them a visit and if you haven’t been for a while I would say they need your support now more than ever.

Superb meal and generous portions with a bonus of taking our own wine. Service was excellent. We will be dining here again. I highly recommend it.

Best curry house in the area. Food is fresh, authentic and delicious. Service is excellent. Delicious poppadoms and pickle tray. Please go, you won't be disappointed. Far better than Hanifs and very reasonable prices.

We visited Sanam on a Saturday night. On entering there was initially no one there to meet us, and there was one table occupied with customers. After about thirty seconds however a waiter appeared who was very nice and showed us to a table and handed us menus. We were served complimentary poppodoms and pickle tray, and we ordered cokes. The menu offered a good variety of options and it was quite hard to make a choice, but I eventually decided on seekh kebabs and a chilli garlic type dish. The food was very nice. We both enjoyed our visit. Service was very friendly. Recommended.

This restaurant is struggling to survive, but their cook is cheaper, but more importantly better than Hanifs. What more can I say?

We went for the advertised curry buffet and we found on arrival it was no longer on offer due to lack of demand. The waiter was very apologetic and offered us a choice of starters and mains at the early bird rate. We accepted his offer and soon after a nice fresh sauce tray came out along with popadoms and salad. The ever patient waiter said he could wait for mains order till after our mixed grill starters, which were absolutely lovely. Mains when they arrived were tasty, although portion size was rather small. We all agreed we were stuffed at the end of the meal though. The starters were great, mains were ok, service was very, very good. Bill was as expected - not cheap, nor expensive. Be aware this is a cash only venue.

First time we ate here it was really good so we went again wish we hadn’t. I ordered masala fish which was really fatty and rubbery I asked what fish it was and was horrified to be told it was pangas!! Mains took an hour as they were more interested in answering the phone for take aways . The bhuna we ordered was watery and tasteless then when we asked to pay they tried to over charge us by £7!! Won’t be going again if your going to serve pangas then don’t expect repeat custom!!

Visited with family on an early Friday evening. Restaurant was empty but they were busy on the takeaway side. The staff were all friendly and efficient. Food was fresh and tasty and the menu was comprehensive. It is very good value for money. We all enjoyed it and would definitely go again. Don't be put off my the exterior the food is excellent! I would highly recommend.

Have visited most of the Curry venues in local area and SANAM is far and away the best for quality of food (in-house dining not takeaway). Ignore the rather shabby exterior and Pizza place , just go upstairs into the restaurant and enjoy the food. Licensed but you can take your own drinks , friendly staff. Only downside is it's cash only.

Family went to sanam for sit down family meal .took 1 hour to get or main courses after our starter .it came out warm ..thay seemed be more interested in answering phone for takeaways than us .also 2 of family was vomiting throw night .so no not good

Walking past you'd think this was just a takeaway but with plenty seating upstairs and a great chef it's a hidden gem. I had the lamb and Paneer which was cooked go perfection. We all enjoyed our dishes. Will return again.

We found this curry house while walking through Elland looks better inside, Food was excellent and the attention to detail was great, one of curries was too hot for us so the waiter sorted out a replacement for free great value meal deal.
