Popped in for a a quick bite but was disgusted be the woman serving with her homophobic remarks . I ha e been a loyal customer here for nearly 3 years but I will definitely not be returning . You really need to be educated and realise that words and remarks can be very hurtful

I only get chips and they are the best in Blackpool he dose a full range of chip shop food and it all looks and smells nice

Sam's chippy is by far the best chippy I have had the pleasure to have food at..the food is cooked fresh and everything I have tried delicious..the staff are very friendly and always welcoming..if you want great food visit Sam's chippy..you wont be disappointed...

Had fish and chips for tea. Tasted okay but chips are are not plentiful. Prices are reasonable, take away or small sit down area

Every time I visit Blackpool I pop in and see Sam and have my supper from his establishment. I am always remembered and he is a friendly chap to talk to, his fish is always fresh, never seen fish laying around in the display. Very reasonable price and a traditional range of chip shop fare, he also does a very nice curry sauce.

After many visits to Blackpool over the years I must say this is the best fish and chips around! This is a must go for the past 2-3 years of going after finally discovering where it was, we all know it’s tradition to have fish and chips on a day out in Blackpool. Be sure to make the right choice

One of the two best fish and chip shops in Blackpool in my opinion Is the food the best here probably but the prices are better and staff friendlier great wee plaice (sorry couldn't avoid the pun)

Has to be the best chippy in it's area.Never had a problem with quality and been going there for months.Tried other chippies in the area.... not patch on Sam's.ust be careful in the evening (he opens around 4pm), as the area is horrrendously rough and littered with druggies and other scum... even the flats above are laden with druggies and other rubbish.Stay safe., especially after 6pm.

I paid nearly £10 for two Hollands pies chips and peas, Time I got them around the corner they were cold and all stuck together, My hotel kindly warmed them up for me and even added some homemade gravy but I thought the way they were all just put together on a tray was poor my chips had cold green peas stuck to top of them I would of rather had them served at side and pie still in its tray so it didn't break at the sides and leak out too, Expensive for what you can buy at Iceland 4 for £1.99 too wont be going again

After getting soaked all afternoon at the pleasure park in the pouring rain we walked into Sams and although dripping wet we were welcomed - our meal was served quickly, was great value for money and very yummy.

Always use this chip shop. Chips are home made and chunky. Delicious. You can eat in but only about four tables. Great prices and offers. Well worth a visit. Oposited Funny girls.

Went after an evening in the local Duke of York. Fish and chips were freshly cooked, plentiful and piping hot....

He tenido peces n chips aquí muchas veces. Siempre es lo mismo, tamaño de pescado, patatas fritas precioso, personal amable y atento. No es muy grande por dentro, pero un lugar para sentarse y comer si lo desea.

Patatas fritas de pescado y guisantes blandos fueron los mejores. Nos sentamos en el interior muy limpio muy educado srvice. Probamos un montón de otros en los cinco días que estuvimos allí no llegó nadie cerca. Mejor pescado y patatas fritas dondequiera muchas ganas de volver.

The food from here was delicious. You could tell that the fish was nice and fresh. The owner was really nice, polite and friendly.

This is a superb find. The guy in there s so welcoming and the food delicious. Everything is fresh and you can take away or eat in. It is the best! The prices are great and it cant be improved upon. Well done to Sam!

what a chippy, what a great man .been here a few times now and twice this week-end. the fish is great, the chips are hand cut. there is a limeted eat in area but i highly recomend this place

not as good as finesse,mainly because finesse do chunky chips,which always seems best way to me.The guy who runs it is very helpful as well.

Me and my hubs on way home from a fantastic night out in blackpool came across this wonderful little chip shop by chance, owner was a pleasant friendly guy who offered us some assistance on what was on offer apart from the usual fish, chips and pies, my hubs chose the pulled pork and chips and I chose the chicken curry and chips.Both dishes were home made and you really could tell this by the quality , the taste were superb, was a great end to a fantastic night sitting outside our hotel eating this food, felt like kids all over again, we have both said the next time we stay in blackpool this chippy is deff on the end of the night list.

We are staying for the Easter weekend in Blackpool and on walking into town came across this little gem! We were intending to have a takeaway but were invited to eat our food on one of the few tables-this was great as it was starting to rain. We enjoyed a great curry and fish and chips- absolutely delicious and real good value. The guys name is Sam-no real surprise there as it i called Sams chippy! A real chirpy guy who is so polite and for sure cooks the best food in town!

Been on a few occasions and never disappoints. Homemade chicken curry on a Friday and Saturday is out of this world and when he does the pulled pork all I'm saying is omg. Best value for money

we visited this great fish and chip shop and were thoroughly impressed. Everything was delicious and freshly cooked and you can eat in or take away. Live just round the corner from this chippy. There are chippys closer to us but this is worth the extra distance. Very friendly staff and food is excellent.

as we have a bed and breakfast just round the corner from sams chippy we always send our guests there for the food guests always come back to bed and breakfast and tells us how fresh and tasty the food is.

A real alternative to Yourkshire Fisheries especially when late at night as just like Yorkshire Fisheries the fish is freshly cooked and the chips too

Its a fish and chip shop that's it, the chips are very very good freshly prepared and well cooked but the portions are a bit on the stingy size.

I went here on the reviews of trip advisor and I wasn't overly impressed the chips were greasy and the fish was not cod and the mushy peas wasn't cooked as they were still hard. would I return no as there are better chippy's in blackpool 5/10

Sams fish and chips are on par to Yorkshire Fisheries, however his fish are much bigger and you get more for your money too. All freshly cooked which is ideal

the fish is made fresh and always great. The owner is very nice and helpful. All the food is lovely, the curry and the pies. Very clean.We have now put SAMs as our weekly Saturday treat and send many of of our friends there.

We both had fish n chips first class really enjoyed them plus if u didn't want them he had good deals on other meals to choose from

Went for a walk and found this wonderful little chippy ordered the fish and chips , which was cooked fresh and let me tell you they were the best fish and chips I have ever had in fact they were so good that on returning to the hotel with the fish and chips for my self and a chicken kebab from the wife she happily paid more attention to my fish and chips then her own food

Fantastic chippy, great staff, always lots of friendly banter, most food very quickly cooked to order, I would recommend the fish n chips or SAMs homemade curry with rice n chips :))))

Located on Dickson Road on the way down to the Promenade, just the perfect location to stop off and get those Fish and Chips to eat as you make your way down to the beach or wherever. The downside was standing outside in the rain while waiting to order, a pity the shop wasn't a little bit larger. A real good alternative to Yorkshire Fisheries Fish and Chip shop on Topping Street, especially if you are heading in the opposite direction.

We regularly go to this chippy, as it is the best around this area. The chips and the fish are fried to order, generous portions, and the batter is crisp and thin. Always a pleasurable experience.
