Sam's Deli in South Tyneside

We’d heard good things about Sams Deli over the years so decided to give their sunday beef dinners a go. They are available online and delivery sites too but I popped in and ordered at the shop, which was full of diners queuing and ordering, (a good sign). I picked our order up 45 mins later as agreed and we’d gone for Medium sized, due to no idea what was small or large. Staff were excellent and polite, gravy’s came seperately with the yorkshires which is a good idea. Only downsides were it needed microwaving, I thought the carrots a bit overcooked and would have liked a thicker gravy. These are all personal choice. The amount of veg, gravy and meat were belly filling. Looking at the menu ( the breakfasts especially) I’m tempted to treat ourselves soon.

Best afternoon tea and cheesecake. Everything freshly made. We had the afternoon tea delivered for my sister's 50th birthday, because of Covid we couldn't meet up to go out. Fantastic value. Highly recommended. Beautifully presented. My sister and her boyfriend enjoyed every mouthful.

Bonito, limpio, bien de precio, amplia. Podían hacer con un menú más variado, no muchos platos de arroz. Bonita y pequeña tienda bocata rápido.

Buena comida y un gran servicio! El personal es muy amable y yo regularmente ir allí para mi almuerzo. Recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera! !

I truely love this shop. My first choice always but if i want hot food i do go elsewhere as, as much as its lovely cooking from scratch sometimes i dont have the time to wait

I regularly get a quick butty from here. The girls are great and remember how I like my sarnie. It's never going to get a Michelin star, but it's a sarnie shop so who cares. Great for a quick bite.

Im a regular at sams deli. A family run business. Staff are fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming. Food is to die for. Lost of selection and affordable prices. Theres nowhere better in the area
