Incorrect order and took over an hour to deliver by then everything was cold I'm disappointed

Been here a few times and always wait much longer than expected. Won’t be going back again , food is bang average. Services in this place is very poor. Twice asked for no mayo and still they put mayo. Waited 10 minutes for a fillet burger meal while i was the only customer in the shop. Lady who took the order waited to just before giving me the food to realise she had to make fries for my order!

Slow and long waiting time even when there is very low amount of customers in store

Absolutely disgusting, Half the chicken was raw and when we pointed this out we were told it was the marinade which was rubbish the chicken was so undercooked it was clucking, Do not eat here!

Chicken burger was pink and had a weird hint of fishy taste and wings were pink too. Avoid this place. Fries are not good either.

I order 2 loaded rice but they giving me fries . Even they didn’t giving me any fork.

We are usually sceptical about ordering fried chicken from places that aren't KFC, but OMG, this place is amazing!!!!!! It tastes so much better than KFC, not greasy & just bloody lovely. Will definitely use them again, 100% recommend! EDIT: WAITED 2 HOURS FOR RECENT ORDER. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Don’t eat at commercial road Sam’s the food is not cooked good the food is very bad and the customer service is horrible

I love their chicken, especially the chicken wings and chips. What I can never understand is why they are always so unwilling to give you sauce even when u ask. I don't get it. Is the sauce for fancy? Or do they have a target of how many sauces they can save?

I really had great time here I came with my friend and gave ordered for chicken rice and wings it tastes so good such a yummy chicken rice I loved it should visit and should try the chicken rice for sure !

The food was never delivered because just eat wouldn’t send a driver for it! Just eat are horrendous and their customer services team awful!

The quantity is not upto the top the barely fill it to half this makes frustrating as we only order in sams for its quantity with the pricing

The food is lovely, but the wait time just kept extending. I was waiting over an hour for my food, my order was small, but the time it was saying it would be delivered was pushed back multiple times. if I knew it'd take that long I wouldn't of ordered it but I was fine with waiting the original time I was given but my wait time extended beyond that

Food was cold!delivery driver or bike rider was seen just walking up and down my road could see him on app had to go out looking for him was a rude foreign speaking bike rider had food out his food bag. The meal was missing chicken wings absolutely🤮

I am very upset with this order. I have a child to feed and I promised to order a fried chicken. I came from a night shift and I thought having a delivery will make my life easier. I placed my order at 12.36 and order accepted at 12.37. The expected time of delivery kept changing from 1.00-14.45. I tried to contact the merchant to follow up they just informed me that the courier just arrived and dropped the call. I don't have the option to cancel. It arrived 14.50.

Ordered using Uber eats, where this place has a 4.4/5 rating. To be fair, the chicken strips were nicely cooked, and the chips weren't too bad (although nothing special either). But the loaded rice with chicken popcorn was a rather horrible, greasy dish, and came with none of the 'house coleslaw'. I'd like to think it was a 'one off' on a busy Saturday night, but for me, it was an expensive and disappointing experience.

Great price and amazing taste... Sam's is crisper and has better spice then Kfc

Lady at the till was very rude on collecting my food today. I had to wait 25 minutes for the food, which I wouldn’t have minded had the lady initially told me. When I asked her politely why there was a delay she began to first lie, then ignore me and was quite rude. Her name is apparently ‘Katy’ which I doubt. Dropped my food on the counter and walked off. I had to ask another members assistance. Poor customer service. Does not represent rest of the team.

Delivery time kept changing. 1 bottle of water was missing, no cutlery to eat the salad and no serviettes. I called the restaurant and was told that they had to check what was sent! After 30 minutes we still haven’t received the missing items and the food is now cold! Not a good service at all!

The chicken was fine - nice in fact. But when you pay 2.50 for a portion of chips, you expect more than a handful. Also the 3 tenders were a massive rip off for what you got.

I found chicken hair in my chicken. I ordered 8 peri peri and 8 fried chicken, they were nothing but bones. Moreover i found hair on multiple wings. They never washed or cleaned their product that they were serving, otherwise they would have noticed hair on the on at least one of the wings, and I found hair on multiple wings. Never coming here again, and i worn anyone who intends to order from here.

Good food but late! What is the point in delivering hours in advance for a set time if the food still comes 30 mins late. Also the staff member on the phone seemed very incompetent and didn't know what even my order was, having to pass to another member. They shouldn't be in a customer facing role if they can't answer a basic question about an existing order.

The food itself was nice but it was so cold because the delivery driver was going all over the place on the map! Was ment to come 14:45 but ended up being another half hour before it eventually arrived cold.

Reason i didn't give 5 star is anytime I order the peri peri fries. The peri peri gets sprinkle too much on the fries. Can you reduce the level of the sprinkling of peri peri on the fries. Thanks

I have been to Sam's Portsmouth plenty of times. Food is usually OK but the customer service is poor. Ordered a family value meal with wings and waited over 40 minutes. This is not fast food and they ruined the experience. Sort it out, as its definately not worth the wait.
