Me and my daughter came across this lovely place and stopped for tea. The decor plus vintage clothing sets a nice vibe and the staff are friendly. I had a great cup of coffee plus delicious vegan cake all served in pretty China cups and plates. They do afternoon tea (also Gluton free and vegan) and I am going to visit again. If you are in the area stop by as it is a really nice chilled place.

I went to this cafe for coffee and cake with my daughter. It looks charming and on a warm day would be delightful but is very exposed in winter despite electric fan heaters. We ordered and before we were served the waitress brought us the final bill. This was handy because we realised it was a pound more expensive to order a scone and a cup of tea than to have a full cream tea with two scones. When we queried this the waitress took away the bill and added one scone and subtracted a pound then returned the bill. Still no drinks or food! Eventually we were served (and I had very nice carrot cake) but another staff member then came and set the gramophone going. This music clashed with the loud rock outside in the market. When we asked her to reduce the sound she told us her customers liked her music! Unable to hear ourselves speak we fled never to return!

I have being recommended this place by a friend. Great little spot to have an afternoon tea with your friends. It was slightly chilly as it was cold outside that day, but I believe it would be great in the spring and the summer times. Great scones and cream tea.

We stumbled upon this little gem while shopping in the area. It is tucked away in the corner of a little vintage market. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and felt like we had escaped from the London madness into a quaint little tea shop! The decor is a combination of cute bakery (with it's layered cakes and adorable little tea sets) meets log cabin - very warm and rustic. My friends and I decided on sharing a tea set and some cakes, and boy, we were not disappointed! My favorite had to be the scones. We chatted with the owner and she told us how she had baked everything fresh! The scones were served with a soft creamy-butter thing and sweet jam. Drool. They were perfect with tea. The cakes were super pretty and tasted great too! Now - the teas. My favorite HAD to the the green jasmine, lavender, with rose petals blend. I think it was called the Paris-New York (?) but don't quote me on it. It was so fragrant and delicate....absolute perfection! Thanks to the owner who spent some time to chat with us and make us feel very at home! After relaxing here with our tea and cakes, we felt refreshed, and ready again to brave the London madness! :)

Tea place is cool and there are various tea. But service was too slow. We ordered scones and they didn't give for more than 30mins. So we asked, but they seemed they've forgot and took 15mins more. However, they are polite, which is fine.

Hidden Gem is what I can describe the place! This place is vintage and extremely unique. Nice atmosphere, warm service. We did a afternoon tea set and it was delicious, lovely tea with a wide range of selection. Totally worth it for an afternoon of affordable tea!

Good coffee, properly prepared. Nice seating at the back and, in the warm months, outside. Staff was professional, prices are at the high end for the area.

One of my favorite places in the area - has such a great vibe and super friendly. The food is delicious too! It feels authentic and somehow romantic for its simplicity. A neighbourhood gem!

I've eaten here a few times but stopped as the food was extremely salty and did not taste good at all. I also experienced bad customer service in the form of passive-aggressive behaviour and sarcasm.
