Salamis Kitchen in Redbridge

It was my first and last visit. Go to SULTAN Restaurant at Cranbrook Road Instead. Don't dare to come into this place. Very bad services. Looks like money, Hungry owner. Reduced portions size and disgusting food.. horrible. I am a regular Turkish food fan, but this place food tastes horrible. It was too expensive for the portions size.

i have ordered a family meal for my dads birthday and they have ripped us off! they website states buy one get one free .so we ordered 4 meals to make 8. apparently this is not the case if i want 8 i should of put 8 which would make 16?? and he still said no that’s not the case . so i said please explain what buy one get one free says ? he says just makes the bill half price!?!? no you buy a meal and get one free! so we was left with 4 people not having any food to eat and ruined my dads birthday meal! food was horrible shoved in a pizza box a kebab? no salad like the picture shows either! never ever order from here again i rang for help and he would not help me out!

Awful - refused to provide tap water when asked, unpleasant waiter who quipped and tried to make us move table because he was too lazy to bring food, incredibly oily, low quality meat in main dishes for prices that were too high

The waitress was rude af with bad attitude and being rude to customers all the time. Someone should fire her

i ordered a family meal from Uber and it had told me it would come in 20-25 minutes instead came after 1 hour and 15 minutes, food came very cold, chips were burnt, pita bread was cold, rice was cold, called the restaurant hundreds of times to have them update on my order but call was declined many times then was put on busy for an hour, when the food came all the meat was cold and the size was very small and was a waste of my money. Do not recommend.

Got food delivered which arrived early food was cold I ordered the lahmachun doner only wanted onions but they put all salad in and no onions I had about 4 bites and chucked it in the bin was awful and tasteless I have had much better such a waste of money and I would never order from them again

I ordered food from Salamis recently because it is close to where I live, it costed me alot of money. Food was extremely disappointed. Rice was soggy chicken kebab was old and gone off. Food was prepared in poor quality it wasnt freshly made. Do not order food from them. When I went back with the food they denied saying it is smell of paprika. Everyone knows the difference between freshly cooked chicken and gone off chicken. I wasted £100 worth of food and didnt get refund as well. If you want quality food then try Sultan from Ilford you will never be disappointed and they are good valued for money. Do not order Salamis food for party or small family gathering you will be disappointed. Food was old soggy cold and greasy!!!

Ordered this evening. Mixed donors, Turkish bread, Cacik. I then read the reviews whilst waiting for me delivery. Started reading and thought that I made a boob. Food arrived on time and was seriously lovely. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was the kebab had lost a bit of temperature. I will definitely order from there again. Give it a go. You'll be glad you did

Come from Blackpool to work for the week and got recommended by a guy where I was working. Try and have a kebab everywhere I travel too and it’s the Best kebab I’ve had. No joke 10/10 very clean shop

Never order from this restaurant, we ordered through Just eat and waited for 2 hrs and kept calling for status of delivery but no answer. Then I checked the status again and they purposely changed it to ‘delivered’ even though we never received our food...disgusting! Had to get a refund from justeat instead. AVOID like a plague! Read all other bad reviews...this restaurant should get shut down...the worse reviews were about bad hygiene and meat that smelled off! If I could I would not even give them 1 star!

This restaurant doesnt even deserve a one star!! I ordered 3 meals today and i expressed on two to three occasions that i do not want rice or cous cous with the meat as i am intolerant which then the manager ali said "yes yes thats fine" so i was comfortable and satisfied enough to order. When i came home with the order both the meals that i requested not to have cous cous or rice did have !! Ali the manager spoke to me in such an uprupt manner when i made a complaint to him and he did not seem interested at all with what i have to say. On the first occasion i called in a rude manner he said "dont talk to me now i cant listen i am buisy call later" and then put the phone down. I called a few hours later and when i was voicing my complaint he was not listening to anything i was saying and kept interrupting me. I will actually take my complaint further in the next few days. He has no customer service skills whatsoever. As being of turkish origin i must say this is not of a good standard i was actually really disappointed with the quality of the food.

I went to this restaurant few weeks back for a business lunch. Overall experience was good, the starters came straight away and were good, they included Humus and different dips with fresh Turkish Bread and chutneys. We had a mixed grill and every single item in the mixed grill was properly cooked and of good taste, the Turkish tea was nice as well. Now taking my family to this place to share the experience hopefully it will be as nice as well ..

As my birthday fell on Friday, thought would treat myself to takeaways on both Friday and Saturday. Salami Kitchen was my Saturday choice. Website was easy to use, although I think I must have made an error somewhere as I got onion and no salad, where I thought I had ticked box for no onion. Probably should have ticked boxes yes for other bits of salad, but thought it automatically was yes, would definitely add a note in future on the special requirements box. I ordered a small lamb donner kebab, and baklava. Donner kebab came with bread, rice, couscous and in my case raw onion (salad if you press right buttons) I only live down the road, so my food was very warm, I really enjoyed the lamb donner kebab, very good value for money. Would definitely be ordering another takeaway in future from Salami kitctchen

I currently ordered a £42 takeaway from here. Absolutely shocking customer service. And the food was cold and also missing items. Appalling. Especially when I gave them another chance from the last shambles I had. Halloumi salty and cold. Ribs where stone cold. But all the person said on the phone I can’t help you etc the boss isn’t here. I don’t expect money back I expect to get my food warm. The operator said on the phone you live 3 mile away.... I said buy bags that keep the food warm. Absolutely shocking. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER ORDERING FROM HERE THEY DONT DESERVE PEOPLES HARD EARNED MONEY!

Very poor kebab not authentic at all the staff don’t even want to give any sauces with the food. The chilli sauce is a let down not authentic Turkish chilli sauce

A night out with friends, We decided to try Salamis for the first time. Unfortunately it was the worst experience we had. The service was very poor, food quality was disgusting!! The meat quality is poor and very tough. We ordered chips and received them cold as ice. We will never go back there again. The manager failed to acknowledge us, Although we knew it was the baldy guy with a pink shirt.. he thought he was clever telling his staff to deal with it. Atmosphere was dead! Food was not edible and service was rubbish. I am just dissatisfied and spent £60 on rubbish basically. Never ever going there again and i would never recommend anyone to go there.. For locals Sultan is soo much better.

Brilliant service...delicious food...great atmosphere. It is a lovely place. Nice decor. Looks clean. Staff is very friendly. Good service. Kids friendly. Delicious desserts. Finding parking is a bit of a nightmare. Restaurant is always busy but most of the time u can get a table under 15 min.

I loves me some Salamis! Whenever I order a takeaway, I am never disappointed! Whenever I turn up in person to buy, the service is always warm and friendly!

This is mainly a Turkish restauran, however, it also serves burgers and donners etc. The decor is nice and calm and furniture is modern.

The Food is always great at Salamis as I have known the owner for many years. The chicken Shish is always succulent. Although I was disappointed with the Drinks especially the Pina Colada which i love. The Taste was not right. It's right to say that When I told the owner they made me another one and it was better. Definitely try the CHICKEN SOTE as this has a lovely taste.

Excellent food with excellent customer service. Never tried lamb shish that tasty before so soft n was melting in the mouth. Defo coming back. Once again I'll give extra extra stars to the customer service. Thank u so much making us special.

I came after a recommendation and I must say, I was very impressed. I'm a great fan of Turkish food and the food didn't disappoint. The grill was perfect and meze was good. Unlimited bread was light and tasty. But what really stood apart from other Turkish restaurants was the service- it was excellent. Highly recommended.

Visited for lunch with 2 friends. A lovely restaurant. Staff friendly and welcoming, attentive without being annoying. We had a mixture of starters: calamari. lamb liver, humus kavurma and lahmacun. Lahmacun was done to perfection. For main we had Salamis Platter 1 which consisted of chicken wings, adana, chicken shish, lamb shish, lamb and chicken doner, rice and couscous. Portions were very generous. I will definitely be returning to try out the rest off the menu.

We saw this was a new place on Ilford lane and thought we would give it a try.

New restaurant recently opened I thought give a try great fan of Turkish food. Went with my daughter birthday meal . Ordered the platter 2 and requested no yellow rice, cutlery wasn’t on table missing napkin fork , salad was fine and bread but when the food came I did requested only white rice and yet it still came with yellow cuscus was so disappointed as it goes to waste it was so dry no taste no flavour the donor was like it’s old hard and horrible . I spoke to staff as they kept hovering around told my concern paying £38 don’t expect this she only nodded apologise nothing more .. never again . The best is sultan on Cranbrook road not promoting them but if ur a good food lover then it’s worth it service food taste price

Looked good from outside. Food wasn’t too bad. Tasted better Turkish, what angered me was they charged for tap water! Not only that they charged twice! And I have never eaten anywhere that charges tap water!
