Sainsbury’s Heyford Hill in Oxford

Toilets are appalling, all out of order except disabled. Filthy dirty. No cafe anymore so I expect they think people will just put up with it. Don’t think I will shop in there again!

Absolutely shocking. Id been invited for a job interview 9.30am but then i was told the manager stuck in the bicester due to short staffed by an old colleague of mine who works there on the shop floor. I then received an email from the manager called Mia claiming she couldn't get hold of me at weekend cos of my invalid number. Why hadn't she emailed me at the weekend saying she had to reschedule my interview?! Full lies after lies from the travel money manager. Sadly I had to take a day off work from my current job for the interview so what a complete waste of time. Such dishonest and very disorganised environment is very disappointing to me. Though my skills suit her job perfectly!

This was the first time and last time using Sainsbury’s and after this visit I shall never use Sainsbury’s again staff were very very very rude the store was dirty and no staff to help… staff were down isles in small groups talking about there wonderful social life …. Very unprofessional definitely the worst shop I have ever shopped there in….

Nice large, well kept shop with lots of choice in food, household and fashion and all very good value for money. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and it makes shopping more enjoyable

Supermercado realmente encantador con mucha variedad, ofertas especiales y personal muy servicial. Tienen cajeros automáticos y un área donde puede obtener dinero para las vacaciones. También tienen corte de llaves, limpieza en seco y un Specsavers en la tienda. Arriba tienen una zona de cafetería encantadora con ascensor. Arriba también tienen clases de matemáticas y de inglés para niños.

My wife popped to our local Sainsbury's to get a couple of last minute items for dinner for the family. She arrived 5mins before the closing time, only to be told they were closing soon and that nobody would be let into the store. This would've been frustrating for us but there was also a mother with her young baby needing to just pop in to get formula. Only for her to be told the same thing and advised to find a pharmacy that would be open!! This is just awful. I'm disgusted by the level of incompetence and the complete disregard of another humans needs. The fact that people were outside BEFORE the closing time stated on the website is unacceptable.

Popped in for Breakfast following an early appointment at the Churchill... Good service, Good menu, good food and a very good price... 10/10 folks.

normally the food and service is excellent except for my visit to the cafe on saturday the 9th had to ask for the table to be cleaned from previous occupant when the meal arrived the batter on the fish was so overcooked it was inedable very disappointing as on previous visits the service and food is excellent

After queuing at 12.00 for 20 minutes, I asked for soup with a seeded roll as per their menu, only to be told they have no seeded rolls left, only white..and I can't eat white bread...really? In a massive supermarket? When lunchtime has only just started? Not good enough...

It's a big Sainsbury's. so you get what you expect. But it's better laid out than other big nearby supermarkets, and that is a big plus.

I don't go in this restaurant very often now due to the long queues at the till. Usually there's only one person serving and they have to take the food orders and served the drinks. It does involved a very long wait. Last Friday, I gave a try. I ordered a roast beef meal but had to settle instead for a roast chicken meal. I wasn't expecting much as the meal only £5.95. It was, as I expected, sliced chicken with roast potatoes, carrots, peas and stuffing. What I didn't like though that it was swimming in gravy. When I've had a meal here in the past the gravy came separately in a small jug and you could add as much as you liked. I don't think I'll be going in there again!

All that you would expect from Sainsburys. Its a big shop with easy access - normally. Some roadworks in the area at present.

...to order. The staff that are working work hard and are pleasant and polite, but there just aren't enogh of them at peak times. They have to take orders and make drinks which delays the whole queue waiting to order. Once ordered, the food comes quite quickly, I think there must be an army of staff behind the scenes, possibly to run the staff canteen.

We popped in for breakfast, enjoyed it so much popped back in for a cake on the way back past. I am a small eater so the bitesize breakfast was perfect, coffee was amazing. Very friendly staff. Quick service. Popped back in for coffee and cake later on, staff again were great. No complaints. We travel a fair bit, Sainsbury's is now our go to for breakfast.

I have been coming to the cafe for a little over 3 years now. There is a wide selection of food that is available which is of a good standard. However there is always a distinct lack of staff operating the tills despite high queues of people which can make it a frustrating experience if you have young kids with you. Secondly, they recently changed their excellent all day breakfast for higher quality sausages at a higher price tag. Why change a good thing??? Perhaps because they weren’t making enough from it? Sadly I don’t order the all day breakfast anymore because of the small size portions as well as it not being served with expected baked beans and potato. You have to fork out extra!!!The portions are tiny and you are left hungry. With a little more thought for what the customers want this could be an amazing venue to dine in. Saying that the staff are always nice and friendly, helpful and willing to chat to customers. (Please introduce a comments box downstairs so we can leave feedback and bring back the old everyday breakfast!!! It was fab! The sausages were fine!)
