We visited today for a coffee after a long absence how it had changed. The ambiance was dull and uninviting the furniture very basic. No chocolate of any kind available. The tea cakes were like a slab of thick fruit loaf and very stodgy. I certainly won’t be visiting again soon.

We met for coffee and cake but both ended up with a yummy hot, hot chocolate. I decided to have a toasted tea cake and my friend had a chocolate croissant. I had a bit of a wait for my tea cake as it was busy with the late breakfast rush. But it was worth the wait and my drink was still really hot when it came. Staff were friendly and the surroundings were clean and tidy.

We ate here twice in a few days as we were working nearby. We had breakfast and a lunch. Both were well cooked and tasty and good value. The menu isn't large but is good for a supermarket and better than others we have tried. Staff are helpful and service is acceptable. You even get newspapers to read and cheap coffee and tea. Everything seemed clean and food was fresh and tasty.

Stopped off for lunch on way to an exciting DIY shop. Good for kids, good for veggies, good for gluten-free. Was nothing fancy, but just nice, simple, hot food. Some had sandwiches, some had soup, some has cheesy chips, some had veggie burger. Was nice.

met my friend for late brekky. ordered a bacin baguette each and paid seperate. it came out on one plate. it was cleary a large baguette cut in half( each being a different size). one slice of bacon in one and half in the other. i took it back and saud that we wasnt happy and it was no way £3 worth. she said it was how much bacon you would get.. bearing in mind still that it was two seperate orders...she took it back and 5 minutes later it came back out after for some reason being put in the oven and baked to death and all the butter fom the roll melted over the plate...no more bacon just crispier..nit happy but ate it as was hungry by this time and no body seemed to understand what our issue was..sorry but two lost customers im afraid.

Decided that several family members would meet up at Sainsburys and have breakfast. Service reasonably quick and the food was hot. Afraid that's where anything positive ends. Hash browns over cooked and hard. Sausages pale and unappetising. Mushrooms clearly re heated in the microwave and for far too long. Would not recommend or go again.

First customers on a Tuesday morning! Good choice of dishes, served at our table. Suggest tea rather than the coffee! Full English was great, as was the egg dish my friend had. Good value.

Dropped in on our way to Yeovilton for breakfast - generally a fan of Sainsbury's breakfasts but found this one not to be their best. Standard choice, well presented but not hot - just abut warm. Somehow the cafe itself seemed colder than the shop too.

Breakfast on late morning of a Saturday after starting my journey early: having expected nothing much by that time of the day, (with the usual bacon kept for hours a hot plate), I was surprised when my full English all turned out to be cooked freshly and really well. The staff were really keen too, though, probably on instructions from some manager who'd been on the "how to gee up the team" course, they were telling us all to "enjoy", which is pushing it. (What's wrong with the occasional "alright dear?") Anyhow to quote from my favourite Austrian : I'll be back!

Stopped at this Sainsbury' s for fuel on way to Plymouth sailing job. On complaining to forecourt manager that Frome 'seemed shut for breakfast' (it was 08:00) was told that the stores cafe was open. Not a great fan of supermarket breakfasts normally but hunger drove me in and really glad I went. Great food, delicious coffee, excellent vfm and happy, helpful staff, well done Sainsbury' 10/10 for your Frome store!

Just realised I could leave a review for Sainsburys Frome Cafe! Always a great lunch. Prefer jacket spuds here than Morrisons. Never a big delay. Staff seem very happy. Enjoy!

Was really excited to try out this restaurant. Had read the media coverage and have tremendous respect for the owners. It was busy, nice weather had brought the crowds out to the outside dining area. It seems impossible to get good service these days, when you do it is rare. Has eveyone good left the industry post covid... There were plenty of staff on the floor, but systems and training were clearly lacking, and the basic good standards sadly lacking. As soon as we walked in lack of a clear greeting was a sign of what was to come. We ended up waiting far too long for our mains to arrive. Other tables also complaining and warning us about the lack of service. The place itself is beautifully & tastefully done. The menu reads incredibly well. The food did not disappoint. I sat eating the Fish Soup, trying to recall a better soup that I had ever eaten. This, I have to say was the best, absolutely incredible. The rest of the dishes were well cooked, and good, but nothing knock out. Rarely give reviews, but the lack of service was a big issue. One guy seemed to be more senior, but he was way out of his depth. Not even a goodbye as we left despite making eye contact with the Manager and floor staff! Would not recommend until the service is sorted out.

Coffee was fine but the floor in both the toilet and cafe were very dirty and unhygienic. Obviously not cleaned or checked for a long time.
