Great of products including excellent produce.

How the !!!! Do you contact a branch of Sainsbury. The contact no on the website is totally useless.

Supermarket. Very little to warrant the adjective 'super'. Large building selling pre packaged goods at post-apocalyptic prices.

Checkout staff available, not like Tesco and Morrisons, 1 on at 7:30, no waiting.

Poorly stocked and boxes of stock left lying around in aisles with indifferent customer service.

Sadly I am at a Sainsbury's almost everyday because they have everything.

A very poorly run Sainsbury’s. The stock levels are always low (especially the bread section) and the fruit/veg are rotten. Avoid!

Sainsbury's in Guildford is a top choice for prepping a Friday night BBQ. The meat selection is spot on, with everything from juicy steaks to perfectly marinated chicken that’s ready to hit the grill. Pair that with their impressive wine aisle, and you’ve got everything you need for a great evening with friends. The quality is always reliable, and the staff are helpful if you need a hand choosing the right meat or bottle.

The fresh produce has gone downhill, mouldy carrots, sprouting onions and oranges that are going off all out on display to be purchsed

Good store, could be very busy at times. I really dislike very narrow parking spaces. the car can be easily dented. Like in all Sainsbury's stores, you have much better prices on many items if you use your Nectar card. Generally well stocked, but sometimes some areas not replenished.

Good selection of product, if it's in stock, which seems to be a worsening problem, especially for collect/ delivery. Loss of pharmacy was a major blow, and a turning point in its gradual decline as it becomes more like aldi over the road...

It's a mid size Sainsbury's, gets busy at the weekends. Has a clothes section, toys and gifts. An embedded Argos which is handy. There is also fresh bakery goods here, which does decent sourdough bread and kalamata olive bread. Missing a pharmacy but does have the usual medicine aisle. Recently they have added a deli section and a new freefrom section(fridge/freezers are empty here at the moment) . Since writing this review, not much has changed. The world's food section and free from section is bit bigger now though.

Only used the toilet! It saves my life.

Great selection, very nice shop

There shrinking the size of the fruit and vegetables and then pricing it by item so they can charge more for each kg and reduce transport costs. It makes eating healthily doubly difficult, more peeling and less food to eat. Are any other supermarkets doing this ? Where is the best place to shop for tasty and larger organic fruit and veg ?

Big carpark, stocks most things, occasionally out of stock of random items. Has a good bakery.

Got petrol from the garage. For some reason they didn't sell steak and chips. Never been in this Sainsbury's so can't comment. Presumably it's like all the others in that it sells consumables in an efficient manner...

It was ok... usual Sainsbury's..... plus petrol..

I only went for coffee but they had none of what I get, but I have mentioned about stock being pushed way back on high shelves making it impossible to reach for some like me, but now they are doing the same in fridges, I had to ask for help getting something down, and it was a stretch for them, stock needs bringing to the front when they see them pushed back.

I love shopping at Sainsbur's. Each store I've visited so far is well organised, neat, clean and tidy. Staff always helpful. Great offers - good value for money!

No complaints about the store, but I find the security team very intimating it seems as soon as I walk into he store iam followed!? I've never stolen anything in my life and never would, my little boy even said mummy that man follows us!!

Whilst I appreciate everything has gone up Sainsbury is not ridiculously expensive..I am sorry to say I shall not be increasing my Club card points especially with the increasing in utilities.

Huge superstore with a stunning variety of goods. Open till late. Really enjoyed getting lost in all the isles and seeing what's available. Self-service check out was easy to use, but because we bought wine, we had to wait on an agent to authorize our purchase. Was not aware of that. But it makes sense. Only one agent was available at the time we went, so it meant we had to wait a while for her to finish with a client query. Next time, we will use the agent assisted check out in stead. But I will recommend Sainsbury's 👌

Easter Monday and no Easter eggs. Getting ready for Christmas in April?

A decent sized store with a good selection of products. Has a good sized car park too but the entrance/exit can get congested at busy times. We visited on the day Sainsbury's had their card payment issues so couldn't get much as the cash point outside had been emptied by other customers.

Not enough blue badge spaces and they are usually taken by people who don't need them as they wait for people in the store with no badge on display. Trolleys are never available outside the store. Pick up point is always blocked by people parking their cars to go inside.

Their self check out gave me a Scottish 10 pound note. I informed them of what happened and asked if they can change it for English note. They clearly didn't listen, cos their response was to take it to the bank to change it. I asked why should I when their self check out pushed it out. I told them to check their camera. And I wouldn't come in with a Scottish note to change it at a supermarket. They clearly didn't believe me. Don't know if it's a racial thing or what. Cos after the host said to change it. The check out ladies were questioning it, as though I was lying. Then the same host comes and questions me about it again. I told her to check the cameras. Cos I got no time to lie. In the end it got done. Although I shouldn't have to go through all of this. I been shopping at sainsbury for years and this is the worst experience I have ever had.

Superstore, conveniently close by. Not as good quality goods as its prices imply. Staff vary. Some very nice, others moody and curt. Nectar offers are restrictive. Not my favourite place to shop regularly. Sorry.

Almost everytime I go to Sainsbury's I get frustrated. Either the handheld self-scanning things aren't working or whatever I'm mainly there for isn't stocked or I can't find something simple (like a bathing loofah). Honestly, I only go here when I think they'll have something that Aldi doesn't but it's becoming more common that Sainsbury's won't have it either.

Have always liked shopping at Sainsburys, changed quite a bit since I was last at Burpham.

This is a massive grocery store with VERY wide aisles and a huge assortment of products, and very helpful employees. It was a pleasure to shop there.

Very busy on Sunday at lunchtime

They have plenty of trolleys with baby strap in seats, however they are extremely difficult to access when you’re holding a baby, so it is very very frustrating. Even if they are at the front of a trolley stack they are often soaking wet, so you are left with the same issue of having to take all of the front trolleys out into the middle of the road in order to access a dry one. They used to be kept outside the front of the store in the dry, where the disabled trolleys are, but for whatever reason have been moved. Trying to discuss this with a human on the phone proved to be an impossible task, hence why I’m left with no option other than to leave a review.

Staff always helpful, stock choices are consistent. I've noticed a whole aisle dedicated to Free-From products, which is good news!

It may seem as though I always slate Sainsbury's Godalming, But, it never really changes here, shelves, especially fresh food, often poorly stocked, self checkout (Smart Shop) expect 2-3 checks a month! Trusting company!!

Biggest Sainsbury's store in Guildford. Good range with Nectar discounts. Lots of parking spaces.

This is a massive shop with a wonderful selection of both edible and household items. I don't think that there is anything you need that you wouldn't get here.

It's a good place to have a beer and listen to good music

Janet on tills made for a smooth operator, somehow managing to ring up everything correctly and hold conversation at the same time. Thank goodness, because all the beepers constantly going off near self check-outs was distressing me! I really think they should allow the staff to have a coffee cup as they serve, it must get banal being plonked there all day. I didn't realise the food crisis was so bad that it had hit Guildford?! Really wish they'd restock the Yeo Valley yoghurts and value fresh smooth orange juice.

Hit and miss.... had some experiences of really great customer service but also had some very bad customer service from some very rude staff. Usually stocked very well and can find everything I need.

I'd personally give this branch 0 stars if I could. The security company are a joke. They're very intimidating and will follow select customers around the shop making their experience very unpleasant. The security did this to me every time I shopped here, yet I've never stolen anything in my life. Raised this to one of the managers, I use this term lightly as she was absolutely useless. She even laughed in my face when I made a point and refused to escalate my complaint to head office, as per policy.

Sainsbury shopping were worthy with the Nectar discount card.

Good value and quality with some great offers . . . particularly if you have a nectar card.

I've been shopping at Sainsbury's for decades. I do our weekly shop during weekday evenings after work and they're regularly out of key fruit & veg, bread, eggs and the fresh stock that is there is often short dated and sometimes I've mistakenly bought something to cook for the weekend only to find it's already out of date. And when there's social offers or special Nectar prices the shelves are empty on those items. During a holiday week, I shopped there in the morning and it was fabulous with special offers available, fresh food with plenty of days left but also highlighted that those forced to shop outside daytime work hours are massively disadvantaged. Fortunately there's an Aldi next door where I get to pick up the missing items although Aldi suffer from the same problem of evening shopping missing stock but it's a tiny shop compared with the huge Sainsbury's and it's frankly not good enough.

Great for the stuff Aldi doesn't stock.

Well better looking entrance to store than knaphill!! That said as usual and sadly becoming the same at all Sainsbury’s now customer service is appalling! I searched for 20 mins for a staff member to help me even tried phoning the store? I found a lovely lady who took the time to help me locate the item I was looking for while doing her shopping. Turns out she was an off duty member of staff! Well she needs a medal. Her name Celia! Sainsbury’s take note. I have shopped in Sainsbury’s for years and my mother before but I am slowly giving up, in this day of on line shopping all stores have left is looking after your customer, and great goods. Well apart from Celia today Sainsbury’s you fail on both Big Time.

I love shopping at this store. Everyone says that Sainsbury's is very expensive. I do not think so. In addition, the product quality is good. I also buy clothes and shoes for my son. The quality is excellent.

I regularly shop at sainsbury's. I find that I end up eating more healthier as they thend to have a large varirity of friuit and vegatable. The also have several other iteam on my healthly shoping list such as flaxseeds, olive oil, different types of vinagers. All this plus nector points

Sainsbury's Burpham is a great place to do your weekly shop. The store is well-stocked with a wide variety of products, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I especially appreciate the fact that the store offers a variety of healthy options, as well as a wide selection of local produce. I would definitely recommend Sainsbury's Burpham to anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience.

Perfect small store, if you have time visit the big store in knaphill. Not many offers in house but fruit and veg is of good quality.

You can't phone the store. only a a national "bot" that doesn't work. So drive all the way there to find they don't stock what I'm looking for. A waste of my time. Impersonal service. Very disappointing
