Sainsbury's in Runnymede

Sainsbury's Staines was a bit tired and shabby inside but these days it's made a big effort, staff nolonger lacklustre and tired, but keen to please helpful and friendly. Well done to all

During the payment, the machine took an extra £10. I tried to address it, but the seller made it so complicated that I just gave up.

Good variety of products and quality. Shelves are usually well stocked. Not so easy to find staff along the aisles. Manned tills should be better shown.

This place is getting empty and empty. It's just ridiculous. Only self checkout. We need assistance more than 6 times ( having a few bottles of alcohol ). I'm sorry to say that , but I will not come back again . This store needs a complete upgrade .

Unfortunately Staines Sainsbury's is a bit hit and miss, sometimes well stocked others half empty. Hardly any staff around so maybe that's why the shelves are not stocked. Also its alway's very cold in the store, I assume to keep the goods fresh. When it's 33° outside and you have to wear a coat in there to keep warm. Also, we get Nectar offers, always on things they don't stock. One bad issue recently was I found some meat slices a week past the use by date, I raised it with a member of staff, the following week the same meat was still there. Again I raised it and this time they removed it immediately.

Reasonably well stocked Sainsbury's with the usual essentials. Sometimes if you appear to go a Monday evening or Thursday evening these seem to be their days of replenishing over night so the aisles can be a little empty. A small clothing range with the store but this is all constraints on space and now the local Argos is in the store. Underground parking good for when it's bad weather and usually quieter than up top. Also has a petrol station and a very temperamental car wash.

I am trying to find out if I left my spectacles in this store. The one time I got through to the click and collect they cut me off. Been cut off four times now and half an hour later I still haven’t got an answer as they keep hanging up. Terrible Customer Service from Sainsbury’s and Argos. Also why do companies wind up their customers with these electronic jungles? Do I have to get in my car to find out? Appalling!!

Always been happy with service in this store

If you're going to make me scan my own shopping and treat me like a suspected criminal and detain me until scan my receipts to exit, the very least you can do is get staff that are less interested in chatting about irrelevant topics, and more interested in helping customers.

I'm in a wheelchair and the staff and customers were so helpful, definitely shop there again.

The car park always feels it's on the brink of turning into a free for all.

Decent supermarket in Staines. Easy access and parking. Relatively competitive fuel prices with easy payment process at pumps.

We just used the garage for petrol but good stock and selection of snacks.

Attended this pub for a close friend's wake. Very sad. The pub was well clean tidy with loads of staff who were friendly and efficient had a large selection of food that was well very tasty. Was told by friends who are regulars that the pub menu and food are excellent looking forward to going back

I very much prefer home delivery, but not too bad for small shopping.

I canceled my subscription and they withdrew money from my bank account and told them three times and I did not find money honestly the worst club and what I recommend

Plenty of parking. But the fact you have to scan your receipt to exit through the barriers is frustrating, especially if you aren't shopping alone. I would rather go to Tesco's a few minutes drive away to avoid this issue

Like most other supermarkets, sainsburys are reducing cost by dramatically, reducing stock choice...which is a race to the bottom, for all of us.

A classic sainsbury. However, it didn't have an gluten free sandwiches which was disappointing.

Very disappointing that only one cashier on checkouts for the 2nd week running (despite a manager promising that this was an isolated incident the previous week). Come on Sainsburys, you're in danger of losing me as a loyal customer. If you think I'm going to wait around in a queue for 15 minutes with a trolley load of shopping (including frozen items) I'll take my £150 per week shopping bill somewhere that provides a better service.

In my area they were the only place that had ox tails. Gagging for an ox tail stew. The store is well set out, and very clean. The staff were very polite and professional. Last thing the store was well stocked. Definitely go there again.

Good selection foods 😋 plenty of parking spaces

The place is huge and has a wide range of groceries which you can choose from. Downloading the 'Nectar' app saves you quite a few pounds. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to shop for groceries in bulk.

Given that this is a store selling fresh foods - you know, that people handle all day - it’s pretty unforgivable that both the gents and ladies loos have mingingitis . NO SOAP in either toilet, then you go and handle the produce. Think about that for a while. The gents appears not to have been cleaned all day and stinks like an old nappy. Starbucks lady was awesome, though.

Worst sainsburys I've ever been to. Checkout staff are brilliant but if you need customer service, or management intervention woe be unto you. Best avoided. So many better places to shop in the area.

Close to the twon and parking is convenient

First time back in the UK for 4 years, so first supermarket that I've visited, very helpful staff and a very helpful young lady on the tills this evening. Will be doing my shopping here while I'm back.

Well what an experience, playing music low non offensive RnB (Justin Timberlakes Holy Grail) and ordered to turn off music by man in grey sweater. Then after I've paid security tells me next time no music as there have been complaints. Not by other customers who complimented the music. Ask to speak to the manager and refered to little lady who states my music is offensive. I'm black!! She then states its booming and she can't hear me but she was just talking to me. I told her their approach was offensive and that her handling was as such too. In addition being told turn that off with a face on rather than being asked by the original manager was not good customer relations and that their stereotyping turn of phrase and admonishing me in full view of the checkouts made me feel uncomfortable were illegal and there are laws to protect my rights which they were infringing. Black man being talked to by security and management in full fiew of a 98% caucasian clientele. When I asked about my complaint she said she would take it for me, intimating it was a verbal process. Take my complaint verbally after exhibiting such prejudice. I told her I would put my complaint in myself. Absolutely abysmal. I note there were no black staff that I saw at all instore. Shocking Sainsburys suggest you look into it.

It's sainsburys.. Great product and prices are very reasonable considering we're now paying twice as much as we used too. Staff are always helpful and cheerful.. Starbucks on the doorstep with ample parking and a petrol station.

Clean shop, well-stocked, great range of products. Excellent fresh produce. Pity the clothing and stationary sections are rather limited.

Friendly staff and great price for fuel

Shocking toilets poops and toilet roll everywhere and someone’s fake eyelashes lift in the sink- yum.

This store use to have excellent standards in place for rotation of stock, cleanliness and chill/frozen chain when I worked there. They were the main focuses of the night-shift above even filling, but, this has taken a nosedive over the ensuing years. Every fresh product has older stock in behind, the shelves are often dirty, the leaks that have always been there are 100 times worse leaving huge puddles around the store. I've observed fresh stock on cages on shop floor for over an hour. Also, frozen stock on shop floor in cages for a similar amount of time. During these times I've observed staff stood around chatting and on their phones even a couple flirting with each other rather than getting on and doing the job. Overall it is one of the worst run stores in the company.

Lacks the range of products in the likes of Slough and High Wycombe. Disappointingly not always stocked that well even during the middle of the day so will never be a reliable go to store.

Just passing through and stopped here for some groceries. Good size store, way too many disabled and family parking spaces forcing others to park further away, this needs addressing. Got exactly what I went in for, staff were friendly.

My mushrooms I bought earlier today dated 31st (4 days away) had mould under the top layer, so I had to chuck them. Not happy.

Bought a drink for £1.50 and had to scan my receipt in order to leave. A complete waste of time. When I questioned this stupid process - the women working said to her colleague “it’s going to be one of those days”. scanning of receipts a complete waste of time.

Range is getting worse and worse. No meat counter. No fish counter. No Deli counter. Sainsbury is engaged in a race to the bottom. Shame, when it used to be pretty good.
