Costa Coffee in Runnymede

Always a pleasure here,clean, friendly and good coffee

The Costa Café in Addlestone and was impressed by its lovely location and the inviting natural light that fills the space. It's a really nice spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. However, my experience was marred by an unfortunate interaction with one of the staff members. While I was waiting in line, the demeanor of one particular staff member was completely unprofessional. As soon as the customer in front of me had placed their order and it was my turn, all the staff seemed to ignore me. There wasn't even a simple acknowledgment like "hi" or "I'll be with you in a minute." It felt as though I was invisible. When Joseph finally attended to me, it was as if he was doing me a favor rather than providing customer service. His manners were really undesirable. I inquired about other types of food available, but it was clear that neither Joseph nor the other staff were in the mood to attend to customers with basic courtesy, which is especially important in a customer service role. Although the treatment improved slightly by the end of my visit—with the staff saying goodbye after I thanked them—I found the initial interaction off-putting, I know everyone can have a bad day. I hope that my experience was just a one-off situation and not reflective of their usual service standards.

I ask the staff if the internet is working as I need to do some work, they say yes. I then try to log in, but my VPN says the line is not secure and thus I cannot work. I then give the staff feedback, only for them to tell me yes we have been having these issues for weeks and they cant access the internet themselves, but nobody has come around to fix it. Luckily I only bought a black coffee!

1 person serving , takes 3 peoples orders after mine before starting my order. Slow service

Coffee came out very odd, didn’t remember glass of water Basically every table dirty with rubbish left on despite being quiet

I'm a regular costa customer, I usually order the dairy-free Chocolate Brownie Frappe. Blessed to have the Addlestone branch as my local Costa, where I prefer to be served by Chloe, who always remembers my order exactly how I like it and makes it better than any other branch I visit, always topped off with a friendly greeting and smile. More people like Chloe please 🙏 😊

The 2 girls on duty today- Sunday 18th June 2023 at 4.40pm -were unwelcoming/wanting to go home/bordering on unpleasant/would only allow take out cups/happily turned away 2customers at 5pm/told us to leave at 5pm on the dot/and created a less than pleasant experience. Furthermore they were happy for the owners to lose customers too.

I get a drink here every day(capuchino) the service is great and always with a smile

Went in for a coffee run and was met with excellent service, will be going to this Costa instead for the morning coffees and such now.

This particular Costa has the most pleasant staff, sometimes they go above baristas, sofiya the manager is always friendly, the selection has improved with the introduction of m&s food

Horrendous and disgusting. Wrong items, everything spilt in the bag. How can you possibly get everything wrong this bad. Total waste of money and now we have no food. Just awful.

I'm sure its lovely service but why dont they take cash? I understand for some of the smaller branches but this is a busy site on a through road. Would appreciate the option. Couldn't get my coffee today! 😔

Walked down to Costa for a break from work and hot choc pick me up. Only to be told I couldn’t have both marshmallows and cream? I’m not sure i’ve ever been to a costa where I have been told i’m only allowed one or the other? News to me! Disappointed that this is the second time i’ve picked up a drink from there and not received what i’ve asked for.

Costa is conveniently located in the middle of the high street opposite the Tesco car park. There is always seating available whenever we have visited and the coffee is made really well every time. We haven't had a bad one. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will be visiting again.

Always a good coffee here, every changing but lovely staff usually, really good air conditioning so if you need a break on a hot day it’s a good option! Recommend trying the little chocolate treats!

Sometimes costa coffee can be hit and miss with the coffee quality but I had one of the best Flat whites here. Definitely the best coffee in addlestone. Sat near the window with sun coming in as it’s got large windows, and enjoyed my panini and coffee with my laptop :) great staff in this costa and it was nice and clean too. Thanks guys I’ll def be back next time I’m in the area. Easy to park opposite too :)

Always look out for a Costa when away from home. This one had smiling friendly staff and usual coffee.

I have never been here before & have used Costa before. It was very cosy branch, clean & tidy, staff very friendly & was served by Majed thank you to him. There are plenty of tables & chairs inside & out. I sat inside as it was lovely warm sunny day, but it sits on a busy main road on a corner & people smoke as its not for me. I had a toasted cheese & mushroom sandwiches, crisps, med hot choc, caramel & choc shortbread, all very yummy. There are toilets, but didn't use. Newspapers to read. I would recommend, next time I am in town def will do. Don't forget to use your reward card.
