Papa John's in Runnymede

First Papa John’s pizza experience and we were not disappointed! Absolutely amazing pizza and fantastic team working hard there. Chap who served us was so patient and helpful and ensured we got the best deals/value for money. Extremely reasonably priced and our order fed all 4 of us with more than enough leftover for tomorrow’s lunch too!! Vegan options aplenty and the vegan hot dog & jackfruit pepperoni toppings were delicious! We heard it was the best pizza ever and we definitely agree! Will highly recommend getting a collection from the Addlestone team and can’t wait to return next time we visit as it was a highlight of our holiday! Thank you!!

As a pizza lover, I was very impressed! Papa johns is truly a great pizza place but proper pizza hits the spot. I love the desserts and the range of pizzas!

Ordered at 18.26. Delivery time confirmed due 19.05-19.25. Phoned restaurant 3 times and fobbed off each time. Arrived 20.18 - delivery driver said busy because of the football but if we had been given a realistic delivery time when ordering we would have gone elsewhere - request full refund!

I just am XXL tandoori pizza and it turned out the worst I've ever had from papa John's. So disappointed.

food never turned up, was told traffic bad but according to Google maps no congestion on roads. not at all happy.

Just ordered a bbq chicken pizza for delivery - got 6 slices …. for £27!!! Robbery.

Bare faced liers. Incorrect order received. Called to shop, advised will replace wings providing we didnt eat any more of the incorrect order, implying we were lying. 50 minutes later we called shop they said they rang buzzer knocked on door and tried to call. No missed calls, no knocks, no buzzer whilst we were waiting. Called me liar. Shocking communication, total charlatan stay well away.

The delivery driver was very rude and impatient Shane cause it spoiled what was a great meal

Paid for 4 dips and received none

Phoned the shop an hour after we ordered to see where the food was and they said it was just going in the oven. Phoned again half an hour later and they said it still wasn’t in the oven. Ended up cancelling our order and ordering from somewhere else. They lied to us on the phone, and it was the worst service we’ve ever had.

Terrible delivery. Drivers should be vetted better. Horrible experience.

Sunday evening at 5pm, over 40mins to deliver a pizza. Turns up cold, and totally mashed up, inedible! Phone up and they have the cheek to say it takes a week to refund, and the driver will comeback to collect. Shop run by clowns and surprised still in business given do the other options on the high street, who all manage to deliver on time.

Friendly courteous telephone manner. Swift great suggestions for alternatives. Considering the heavy road works in the area. Timely efficient delivery straight to the door with the food still fresh and hot. Recommended for those nights when you're caught off guard and don't have time to cook.

Got our order wrong for the 2nd time in 2 days. FFS. What skill set do you need to read a frickin order?!?!?! Said I wouldn’t use them again, but did as my other half wanted a specific pizza which happens to be the one they messed up 😡

Got my order wrong. Wouldn’t sort it out as we had tasted the pizza. That’s how we figured it was wrong. Won’t go there again!

When I was house sitting for a friend The delivery driver couldn't find the address dispite my clear instructions, my standing out the front of the house in my slippers on a freezing night and several phone calls in which he hung up on me each time, he was very rude and in the end didn't turn up. The manager said he'd refund me, this never happened. Luckily I'd paid by PayPal so requested my own refund

Shocking place, take your order, take money off your card and had no intentions of ever fulfilling the order as apparently they had 200 orders to get through with 3 staff members. 6 days later still waiting for my refund, barely an apology, no explanation and their customer service department are rude and pretty useless too and did nothing to help. Wont be ordering again and will give my business to Dominos instead.

Ordered the food at 19:30 didn’t arrive until gone 22:00, phoned the store twice and was told it never came through to be made they’ll make it now and took over an hour to come after that, very disappointed

The food was nice and warm but a little dry.

They forgot the free buffalo sauce Also, cauliflower wings were less in amount than usual

We ordered a pizza for delivery. On giving the card details we were told it was declined & could we pay cash. I said we could & gave the amount we had to ensure we got change. When the pizza arrived the delivery driver said he had no change & didn't know we hadn't paid. He said if we wanted the pizza he'd have to take the cash we had. I managed to run & get the right money from a shop nearby otherwise that would have been a 35% tip!! When we opened the pizza it was not what we thought. The "works" didn't live up to expectation, the ingredients were limited & tasteless & the base was a horrible wholemeal version, not what we ordered & the crust had uncooked bits. The worst pizza I've had from a takeaway. We have very few takeaways, they are a treat. This wasn't.

Didn’t even made it, just took my money

Food was ok, bit dry and not as warm as my previous delivery which was last week. Papidas was tasty but again a bit lukewarm. wasn't bad but wasn't great either.

The pizza was folded in hald and the incredients outside the pizza, could not eat anything, the delivery guy came way early

Manager hangs up when he is passed the phone by other workers. Over 1 hour late & repeatedly lying about food being on the way, they seem to have no idea what order your talking about. Extremely rude & hostile on the phone! Presumably because they know they are wrong

Phoned Papa Johns to see if my food was out for delivery and they said it was, however it still took over half an hour to come.

99% of the time I order they somehow mess it up. Whether it’s CHICKEN on my vegan pizza, or dairy cheese, or no cheese at all. Today I ordered a vegan garden party with olives and pineapple added on and just got a pizza with the extras, they forgot the main pizza toppings?? Plus whenever I order I have to add extra vegan cheese because they never add more than a small handful usually. Always disappointing. Starting to think it’s purposeful.

1st and last time. Nothing special. We could have bought 7 nice tasting large pizzas from one shop or 4 even better ones from M&S. This was a treat for the kids and hubby. Not such a treat! Don't waste your money

I loved how early it was delivered as well as the freshness the food and speed of the restaurant service.

Unfortunately the wrong pizza was delivered. We ordered a Works Pizza on a thin base, and we got a small cheese and tomato pizza on a thick base.

Has gone downhill recently. Food regularly takes over an hour to arrive. Tonight's food arrived after 1 hour 20 mins, food was luke warm and I was missing an item.

Delivery time was an hour (5min drive away). Food was cold. Quality seal on the box wasn’t stuck on both sides so lid wasn’t stuck down. Ordered 2x garlic and herb dips however garlic butter dips were sent (special garlic). Driver was however very friendly and placed my order on a table on my doorstep to ensure social distancing which I was impressed with. Would order again however I will be putting my coat on and getting it myself.

Our most recent experience of Papa John's was awful. Over 2 hours waiting for our pizza which then arrived cold. Tried ringing the store multiple times to find out where it was but no one answered leaving us in the dark as to whether or not it was ever going to arrive!

The pizza was not hot. It seems like it was sat there for too long and was lukewarm by the time it reached us. I also had to recut the slices as they hadn’t been cut properly. Very disappointed and I will not be ordering from here again.

Ordered for students and delivery was so late, all the students left hungry.

Good food, however twice, on different days I haven't been given a tube of ice-cream that I paid for which obviously not customer friendly attitude. Their customer services is not effective enough. Probably that is why these guys can afford whatever they wanted to.

Ordered food around 3:20. and it was accepted. Delivery time was estimated at 4-4:20 Waited till 5pm and rang and asked where the delivery was. Food had to be cooked so I waited again Order turned up missing side order so I rang up and was told it would be there soon Side order turned up at 6:40 cold. Could not be bothered to ring up again The first few times I ordered from here they were amazing but last 2 orders have been disappointing.

Use Papa John's if we need /want a Pizza absolutely brilliant. Excellent food and delivery. The Works, is full of flavour and crammed with toppings. Never disappoints.

Ordered 5 times, more than 1h and a half i had to wait every time. Not enough cheese on pizza, all the time forgot about my sauce, need to call them at least 2 times to pick up... if i want to ask them something.

The most disappointing standard of service in a long time. Ordered at 19.10 some pizzas they eventually arrived at 20.50 is that a joke!!!! No one answered the phone at all, and all we get after is a follow up email with £5 off your next order. Actually we won’t be placing another order and at the very least we should get a full refund 😡 disgrace!!!

Probably the worst Pizza I have ever eaten, the ingredients that were used had no taste at all. I would not order another pizza even if was given to me free of charge.

Although the food was still warm it could have been warmer or hot.

Driver should have been given my instructions left with JustEat, but he obviously wasn't so that's major disappointment. You need to sort it out so please make sure the driver is given the instructions next time.

Food is brilliant I have to say but after an issue with driver I found that unfortunately the customer service is absolutely appalling! I get more sense out of my 8 year old. When asked who I can put through a complaint to I got “Erm not sure probably head office, look on the website”. Will not be ordering from this branch again.

Pity about delivery, food good though. Restaurant wouldn’t answer the phone for us to find out. ☹️

The delivery guy was very sweet and used a little camp table to be able to socially distance. I only felt bad I didn’t have a tip for him.

Arrival time was supposed to be 7.15pm, at 7.45pm I phoned addlestone papa johns to find out where order was or if it was ready. Apparently they had not been instructed on order from just eat , but they found order and they said that it would be put through straight away . The delivery finally turned up just now at 8.40pm. We now have in our ovens to heat up as they have arrived warm !! Not impressed this time ,I’m afraid .

Apparently the order from just eat didn't get through so they had to go redo the order. They were really apologetic and lovely about it but I can't believe an establishment got it so wrong.

Wasn't awful but wasn't great. Both pizzas I ordered felt like they spent a couple of minutes to long being cooked, but I assume that's just how they cook them. All in all I think for over £40 it was a disappointing experience.

I don't go much on Pizza as a rule but just fancied one for a change and i found i enjoyed it. Nice an spicy but an expensive treat at nearly £20 for one.

Just had a pizza, chicken wings and chocolate cinnamon rolls and it was delicious! We don't usually order from Papa John's but have been on quarantine for 11 days and haven't left the house so it was a treat. The delivery man left it outside and then I collected it so very safe, will definitely order again x

Pizza poor quality, no BBQ flavour what so ever, almost cold, tasteless.

The pizza was very good as usual, however the deep fried cauliflower was dreadful and need to come off menu.

It’s ok but I feel asif they keep tweeking small things like the sauces and toppings that are making the pizzas not as nice

For some reason this branch cant cook delicous pizzas pther papa johns are great. I always go dominoes over this as last couple of times the food has tasted below average

Can see pizza being cooked. Helpful and efficient staff. Food very tasty. Even though we had a 10 minute walk home the food was still very hot.
