I had a full English breakfast. The food was barely warm, they have not discovered how to grill and the oil they used was of poor quality. The toast had had a glancing look at a toaster and really was just buttered bread. I did complain and the staff simply said they will let the chef know. I did go also six months ago and had the same experience.

Working here was a shambles. Pay was good, but I've seen myself and others lose that smile. The cafe is currently run by two bullies, Priya and Burke, who have a very middle-eastern approach to management, segregating guys from girls and have a lack of sympathy or empathy for their staff, talking down at them to make themselves feel empowered; Almost narcissistic-like. Most the time they would favour older members of staff over younger ones, without taking the situation in to account. The food itself isn't cooked properly and portions are disjointed, no consistency with what youre getting. If I hadn't have been depressed myself I would have taken this all further.

Church EndGreat spot with lovely outdoor soace and oldy worldy interior but terrible pub. I think the idea of 'hospitality' has passed them by completely. The staff really couldn't be bothered. Flat drinks, 1970s style ploughman's and a truly awful salad with congealed dressing. Avoid until they've had some training or can be bothered to try to offer a welcome.

Bourne End Garden Centre Hedsor RoadDreadful! No other word could describe he appalling staff, service and cleanliness of this cafe. When asked what we wanted ( the staff member could barely be bothered to ask) we were quickly warned that there were no cups for tea only paper ones- not off to a good start! As the cakes were priced at £4.25 we expected a reasonable slice of cake but as the price has gone up shrinkflation has reduced the size to that of a Mr Kiplings slice! All the tables were laden with uncleared dirty china which customers had moved from table to table, the ‘clean’ cutlery was filthy, obviously the dishwasher isn’t working properly, and as for the staff… disinterested, all doing their own thing, no organisation. We spent £25 on poor quality food and drink. We were unable to complain at the time as there was no manager working today! Avoid! It may be worth reading other reviews as it would seem I’m not alone with this opinion!
