Loved the biryani , you guys should really try introducing a hydrabadi style dum biryani. It is grossly underrepresented in this area, and no one else is doing it except near Bedfordshire

Have ordered several time on Just-Eat and have collected in person, and the food is always good. I wish this restaurant introduced Hydrabadi-style dum biryanis, as this would not only differentiate them but also serve a gap in the market which exists in this area

Was really looking forward to my favourite curry walked for 25 minutes and the damn shop was closed 25 minutes before supposed to!!!! . Bad move Sahara 😡 now sat on the stairs waiting for a bloody kebab. Not happy one bit. Now I’ve got to sit on the stairs for up to 45 minutes because my kebab is going to take bloody ages. Thanks a lot, Sahara. 💔😡😓

Ordered a takeaway through their website marked delivery asap. The food turned up 45 mins later, it was hot and nothing spilled out anywhere. They even put in 5 chicken tikka slices in batter FOC, was bloody lovely. Food was incredible as usual. This is one of the best Indian restaurants/takeaways in Hemel Hempstead.

Ordered a take away for family anf friends which arrived very quickly and lovely and hot. The quality was excellent with one of our guests commenting that they wished they delivered to Leighton Buzzard where they live as its one of the best curries they had ever had

Best Indian we’ve had in years. Food was fresh, hot and so tasty. If you’re not a huge spice fan try the mango delight, it was delicious and we loved the desserts also! Delivery driver was lovely, got a free vegetable dish and we ate it all. Will be ordering again, absolutely worth it.

The food was nice except that the butter lamb was extremely sweet and had a very strong coconut flavour. Also, the onion bahji I had was very dry in the middle and hard to cut. The Pathia was nice but far too spicy (hotter than a Vindaloo!). The rest of it was really nice though and thank you for the free chilli paneer.

I can’t believe this place has 4.8 stars it’s bland and tasteless. It’s not what you call authentic in anyway.. I’m so disappointed I actually ordered from here before and got the same disappointing food… totally forgot the name of the place and I’ve ended up leaving it on the kitchen side just disappointed…the chicken tastes like it was just put in the sauce not cooked with it bland in every way and the watery unseasoned and un-spiced tomato sauce is soo bad. I don't usually leave reviews but my party and I were quite shocked at the standards of food delivered to us. The curries were bland and tasteless. I appreciate their recipes might be tailored more towards western audiences, but what we consumed definitely couldn't be considered Indian cuisine. Our two different curries felt like we were eating slightly marinated tomato sauce. They tasted as though the chicken was simply placed in the sauces and not infused together. So the chicken meat was very bland and dry. Will not be ordering from here again.

Went there yesterday for my mum's birthday meal. Use to go a lot as a kid not been for years. And I was not disappointed was so impressed by the service and the food was spot on the tandoori chicken masala was so tender and full of flavour can't fault it. Look forward to go there again soon thanks guys for a good experience

Delicious Naga and Lemon and Chilli Rice tonight! Flavour was amazing! Packed with flavour. I have had many Nagas from Sahara over the years and have to say the Lamb was a bit tough tonight and also in the past have received salad and a pot of sauce. Nothing any longer, I know we are in hard times but a bit of salad wouldn't hurt folks! With less tough Lamb and a complimentary salad or poppadom like the good old days you would have scored 5 STARS! Still very good and recommended.. Delivery Driver is first class and give him a Pay Rise!

We’ve had a great time this evening. Went for my son’s birthday. Service was great. Food even better. Everything we asked for was delivered. I don’t think the staff could have been nicer or more attentive. The food we ordered was so delicious that we couldn’t stop eating it. Great price too.

I don't usually go for Indian curries and I really liked the food in Sahara. It was a big group of us and service was excellent. We all got exactly what we ordered. Curries were not oily at all. Flavours were excellent. I would go back without a doubt.
