Starters were amazing, mains were absolutely tasteless, I wouldn't go back if it was free. Service was amazing though, the guys were lovely.

Went there yesterday for my mum's birthday meal. Use to go a lot as a kid not been for years. And I was not disappointed was so impressed by the service and the food was spot on the tandoori chicken masala was so tender and full of flavour can't fault it. Look forward to go there again soon thanks guys for a good experience

We’ve had a great time this evening. Went for my son’s birthday. Service was great. Food even better. Everything we asked for was delivered. I don’t think the staff could have been nicer or more attentive. The food we ordered was so delicious that we couldn’t stop eating it. Great price too.

I don't usually go for Indian curries and I really liked the food in Sahara. It was a big group of us and service was excellent. We all got exactly what we ordered. Curries were not oily at all. Flavours were excellent. I would go back without a doubt.

Ive never actually eaten in, however it's my go to take out, you can't go wrong, the samosa's are banging the curry is banging, the wait time is banging (it's so short) I cannot recommend this place enough! Though unlike other places that may put in a free food item here or there, there's none of that - but tbh compared to a place like that the food makes up for it!!

Beautiful food & full of flavour and always hot and fresh. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and there isn’t enough they could do for you. My new local go to Indian :)

Been ordering from Sahara for more than 5 years now. The food has always been fantastic and the service quick. Some stand out dishes are the Tandoori Chicken Massala and Sanjays Special. There is no better Indian in Hemel or the surrounding area for that matter.

The food arrived earlier than expected, the driver had good customer service. The food: personal opinion only!! The onion bhaji's although really big (serving of two) they didn't have very much flavour of onion, spice or otherwise. The lamb tikka masala was extremely watery, lacked flavour and sadly wasn't finished. The diner of that meal said that a better version of that dish was found in st.albans. However the chicken shishlak was so lovely, the veg was still crunchy, the right amount of spice on the chicken, by far the best I've had and the garlic naan was just as delicious.

The friendliest delivery man strikes again and that’s a big reason for the 5 stars good food bit delivery man exceptional !

This place gets my top marks. Why? Because the man that delivers the food is the best in Hemel. He looks smart, always has a smile and a joke, super polite. I’ve ordered a lot from here and he’s a ray of sunshine. Please ensure he gets this feedback personally and he gets a good bonus or tip!! Better friendlier service than most sit down restaurants

The food has always been great however the last two orders were poor quality and bland. Maybe a different chef? This will be my last time.

Food was very nice. The peshwari Nan was one of the best we’d had, the prawn Pathia was packed with prawns. The butter chicken sauce was nice but don’t think the chicken had been marinated in it so chicken itself, though beautifully tender didn’t have a lot of flavour. Would definitely order from Sahara again.

Had a delivery this evening, could not find any faults whatsoever. Mr had a chicken passanda and I had a pathia, incredibly tasty. We also had two onion bhajis free. Definitely be ordering again. 5 stars 🌟

Got a takeaway last night from the Sahara. First time for us.The food was so fresh,and still hot ,didn't need reheating.We ordered on the telephone. The flavours were amazing.Really lovely food. We were given 45 minutes delivery time the order came by 30 minutes. The delivery driver was very friendly.

Popped in for a collection on Valentine's Day. Great, prompt service with a smile. 2 x Mains 2 x Rice 2 x Naans, and Poppadoms with dips. It was lovely and fresh, hot and very tasty!! I will definitely return and recommend for sure!!

It’s been a tough old week, but tonight we put the little one to bed and treated ourselves to a take away, and my goodness it was a treat. I never write reviews but I honestly think that was the best tikka masala I’ve ever had in my life. Thank-you for a lovely meal that turned up on time, to the minute!

Ordered vindaloo, chicken biriani, chicken tikka masala with pilau rice and keema nans from Sahara curry house at gadebridge. All dishes were excellent and the vindaloo was especially good with it being more on the fiery side and very spicy with it. Definite thumbs up and I would recommend the Sahara curry house, will be using them again in the future.

Normally our favourite Indian in Hemel. Unfortunately the last couple of times the portion sizes have been half of what they used to be - especially the vegetable sides. Not sure why they’re being so stingy now! Hope it goes back to normal otherwise we’ll have to find a new takeaway.

Delivery was very quick. Food was disappointing. I ordered a ceylon curry. Supposed to be a hot curry with coconut powder. Taste was pretty bland and no heat in it.
