Great service and tasty food at reasonable prices

Enjoy eating here. The food was really nice and tasty. We order something in Lamb and Turkish coffee and tea and something I can't remember now. For the first time, I tried Turkish coffee and tea. Both were perfect. My advice: Never drink Turkish coffee without a little bit of sugar. I did it and rest you can guess 🤣🤣🤣🤣 But overall all my dine in experience was really really good. The staff were friendly, polite and welcoming. Like their behaviour. Very nice people. The overall atmosphere was also nice. Thank you for giving us such a good experience. Hope to come soon.

Please please don’t don’t put the red rice you add with your food, delete it from the menu if you want to keep your customers 🚫❌ Just ordered a mixed kabab on Uber eats and it was a bad experience experience

Great food, friendly staff and well priced! We went here a few times and it was great - definitely recommend for a meal out that’s affordable (for London !! Everything is so dear) and very tasty !!

I went in with a few work colleagues and we ordered a mix plater, half of the meat was burnt. Most to all of the staff working at the restaurant hardly speak any proper English so it was difficult to make them understand anything. The chef finally came out i asked for his name which he then said Galib with the most rude attitude shouting saying he understands english when he clearly didn’t, he refused to acknowledge his mistake. It was extremely disrespectful and disappointing experience, this is the last time I will be going to such a horrible resturant

So far, the best meals I have ever had were at this restaurant. They place a high priority on hygiene, employ professional chefs, and offer excellent service. If your goal is to enjoy Turkish cuisine, there is no better place. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Just ordered lamb Donner in a box. it was dry, overcooked, smallest lamb Donner in a box I've ever had from this shop. I think it's run by new people. Maybe my last time there

This place was so good! I took one star off of service since they forgot my lentil soup but the server didn't seem to know English so that explains that. I ordered the Sea Bass which came w/salad as well as an additional side salad and I was glad I did, not because it wasn't enough food but because the flavors were very distinct. The side salad had a red wine vinegar that was absolutely delicious ( I dipped the bread in it) while the salad that accompanied the sea bass had a flavorful purple cabbage that made me a FAN. The fish was cooked perfectly, it did have bones but for 17 pounds, what do you expect? Great value for an excellent meal!

The description does not match at all what I received. There is no yogurt at all it’s just tomato sauce with kebab and some vegetables. Not even aubergine. It’s complete false advertisement.

One of the main order (Lamp Chops)was missing, had to wait for my lunch for two hours, the restaurant asked me to make another order for my missing order to be delivered so I had to pay another delivery and service charge. I had to watch my team mates eating their lunch and had to wait for two hours for my lunch and by the time the meal arrived, I was no longer hungry which I hope you would understand. The mistake should be rectified with the refund

Love this turkish restaurant and so do my kids, amazing fresh food and good portion sizes. Everytime i eat in they offer great customer service and offer free sweets to my kids always. Their Service is awesome even when i makes alot of changes to the orders, they happily cater to your needs. highly reccomend this restaurant.

We ordered the mixed platter 2 but they served us cold food - Completely cold Which means it was cooked before and was just served for us When I told the staff they just gave a blank expression and gave us complimentary rice…. Absolutely rubbish service from restaurant staff owners please look into it

The food was absolutely delicious as always, highly recommend. Unfortunately the food was damaged on arrival, so I’ve had to request a refund as everything had spilt in the bag and caused a mess. Never had this issue from here before, which indicates the fault of the driver. He handed it to me sheepishly and left quickly!

Had my office lunch over here. Very delicious and filling meal! The mix doner was my favourite. The complementary salad paired really well with the meat. Our visit to this restaurant left us thoroughly satisfied with both the quality and quantity of the food. Over all one of the best Turkish places in the area. The staff is very friendly as well!!

Used it for takeaway, late night usually, and food was great. I particularly liked the lamb meat (had the mixed kebab) as it was freshly cooked and full of flavour. I am keen to dine in soon, and definitely recommend it even for take away. People are really friendly and this is also a plus.

This restaurant needs no introduction,food is cooked to perfection, always 100, 2 man platter can feed 4 people easy,portions are huge!

Staff are friendly and helpful. Food was yummy. They seated us soon on our arrival. Didn't wait for long for food. We ordered Meat plater. Alot of food meat and veg items were included in the plater. Value for money. Will recommend it to anyone. Clean and pleasant place to eat

Nice Turkish place near the Shawell station. Overall really clean and the service is nice, always give you free bread with salad as a starter) Prices aren't high so if you like Turkish food I would recommend trying this place.

Very bad customer service , me and my friend went there on 26/04/19 at 9.45 PM there was little busy , they asked us to come back after 15 minutes as they cannot find any empty space. After 15 minutes again asked us to wait 2 minutes , after 10 minutes again another 10 minutes and again another 10 minutes . The lady at the front doesn't care as we were standing outside in cold weather . Then finally we decided to leave then had food from other nearest place. The lady at the front kind of discriminatory attitude doesn't bother to serve us. Full of disappointment. 0/10 for bad customer service.

The customer service was really good, and the hummus is one of the best I've ever tasted! The bread was extremely soft, and with the hummus, it was delicious. The main food itself was very good, although not as amazing as the starters, and the restaurant was super clean. I would definitely recommend!

My family loved this restaurant. The food was AMAZING! So flavorful and delicious. The portion sizes are very generous. Most importantly the staff are wonderful. The server and cooks were all very kind and a joy to meet. We had such a wonderful experience we ordered takeout the next day. My son wanted to go back to say goodbye since we were leaving town in the morning and I said we can order food again and you can say goodbye Again they were very nice and the food was great. What I would give to have this restaurant in my hometown. Thank you!

One of the best Turkish restaurants... The İskender was the best I have ever eaten recently. And I have been trying... Strongly recommend it.

We had a big special Turkish platter. With some extra 3 portions, lamb chops, and so many other things. It was good and testy. We love it. We also had some dissert. After that, we got some complimentary Turkish tea 🍵. Very nice 👌

I had an exquisite experience at Ruyam Turkish restaurant! The lamb chops were exceptionally delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The delightful surprise of a complementary rice pudding and an extra serving of bread added a special touch to my meal. The delivery was prompt, arriving on time and preserving the freshness of the dishes. Ruyam truly exceeded my expectations with their exceptional food and service. A culinary delight that I highly recommend!

Positive: Fresh & warm bread being served along the food. Enough space. Negative: Not well heated. Lamb Döner Wrap didn’t taste as we are used to in Germany. Falafel tasted like an instant product. Pide cook was not around. No Pide during our visit. Sad. Overall it’s ok but nothing special.

I have been to Rüyam now a few times in just over a month and it is about time to let everyone know how amazing this restaurant is. Everything, from the quality and taste of the food to the service, atmosphere and prices is just simply amazing. Just ordered for take away for the first time and now I can barely move :). Hats off to the chef and the whole team !

Place was freezing that it made our food go cold which is a shame because we couldn't enjoy

I just received a take away via Uber in the following condition. Who sends take away soup with no sealing on it? Everything is cold, covered in soup. Lids on pide boxes were damaged on top so they got soaked in soup too. Delivery was late too. Absolutely ridiculous!

I went tonight with my family for my wife’s birthday at 10pm. First thing I heard when I went in was “we are closing at 11” Felt a bit unwanted and had no response to say besides there 6 of us including my children. Sat down gave menu, took them 5 minutes plus to take our order. We ordered the platter special 2. Food came and we found the main things missing in the platter that my children like. Response we got was we are out of the donner we were busy, however the shop was empty. Also my wife was told we are getting some alternatives, but was just given extra cold meze which we had already. Also few extra chicken shish.I was very annoyed and said if you didn’t have it why would you not say it to us and we may of changed our order or gone elsewhere. When it came to the bill the had the nerve to put the service charge on it. I was asked “was everything okay sir” at the counter and when I expressed my thoughts all I got was “sorry sir, we will make it up next time” I was like it’s not good enough. I won’t be coming back, bare in mind it’s our family local one and have been going for years.

Excellent! The chicken shish, and the nourishing chicken soup were great! The mixed meze platter was very good value for money. Generous portions, lots of rice and bread (included with shish and soup), and a nice surprise with the complimentary sweet. Prompt delivery, as always. Highly recommended!

If I can put minus one I would have for the atmosphere and service - it was extremely cold and they literally refused to turn up the heat and Debbie from cash who is standing beside the grill came to us said with a nice demeaner - it’s at maximum and 18-19 LOL Wow generous nice job Debbie since you won’t feel cold as you are next to the grill Poor service

Rude staff. We asked them to turn on the heater as it is freezing inside.. staff replied they have set the heater to 18 !! They are cost saving restaurant just dont want to turn on the heater. Rude staff..

What that restaurant needs is a chef who knows Turkish food well. What is not normal to charge 23 pounds for a plate with rice and five pieces of meat, all tasteless. The rice I ordered in my platter for take away was spoilt and when I called to complain they were rude and said no one else had complained and that they made it today - food can go off on the day it’s made. I wouldn’t recommend as this is a serious issue within food safety

The food and more importantly, the brilliant service by the fantastic and friendly staff is worth coming to this restaurant. The two ladies who attended us were lovely. We are from Melbourne, Australia and know a good Turkish restaurant when we dine. This a darn good one. Go there for a fabulous experience.
