The food is insane. Amazing value for money and the atmosphere is great, get a table downstairs if you can. Well worth coming and def try the pulled pork or fajitas. Sliders are so good aswel.

Not sure where to start…disabled toilet was in a disgusting state, tables were sticky, pepper sachets on table and chairs from the previous customers, given a dirty straw, back cushion on the table closest to the kitchen fell off. Luckily this did not injure my son! Waited approx 45 minutes (if not longer) for our food, not once did Autumn the waitress come over to apologise for the wait. Restaurant was not busy as there were only 2 other tables. Every item that eventually arrived was over done but as we had waited so long some items we just ate. Some items we had no choice but to inform the waitress as they were inedible. The kids chicken nuggets had to be sent back as they were rock hard and she was very hungry by that point. The other kids Mac and cheese was sat in a pool of oil but we did not mention that as we were already fed up by that point, that was left uneaten. The chicken sliders from the platter were way over cooked, the brioche bun so over toasted it became like a biscuit. The belly pork was burnt and looked like bits of charcoal, not sure how it was even allowed to leave the kitchen. Even the chips were over cooked but somewhat edible. It was either the young chefs 1st day or he was just bought in to deputise at short notice. Bought these issues up with ‘Autumn’ but her response was shocking. Stood there for a good few minutes saying ‘that’s how we cook our food’ , ‘it’s personal preference’ , ‘the head chef isn’t in today’ and smirking not knowing how to handle the situation. A simple apology and offer to redo or take the items off the bill would have been a good start but clearly out of her depth in running FOH. She eventually offered to redo the food but we did not want to wait another 45 minutes and if that’s how you cook your food then it wouldn’t of made a difference. Asked to speak to a manager, abruptly told NO. Asked the young male ‘chef’ to speak to a manager as he walked past but Autumn told him to ‘ignore her, go inside’ which he duly obliged. Have never come across such disgusting customer service!! Service was so bad I had to laugh as it felt like I was hearing things! Then she had the audacity to say ‘I’ve taken the service charge off for you’!! Sorry but if you think you deserve anything then you’re in the wrong job!! Truly disgusted!!

Poor food, poor staff. No management, no head chef equals recipe for disaster. Pun intended. I appreciate food might be personal preference but no offer to rectify issue. How about to re cook it? Burnt hard bacon, burnt and over cooked burger, brioche bun rock hard, meant to be lightly toasted, chips over cooked with cheese that covered it hoping we wouldnt notice. Female staff known as Autumn needs people skills and training on how to deal with complaints rather than smirk and laugh at the matter. We never intended to not pay for what we have ate but refuse to pay for what wasn’t edible and left. 10% discount and no service charge was an insult. Service charge is discretionary anyway. As foodies we would never go back. Management please investigate.

Been here twice recently. Both times food was great and a good drinks selection. Atmosphere is good with music videos playing behind the bar, and staff have been consistently friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Great beer selection, the staff are always lovely. Chill vibes and great during the summer when they open up the front. Loved coming here with friends, great music and the loaded fries were one of my favourite things about living in Altrincham!

We dropped in here on the off chance in a Friday night, Excellent warm friendly professional welcome, showed to our table, brilliant service, we had the ribs & rice bowl, both dishes were delicious, great vibe, lovely selection of drinks, would definitely return

This place feels more like a diner than a pub to me and I’m only here for a drink today. It’s Happy Hour and only £3 a scoop for each of the 3 locally sourced cask ales on.

Great pub, excellent beer. Tom on the bar is 10/10.

Visited for the first time and had great time, staff were very friendly. The food was overall lovely (recommend the brisket fries). A couple of small notes on the pork bites were slightly over done and onion rings were slightly under done but all was tasty. The selection of beer is also top notch with great variety, staff were very happy to give testers and can recommend the 7 brothers honey beer if it's on when you visit.

This is the best place to go for food if you want something that’s home made. It is an American style bar restaurant. The service is great from Charlie and Ollie. On this visit I had Louisiana and Chips which I would recommend it’s great.

We went here on the weekend for the first time and we really enjoyed it, fantastic cocktails and the food was great too. All the staff made us and our dog feel very welcome. We’ll definitely be back!

Went for the monthly comedy nights. Bought drinks downstairs before heading up to our prebooked table. Good mix of stand up comedians. Bucket for donations at end - cash or card

We were looking for a place to have dinner before flying the next day and stumbled upon rustic .this is a nice small bar restaurant with craft beer I had burger with chip cheese and gravy with side of onion rings my partner had the Mac cheese and chips.oh my god honestly best burger Ive ever had and fair to say I've had a few ccand gravy 😋😋 onion rings wow partner couldn't finish all hers such a great portion so I helped finish it to also had a couple of craft beers to wash it down great place and great service from the staff .will definitely be back when down this way again 👍😋😋😋

I really liked the atmosphere, and the food and cocktails were perfect. I've got a chicken burger with nice slices of sausage in a gluten-free bun, and my friend was enjoying her ribs with crunchy fries and salad made from red cabbage. There's nothing to regret. I just recommend trying it.

A nice place with lots of options on the menu. Tried the chicken fajitas and the kids chicken nuggets (which was made of chicken breast pieces, extra points for this!). Everything was lovely!

Best fajitas I've had out. Super dog friendly too, lovely manager, super quick service. Owners were a delight too when they met our dog. My partner had the chicken burger and chips and was delighted. Also comedy nights here... £33 for burger and chips, fajitas a beer and a coke. Good value!

Wow wow wow. First time here tonight and it was absolutely amazing. Everything from the service (thank you so much to the guy who served us tonight - so sorry to not get his name! He was so attentive and lovely) to the amazing cocktails we had (2 for £11 special for happy hour - fab!!! So delicious) to the outstanding food. Perfect. We tried the raspberry vodka cocktail, dark and stormy, Jack frost and rusty tart. All delicious! I ordered the baby back ribs which were literally falling off the bone, so tender and so delicious! Even the chips and red cabbage coleslaw were YUM. My husband ordered the two sliders plate - American and Tokyo Drift - both good, though the beef brisket fries he ordered were definitely the star of his order. I had to restrain myself from nicking a bunch of them 🤣 they are seeeeeriously good! We'll definitely be back to try more menu items (and cocktails!) ❤️❤️❤️

We come to Rustik frequently for a fun Friday night full of great live music. We’ve recently also started to come for our breakfast - the food is great (especially the Mac and cheese hash browns). Would really recommend!

Booked a table for my friends birthday rang up a few weeks before to confirm and change time they said it was fine. I’ve turned up tonight and they said oh sorry our kitchen is shut and said they had emailed which they hadn’t the only email I got was them asking me to pre order and because they said I won’t need to pre order on the phone so I didn’t think to check my emails. However I get there and they said sorry kitchen is shut we did email THEY DID NOT EMAIL ME to tell me the kitchen was shut and if they did email me to tell me which they didn’t they should have rang me at least considering I booked a table of 15 people for a birthday and have now had to not eat and we’re left not knowing what to do and quite upset cause it was a birthday I used to love it here but I’m just upset and disappointed because the guy didn’t even offer an apology or anything to me really disappointed.

Visited with friends and had fajitas. Excellent food and great pints of local cask ale. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was plentiful and very tasty.

Another first time visit by Jorvic. Close to the Altrincham transport interchange. Large downstairs bar with further seating on next floor. Good choice of real ale. Jorvic had a pint of Marble Pint. Good vibe. The kitchen was busy with food orders. Good selection of craft fizzy beer. Good wine.

Ordered 2 sliders for £9.75 and although they are sliders (small) I was expecting them to be very tasty with interesting and robust flavours to justify the silly price. Sadly, they were about 10cm in diameter and very bland/ boring, main flavour for both was salt. Very poor value. I had the fried chicken slider which consisted of a bun, a slither of soggy lettuce on the bottom and some onion and then a very overcooked, dry, minuscule slither of fried chicken which was hard in places and very dark, possibly burnt and with no sauce so hard to eat and just not flavoursome at all. The halloumi burger was equally dull but atleast not dry. Unfortunately just really boring and overpriced imo. My friends found their full size burgers boring and overpriced and again soggy due to tomato and lettuce soaking too long on the bottom, underwhelming but edible and ok. The wings were very small. The flavour combo of the disco fries was good but the fries themselves very soggy, if they were crispy they would make a very nice side dish. Woman with blond hair was poe faced and grumpy without cause. Other staff were friendly though. Would not come back for food but maybe for drinks as seemed like a good selection.

Beer is good and cans affordable, food alright

So glad we chose Rustic for lunch. There was so much choice that we struggled to pick from the menu. Everyone's food was so tasty and the craft beers were an added bonus. We would definitely return next time we are in Altrincham 🙂

Good night out with all my friends

This was our second visit (the first being a few days before for a quick bite for brunch) so we already had a good idea of the food and service. That said, this visit was much later in the day when there were fewer people serving so it took a lot longer to get our food and drinks order taken. The food is good and the service friendly. Don't sit at the table at the front left of the door - really cold everytime someone goes in or out!

Lovely food, all reasonably priced. Not a wide selection dishes but a good variation on those 5 different dishes. The staff were very friendly and we felt genuinely welcomed. We will definitely return. I can't really comment on the atmosphere, as we dined early dinner and we were the first customers in.

Cocktail offers great and very tasty and strong! Ribs need cooking longer - they didn’t fall off the bone like I have previously had. But overall good atmosphere and I would go back

Greeted with a smile when entering and asking if they had any tables. We went upstairs as downstairs was very busy. Good value drinks and very good food, highly recommended place for either drink or food!

Great service with knowledge bar staff, down to the sourcing of the hops for different beers. The food is lovely and reasonably priced.

Awesome staff member called Arthur, sorted me out with food. Went above and beyond and after an awful day ended my day on a high. Would 10/10 recommend.

Do yourself a favor and order the brisket loaded fries. They are delicious. They are so perfect that it seems you are living in a simulation. Undescribable. The burgers are also very tasty. Service is nice too. But yeah, if you have to do something today is to try the loaded brisket fries.

We sat in room upstairs as there was a few of us nobody complained about the food and most of us had different so we did try most of menu has a lot if different choice The only things that are a minus the room upstairs was cold and you get fries with meals so £13 for just burger is expensive but they where nice The girl who served us did work hard walking up the stairs with everything

I entered the premises with 3 of my associates. We walked towards the bar to be presented by a large, white male. This large, white male preceded to ask me and my associates for our ID’s. We all complied and gave our ID’s which were approved, we told the large white male that 2 females would be joining us. The large, white male then preceded to start giving us an attitude and state that since these females were not here, we would not get served. He then gave the impression that we would be served. 2 minutes later, the large white male returned and stated ‘we have a legal right to not serve you, so i will not serve you as i dislike you’. This made me and my associates very uncomfortable and there was no reason for this attrociaty. I am utterly disgusted for how me and my associates were treated. I have already contacted the police and we will be taking legal action against this large, white male. I will not be returning to this utter atrocious bar.

I've reviewed this before, but wanted to review again to confirm; it continues to be a charming establishment with excellent service and tasty food.

Buzzy, good burgers- can get 3 slides which are mini burgers and mix and match so you can try different ones. Good cocktails, nice environment.

Nice selection of keg and cask beers in a great setting. There is a good food selection at reasonable prices, the Nacho Libra fries were excellent!

Brilliant food & excellent staff. Party of 6 on Thursday and all of us were really impressed.

We absolutely love Rustic for both drinks & food - the staff are lovely & our greyhound thinks it’s her second home! Would recommend for anyone who is looking for a laid back & fun evening with good food (or even in need of a good hangover cure). Would recommend the fajitas, so so tasty!

What an amazing experience. Came for lunch as we loved the vibe and decor. A gorgeous feel and staff are brilliant, so friendly and polite (Charlie you're awesome.... you should work more Saturdays) The food was just gorgeous. We had 3 sliders (Buenos Aires, Tokyo drift and Luigi), the hot buffalo wings and loaded fries. It was all to die for. The hot sauce was stunning and the pork belly was so flavoursome not to mention the BBQ brisket loaded fries were just awesome. The best quality food and great protions, cooked really well. Definitely be back to visit again, thanks, and I can't wait to try the rest of your menu.

We only popped in for cocktails. The staff were friendly and pleasant. The apricot flavoured "posh g&t's" were very nice. I'm not sure that 2 for £11 constitutes much of an offer or having cut up pallets on the wall makes it rustic.

Visited on a Thursday early evening and the atmosphere was poor with very few customers. The bar staff were friendly and took our order quickly. We waited 40 minutes for our order (for2 people) to arrive when only one other table were eating. The food was very average and over cooked. We had the sliders which were incredibly small, so felt like they were just a starter size even though we had 3 each. Not a big menu. Won’t be rushing back. Apparently the only night they’re busy is Saturday.

It has that american saloon feel to it, and even has a resident sheepdog that is quite content to sleep and watch you all. It gets packed quickly, and in all honesty I can see why. The food is excellent - broad choice. The loaded fries are excellent and the sliders very tasty - with a variety of styles to make a unique dish. Excellent background music and ambiance.

Fab American bar a short walk from the Travelodge. Dog Friendly and great staff. Excellent service. Booths to enjoy delish burgers on home made brioche buns. So good we went two nights running. Thx all.

Wasnt impressed. Menu was small and portions were not that large for the prices. Everything is extra so the bill can increase quickly. Service was almost non-existent. We had to continuously ask for utensils, and other items including refills. Waitress was forcibly polite and very unknowledgeable when it came to the menu. The place was empty so service should have been better. Music was a bit loud and the stools were uncomfortable. Won't be back.

Nice decor, great service, amazing food, good selection of drinks

There is nothing on the menu I don't want to eat, the atmosphere is fantastic, the decor and lighting is my kind of ambient, the selection of drinks is vast, the staff are attentive and the choice of playlist is beyond awesome. There is nothing about the place that I didn't like. I had the classic hotdog, my wife had chilli fries with nachos and my two fussy daughters had plain fries. All of it was delicious and I'll be back many times to work my way through the menu. Absolutely fantastic.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly service. This was a sharing platter at £24.95 and I couldn’t believe the amount of food that came out. Sliders (choice or pulled pork, jerk bbq chicken or shredded beef brisket, ribs, wings (choice of three ways) sweetcorn, skin on fries, home made coleslaw with a bbq glaze on the side so you could glaze yourself to your liking. I will be visiting here again as really enjoyed the food and atmosphere 👍

I came in on a Saturday lunchtime shortly after opening time so I was the only person in the place at first. After choosing a table about 10 blokes came in for a drink. Instead of taking my food order the 2 waitresses chose to serve them all and leave me waiting. It was over 10 minutes before 1 of them slightly apologetically took my order. I don't like to start on a negative but fortunately my experience was greatly improved by the delicious food! I had the Louisiana chicken burger and it was very tasty. A nice crispy coating and good flavour from the cajun seasoning. The ribs fell off the bone and were superbly coated. I also had the Brisket loaded fries which was a massive portion and again went down a treat! A slight improvement in service (which will come with experience I think) and this place will be real gem.
