Very friendly staff, fairly priced food and drinks, clean and hospitable dining area. There’s ample parking, a play area for the kids, and lovely surroundings to walk in. Well worth a visit.

Visited today with family, the young girls at the counter have clearly received zero training. Bring back the previous staff please. The ice cream has gone down hill aswell. Shame, used to quite special place.

After our walk with the dog we sat outside to get a cup of tea, but when entering the cafe we were told it was dog friendly. Dogs have their own refreshment bar, 3 dog bowls with extra water provided if run out and Bonio biscuits. Just what our four legged friends need after exploring Runnymede. Lovely cream tea, very friendly and chatty staff. Good selection of drinks and snacks and I'm sure all dietary requirements are catered for. Clean and welcoming, definitely a good stop, don't drive past pop in.

Stopped here on route to Frogmore for coffees and teas with a coach trip. Service was extremely quick and efficient and the coffee was great. Used the facilities and was very impressed by the cleanliness everywhere. Staff were cleaning after everyone continuously and doing an excellent job. Would be very happy to come back here.

Good pit stop for visiting the area - absolutely delicious pasties and a good selection of cakes and drinks. Good location and now off to look around the site and soak up the history.

Visited here today with my grandchild. Asked for a babycino which they didn’t sell - not a problem. Ordered her a hot chocolate instead. It was so hot it burnt her mouth (they knew it was for a child as they asked if it was ok to add marshmallows). When I asked for more cold milk to be added I was rudely told it was a HOT chocolate. When I explained it was so hot she had burnt her mouth the person working responded with “what do you want, an ambulance?” We were going to stay for lunch but found an alternative after this service.

Three coffees for £7.20! What a rip off. I watched them make it with instant coffee out of a jar. So I wouldn’t mind as much if the price reflected this ! I could see they didn’t have a barista machine but assume it would be filter coffee.

We have stopped here several times on our travels and it has always been good. There was plenty of parking and the first half hour is free. The menu is quite large and after ordering, you are given a pager to go and collect your food, which didn’t take long. We didn’t actually see any table wiping, but the whole area was very clean. There are play areas nearby and plenty of grassy areas to picnic .

This is a beautiful location. We were caught out by a downpour so sought cover in the cafe and bought coffees accordingly. It was the most disgusting coffee I have ever had so I didn't drink it. The person serving had been quite curt, so I didn't bother complaining. Shame. It is such a nice spot that I could have become a regular.

Nice cafe in the park. Nice sunny weekday wasn’t that busy plenty of spare tables. Girl behind the counter was very friendly. You get a pager that beeps when your food is ready. I had hardly sat down when it beeped. Food was good. Only one criticism the old boy who clears the tables and keeps the place tidy needs to get a personality! Tried to make conversation with him twice about weather etc only to be totally blanked by him. No need for that. If he was deaf I apologise.

I would be wary of this place. Ordered two cones with flakes. When I got outside, discovered that both flakes were covered in green mould. To be fair, the staff were absolutely fine about replacing the ice creams, with flakes taken from a newly opened box. But it makes me think twice.

Stopped here for a breakfast, ended up being handed two soggy under-toasted pieces of cheap bread with beans. Got given a wooden fork and knife that would barely tear the soggy bread apart. Went to ask for either a real knife, or re-toasted bread. Was just met with a “do I look like I care” silence and a confused look of someone going “this is toast, we have no knives” Can’t believe I spent almost £5 on two pieces of hardly toasted bread with beans, and even charging that much it wasn’t enough for them to care. Won’t be returning

I haven't done a review for a while but i was so impressed by this cafe. We ate outside. The staff wore face shields, were cleaning down all the picnic tables with antibacterial spray. The food was freshly cooked and collected at a separate area. The queue was clearly marked out. I had a lovely scampi and chips. Large portions. We sat chatting all afternoon drinking coffees. I will certainly return.

Only doing take away at present, but you can sit at the socially distanced benches. Our food was excellent, sadly in polystyrene containers, but that is life at present. Excellent menu at reasonable prices. Food is simple but very good quality at reasonable prices. Great location in the pleasure Grounds. Staff are really friendly and helpful. A great place for a simple good quality meal.

My young daughter likes the Pleasure Grounds - so we come here quite often. The cafe is absolutely fine. Reasonably priced, staff nice enough, and food basic but ok enough for a quick snack.Don't expect big things - but if you want something simple to fill a hole this place is fine.

This is a lovely snack bar/cafe in the Pleasure Grounds at Runneymede. Even thoug hte tables are outside under an awning they are spotless, as is the rest of the area. The food is good and a reasonable price. The staff are friendly and helpful. You can also buy from a large selection of ice creams and drinks. The pleasure grounds nearby are great fro walking with plenty for youngsters to play on. A pleasure to visit.

We stopped for a snack lunch on a very hot day and were pleasantly surprised. There is free parking for 30 minutes, or £1.50 for an hour. The cafe had picnic benches and most of them were under shade (which was needed!). Everywhere was very clean and although service wasn't particularly friendly, it was quick. The menu is big with hot dogs, burgers, fish and chips, pizza, jacket potatoes etc. And it is only a 100 yard walk to the river.

Stopped by this morning for a slice of cake, ordered the marble cake (£1.70) got to the car, opened the packet to find mould in 3 different parts of the cake, best before date was just in, (about 5 days or so) took it back to counter, showed the lady who served me, she apologised and offered me another one, I asked for a refund instead (didn't really fancy trying another slice at that point!) When asked if I could have a refund, I got the reply of 'not really' I went on to advised her that she had just sold me food with mould on, to which she said 'I know' after again stating I would like a refund she walked out the back (assumingly to speak to someone?) Came back out and finally took £1.70 out of the till and slammed it in my hand. Thanks but no thanks Runnymede, you need to check the training your staff have had and also check your food often! Will advise anyone to not go there (unless you are from the food standards agency

The cagfe is extremely good value. It has a good variety of hot food as well as sandwiches and ice cream at a reasonable cost. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The cafe is situated in the Pleasure Grounds where the children can play safely - there is also a paddling pool and access to the river. I was here with my grand daughter and she thoroughly enjoyed the food.

We popped to the cafe on the way to Windsor, whilst waiting for check in time at a hotel nearby. It is a lovely place to take the family or for a thoughtful walk by the Thames. The cafe has cold drinks, hot drinks, ice cream and some lovely snacks. It is next to a play area. Also a great place to watch the numerous aeroplanes landing and taking off from Heathrow. You can almost see the people through the windows!!

Excellent service, quality products. While visiting family and staying in a nearby hotel, this place was our morning breakfast and coffee. The friendly staff worked quickly to keep lines to a minimum, as many locals dropped in for a coffee to go. There is comfortable seating inside and outside, and the staff didn’t rush anyone away. I was there many times in a few days.

It would be better if cakes covered in chocolate were not placed in the same bag as hot items. We had a bit of a sticky melted mess with the millionaires shortbreads!
